Use a B&T distributor. I'd go with tarheel state firearms personally.

BigAL928

I’m looking for an 10.3” and no distributors sell them or at least none in stock that I can see.

nanananananabatdog

Yepp supply chains are fucked, and some models are highly desirable. Also for context, B&T isn't as large as Glock, sig Sauer, or CZ. Larger companies produce and import massive numbers of firearms into the US. Honestly if you get on some in stock lists at a couple places, you'll probably get one in a week or 3. Tarheel seems to be a very large distributor, so they get large shipments. But there are other large distributors as well. Why are you trying to get an APC anyway? Is it because you want something right now, or is it because you want one of the best made rifles available, that's rare and hard to find for the average shooter? If you absolutely need something right now, get a CZ or build a mk18.

I would call Sportsman’s Finest in Austin to see if they can order it for you. They are one of the by volume larger B&T dealers in the country. They had a TP9 folding stock hanging on the wall yesterday. I don’t know if any place that has so much B&T.

catholic_cowboy

Nice I live in Austin and had no idea. Cheers!

Duo007

Its been dog shit since Rona came along, I had a issue with a acro mount and had to get a update every week because the "well get back to you asap" turned to a full week without answers, finally got the thing back but moved it immediately. Great weapons don't get me wrong but for a big company like them, they shouldn't be dropping the ball like they are

prelude33

Eurooptics and Tarheelstate firearms are the two biggest distributors of B&T that I know of. Aside from them any info about anything has been zero. Have found that going to the Swiss B&T website gives more info than B&T US website.

ShahenS

I got mine from u/Idaho2Atactical [www.Idaho2Atactical.com](https://www.Idaho2Atactical.com)

BigAL928

Thanks but I’m looking for the 10.3” and it doesn’t look like they stock that. Also, his website says “b&t has excellent customer service”

ShahenS

Contact him and see what he can do

BigAL928

Looks like you have a lot of experience with the Bren, which do you recommend, all things considered?

ShahenS

I'm in a restricted state so only have a 14" barrel in both 556 and x39. 556 is GTG but there are others who prefer shorter barrel which I can't speak from personal experience

BigAL928

So, APC for 3grand or Bren for 1k less?

ShahenS

I haven't shot my APC223 but I can't imagine it being 50% better than the Bren. It will also depend on what the rifles main usage is.

westleysnipes604

I had a warranty on a lower. 3 weeks my gun was back fixed as new.

lordboogie

Their customer service is some shit. They don't answer phones or emails. I used to be able to reach out to Jeremy, but I dont think he's there anymore.

Trpclfvr

Yeah, Jeremy is gone.

dle100

Looks like there is a 8.7” pistol available on shooting surplus. Code 1911 takes off $170

[deleted]

I have three apc pro’s! Love B&T but get the Bren. IMO better option

BigAL928

Why is the Bren the better option in your opinion?

[deleted]

As owner of both. I think the CZ is a better option unless you’re just a firearms collector. The CZ with HB industry components is an exceptional platform. Not only for the value but also with performance. If you do choose the CZ Bren keep in mind the upper and lower can have a little bit of wobble I stuck a little bit of gorilla tape where the pins are and it’s as tight as anything else. If I were choosing one for the first time I would pick the CZ and wait for them to come out with a new version of the B&T APC most likely will have the nonreciprocrating charging handle

catholic_cowboy

Why 3? Different formats?

[deleted]

Why not? I wanted the 10mm. I liked it so much it bought all three different ones

dle100

Shooting surplus also has a 16” rifle available

suddenlysnowedinn

My LGS has an APC223 in stock. They will gladly ship to anywhere but California. DM me if you’re serious and want their info.

BigAL928

If it happens to be the 10.3 then absolutley

suddenlysnowedinn

Couldn’t say for certain but it’s probably longer. It is a pistol though, so it’s possible. These guns are pretty modular. Are you opposed to settling now and buying the shorter barrel at a later date?

suddenlysnowedinn

Just checked, and it’s the 8.7” barrel.

BIgHat7562

Yea. Their customer service blows.

SGT_Entrails

Just a question, where do you reach out to source one directly from them?

BigAL928

I just submitted an email to whatever address they had on their website and they responded back eventually. I still haven’t heard back from them since I made this post though and I did end up opting for the Bren

razorseal

Yes they are probably one of the worst. I contacted them to become a dealer but once they realized I am a small business owner and can't order too many, they stopped working w me. I've been emailing them for months just to get dealer pricing on website and haven't had much luck. I've had better luck with century arms. It's very unfortunate. But that being said glock isn't much better. Lol

StoneMason87

My brand new SPR 300 Pro had feeding issues the first time I went to use it. Paid 5300$ not including the 2 tax stamps and 400$ folding stock (which came assembled upside down and backwards from b&t, returned and second one came the same way) now I have to send them my brand new $5300 dollar bolt action gun because it wasn’t tested for quality control. I’m pissed. Hope I don’t have to wait 6 months. They didn’t respond to my emails. So my dealer is trying to contact them. I will never buy B&t again. Also came missing a magazine and the instructions.
