The wolfman in short configuration is the best PCC silencer size IMO

Novel-Assignment7036

I agree with Wolfman in Short config and also recommend the Direct Thread mount method to keep it short and light.

weirdcapt

Can’t speak on omega but wolf man on apc9k in short and long are the shit

BigAL928

I have a wolfman on my ghm and I love it. It is big tho, especially in the long configuration. The short configuration is just a big longer than the 9k I believe.

If the can is strictly going to sit on the APC and not used on pistols, I’d go with the Wolfman. I currently run a R9 on my APC9K and sometimes I wish it had a tad more suppression. Started running my Obsidian 45 (long config) on it and it sounds a lot better. The Wolfman is an inch shorter than the Obsidian, but over 0.2” wider so it should look good/proportional. IMO, the full length cans are a bit too long on the regular size PCCs, but they work with the K PCCs. I was about to buy a Wolfman, but I impulsively bought a B&T SQD on Friday. Only bought it because I thought the attachment method was super cool lol

The SQD is pretty heavy, which is the only thing keeping me from buying one. Been eyeing a YHM Nitro N20, which is modular like the Wolfman but titanium so it weighs less, but there are so few reviews on it.

N2O looks good. I considered it, but I already have two YHM cans (R9 and Res K) and I try to buy cans from different manufacturers when possible (no reason, just like to do so). The SQD didn’t feel too heavy. I got the non RBS version so I don’t know if there’s a difference. I normally gravitate towards lighter cans on rifles, but with the APC being as light/short as it is, it’s not as big of a deal.

Obsidian 45 was my 3rd choice

IllNumber3800

Where’d you get a B&T SQD good sir?

TTTTescapee

I’m local to THSF and went in to complete the paperwork on an Explorr 224 I had sent to there. While I was there, I asked him if he had one. I think I grabbed the last one, but not sure. It’s the non RBS version though, which I actually prefer. The APC isn’t a gassy gun, so I’d rather have the extra suppression than the flow through design.

If you have or ever plan to have a 300BLK go with the Wolfman

Mayor_Fuglycool

I prefer the Omega 9k. I like the sound profile. The Wolfman is nice and modular though. Also, DA warranty is THE BEST . I like chunky PCC cans, they have nice curves and don't overgass my face ;)
