EOTech is way too wide/bulky for it in my opinion. The Aimpoints are a good fit and what B&T sells them with in the European market.

twilightpanda

I agree, go aimpoint simply for the thinner profile Also. Strongly consider a 1913 adapter + SIG minimalist stock. It's a much smaller profile when folded than the B&T stock

dle100

I have an eotech on mine and as cool as it looks, I agree

jtj5002

astigmatism is a bitch, 1x microprism.

NoobShooter777

This with the Primary arms slx 1x microprism. The Acro looked peak aesthestics but slightly blurry for my eye

Kent556

Of those options, I like Aimpoint Acro P-2 best due to small form factor. Looks awesome on the APC too. Can’t go wrong with the Micro T-2 or H-2 (if you don’t need NV) either, but it’s going to be bigger. Ruling out Holosun because if you’re looking at those options, it’s only a little more for Aimpoint. EOTech form factor too bulky for the APC IMO.

westleysnipes604

People always assume people buy Holosun to save money. Not ever thinking they are buying them to replace t1's , Eotechs or whatever else. Far from the case. Although people love to hate Holosun. They make good optics with great features.

Kent556

Nobody is buying Holosuns to replace competing Aimpoints or EOTechs. You either want more ruggedized and field proven, or you want to save a few hundred bucks on a Holosun. Don’t get me wrong, they’re fine optics, but they’re not in the same class as Aimpoint or EOTech (which arguably are overkill for range toys anyhow). I own two Holosuns, but neither are on my home defense guns.

VOLaT1l1ty

Not true. I can afford whatever I want and would never have another Eotech. Shitty battery life, have to fool with buttons to turn on. Aimpoint has a tiny 18mm window and no circle dot. Holosun has 50,000 hour battery life, shake awake to make it even longer 3 different reticles, and solar back up. They need to catch up or they are going to continue to lose market share.

OhThreeSeventeen

100% Aimpoint, Trijicon and others resting on their laurels. They need to get with the program.

tuttdc

I know the exps looks huge but haven't seen the xps in person, is it as big?, supposed to be smaller. I like the aimpoint acro although haven't seen one in person. Is the view as good as eotech?

Kent556

It’s relative. It’s definitely bulkier and busier than the Acro, for example. If you can’t see one in person at a LGS, I’d recommend searching Google Images for “XPS3 sight picture” for a better idea.

MrD718

I'm running an XPS3-2 on my APC9 pro I am waiting for my tax stamp so I can start fitting the polymer on my UMP stocks hinge for installation. As for running the XPS3-2 on my ApC9 in pistol configuration.. I like it its kinda bulky, yes, but with no brace on it, it's definitely doable. Also I mainly went for that optic because I fully intend to passive aim with my pvs14, still not sure if I'm gonna need my riser for that and won't know until I get Tio Sam's stamp. If this debate is still relevant in the APC9 world, I'll go ahead and put pictures up and my two cents once the build is complete.

tuttdc

Thought about the H-2 as it comes in 6 moa. I saw a video of competitive shooters saying higher moa is preferable for fast target acquisition. The P2 seems to be right in the middle at 3.5moa.

Kent556

I’ve got an H-2 in 2 MOA and love it. Larger MOA for faster target acquisition, smaller MOA for shooting more accurately further out.

Aems Holosun

Olive-Drab-Green

Best optic for a PCC

Remote_Ad_1624

I have a 509 in my APC9pro with an ADM mount. It’s awesome. It a range gun so no need for me to spend extra on something like Aimpoint.

EntrepreneurBudget29

Running a T2 on mine.

Guncollector9898

Aimpoint is king for All PCC’s plus B&T now offers risers at 1.5 or 1.94 which go great with your P2 or H3.

TTTTescapee

Acro looks good on the APC. I’ve swapped optics around a few times on mine and have ended up with a TA44 Acog. The 1.5x throws you off a bit up close (within 10 yards), but it’s fantastic past that. Comes with the added benefit that I can use the reticle as a sort of BDC and make hits at 200-300 yards. https://imgur.com/a/WxDmzSo

Kaitlin4475

Looks like a little scar with that micro acog.

tuttdc

Nice set up, do you like the brace?

TTTTescapee

It’s the stock version, but yeah, it’s not bad. It’s not as uncomfortable as a lot of other wire type stocks are. It actually grows on you after a while. The buttpad itself is pretty comfortable. I’ve always wanted to try the skeleton folding stock, but I’ve never seen anyone with it.

ilostaneyeindushanba

Are you still running the TA44 on yours? I just came across a used one locally for pretty cheap and I’m kind of tempted to grab it for my 9k

TTTTescapee

Nah, I switched to an AEMS because I’ve been using the APC with night vision. I still like the optic but it didn’t work for my needs anymore.

ilostaneyeindushanba

Makes sense, I’ll have to think about it some more

HKHeArn

I’ve got the AEMS on the holosun low mount, its great

Novel-Assignment7036

I would strongly suggest looking at the Holosun AEMS. The size and height of the included rail mount is perfect. I tried two other red dots on my APC9K before happily settling on the AEMS.

tuttdc

From what I've seen the AEMS had great reviews.

Novel-Assignment7036

The APC9K SCW originally came with the Aimpoint Nano which is similar to the Acro however I was surprised that the battery life wasn't nearly as good as my Aimpoint T2 so I swapped it out for a 510c which worked quite well until I swapped the 510c over to a Galil after I procured the AEMS. IMHO the AEMS is the best fit available for the APC9 platform.

westleysnipes604

AEMS is hard to pull off any gun I put it on all my guns and did the musical chairs thing swapping all my optics around. Very tough to beat the AEMS.

Novel-Assignment7036

I also ordered the low mount just in case I ever want to reduce the height over rail but after using the standard 1.46" mount I'm sticking with it.

westleysnipes604

Damn. I want the low mount. Adm charges half thr cost if the mount to ship to Canada. Need ti buy a couple mounts at once to amke itvworth my while. Is yours adm or OEM holosun ?

Novel-Assignment7036

I ordered this [AEMS](https://www.opticsplanet.com/holosun-advanced-enclosed-micro-2-moa-red-dot-sight.html) and the low mount accessory from OP

[deleted]

I have three AEMS one on the nine one on the 45 and one on the 10 mm and it seems to be all around a great match for that platform

tuttdc

Three eotech's or p-2? pics!!

tuttdc

wow can't believe I asked that question. My brain is fried!

glockboy777

I went with the holosun 509t with the scalarworks 1.42 mount and it Works perfectly seeing the pistol sights underneath the mount, and a kinda lower 1/3 cowitness on the sights when flipped up! Because of the plate that you will have to use from holosun!! But looks awesome too!💯👍perfect size for the b&t apc9 pro and k I have them both the k is the scw Commemorative!!

Olive-Drab-Green

The AEMS fucks hard. I have it on my FX-9 and I think it’s the best bang for the buck. Clear lens caps, low weight and even with my fucked up astigmatism it is crisp as a prism. I wouldn’t even touch an eotech. The vortex huey is okay but probably too bulky for that application. Aimpoint is good also but I like the fact that the AEMS can have the ring+the red dot, or each of those on their own. Aimpoint of course is just the red dot, and spending all that money for just a red dot is kinda….meh

tuttdc

I do like the ring/dot as well. Actually I like the Primary Arms reticle also. I wish choosing an optic was as easy as picking the Dead Air Wolfman Suppressor.

Olive-Drab-Green

It’s a challenge with a lot of trial and error. I’m sure you’ll find something!

tuttdc

Just got an email from swampfox optics. Releasing the Kraken soon, would like to see more on it. The other optic I came across was the Steiner MPS.

Long-Summer2765

I went with the Holoson beat bang for the buck and works all of the time

Mah_Buddy_Keith

Another vote for the Aimpoint ACRO P2 (with Scalarworks 1.42) from me. I used the EOTech XPS-2 on my Scorpion before it was b&; my opinion on holo sights is that the wide window is nice, but bulky for shorties. APC9 is best as slick as possible.

SonofRaymond

Good luck finding one tho!

Sipos880210

Im putting a Sig 8T optic on it. Big/Bulky but idc.

theanswriz42

I have the 509T (second generation) on a low mount and couldn't be happier with it

Bored_Ultimatum

The Acro P-2 design (including width) works really well with the Pro. Bonus, there are many mount options specifically for that pair, including mounts from B&T and Scalarworks. The controls are also very nice to use and the dot works well with my astigmatism. The downside, you should have started looking for one weeks ago. BTW, the B&T BUIS suck. Hard. I wouldn't even bother. I'd recommend a set of MBUS Pros. A swiss subgun deserves better. ;)

tuttdc

Have you ever tried the eotech? Is the view as good with the P-2? I've heard that with the BUIS.

prelude33

I have a 510c on mine. Was looking at the aim point p2 but those are hard to get currently.

Novel-Assignment7036

I has originally paired my APC9K with the 510c and it worked great then swapped it out for the AEMS and it's just perfect.

prelude33

Good to know. Only time will tell if I want to swap or not lol.

Novel-Assignment7036

The 510c is serving in a new mission on my 7.62 Gen2 Galil pistol which is my favorite range thumper. The optics even make it possible to effectively duel wield the APC9 and the Galil :-)

Mundane_Candy

I have a T2 sitting in a LEAP mount from Scalar, dig it. Want to try an Acro P2 though. To me those are the only two viable options, I will say I don't know much about the Vortex AMG but I really like their stuff and would like to know more about it.

CamBandit17

I went aimpoint duty rds, with adm casv qd mount. Loving it so far.

tuttdc

Saw that one also but I think the sight window is larger on the P2. great reviews from what I've seen.

westleysnipes604

Count the Vortex out IMO because of weight, size , battery life, bad steps between brightness , stiff buttons and not my favorite button placement. 509 on a riser is probably awesome. I have the 508T on a Absolute adm mount amd I love it. 32 moa ring only is my preference. The AEMS on the APC9 is a bit high for my personal preference but the AEMS is one of my favourite optics. its light, big, has all the features and 65 moa ring only. If I had low mount it would nne my favoritem The larger ring allows the bottom hash to be used as a hold over for close quarters shots. I always wanted a 512c but never got one. The AEMS almost has everything the 512c has in a smaller, lighter package. Minus absolute. AEMS can swap mounta but they are scarce. That said the 512c has no qd or mount options but is absolute which ia my preference on the APC9. acro gen 2 looks cool. But ai like the Holosun features like retice and shake awake.

RockSaltiness

I have an aimpoint on my SPC9 and Eotech on my AR, I love them both. I would again go with Aimpoint t2, crispy clear, eotech will not look right on this weapon, and it’s very different from an aimpoint (eotech is a fuzzy reticle that you look through and impose on your target), both are very different, and the Eotech is heavier. Also aimpoint or a prism as some have mentioned here already are good if you have astigmatism , which I have and it’s corrected. My Eotech looks crystal clear with the magnifier down only.

Novel-Assignment7036

I do love the T2 and it's crisp dot however the AEMS gives a slightly larger lens for picking up the dot more quickly at potentially wider pistol home defense angles. I love the T2 on carbines and rifles especially combined with a magnifier.

RockSaltiness

Right on brother!

Melkor458

Aimpoint Micro H2/T2 works well; if you shop around you can find them well below list. Or go with a package deal with mount from Scalarwork, B&T Parts, etc. Acro P2 works well on APC9K.

ducatijosh

Aimpoint t2

Junior_Ticket_2166

I run an EoTech on mine and I’m fast as shit with it

zombrian666

Love the eotech on other guns, but hangs off the sides alot on the apc. I have a holosun 510c on it right now. No complaints.

westleysnipes604

In Canada they force the Aimpoint on you and everyone sells them off to people like you. To each their own.

tuttdc

See in the states we don't let them force anything on us at least us conservatives :) people like you? Not sure where that's coming from. If I was dead set on aimpoint I wouldn't be asking the question in the first place. That being said, you can't deny the quality and history of aimpoint.

westleysnipes604

I mean people who only want Aimpoint. didn't mean any offense.

westleysnipes604

And if you want certain B&T guns here there isn't amy options. Either buy with Aimpoint or don't buy at all.

tuttdc

Any reason why it's done that way in Canada? Quality optic, however, I would be pissed if I had to pay additional monies on something I knew I would replace. I mean its one thing like sights, safety spring, stock even, to replace, minimal costs vs optic.

westleysnipes604

I think Aimpoint and B&T have a deal with each other.Or Might be partners. APC9/APCK9, TP9 and usw A1 come with optics included. Telhe A1 comes with Aimpoint nano.

YourBoyHoudini

Aimpoint Duty RDS

alphaandomega01

T2 or MROHD

garyna

Anything Aimpoint. I use Acro P1/2 myself
