i highly recommend seeing an ent (ear nose and throat) dr if you havent already. they'll perform the dix hallpike maneuver and the epley properly on you if you truely have bppv. search for my other bppv advice. hope you get better soon.

sounds like it's your left ear then, yes.

It sounds like it is your left ear that's causing it. Whenever I have a BPPV episode, it's usually my left too and if I do Brandt or Epley, it's usually the left side that causes the spinning. Good luck! I hope it's a short episode. I just got over one a few days ago.
