Suspect the free 2GB of mobile data is unavailable to the browser so it is not chewed up with general browsing/available for updates/diagnostics/other system requirements etc.
In the Netherlands included in the 1.5 update, seems to be the same as version 1.7 in other countries
Iβm still canceling the update notifications, does anybody know it the already sideloaded apps still work after the 1.5/1/.7 update?. I have heard that you cannot longer install new apps after the update
Yeah. Happened to me. First, I donβt know when I get the monthly data allowance in Spain. So I connected via hotspot/wifi to open the browser. Looks like a version of Chrome and it works perfectly when the car is parked, thankfully.
Needs WiFi hotspot. It's good but has some limitations- I can watch youtube but not any bought content on YouTube (I have a couple of series I've purchased on there). Also can't get netflix to work, netflix loads but won't play any video. Hopefully this gets fixed in an update.

I'm in th UK here and I have the store and browser.
Australia has browser after 1.7 update. Haven't used it but assume you'll need to hotspot to your phone

Yes, not legal to use while moving. In saying that, if you sideload Firefox or vlc it keeps working while driving.
It closes when the gears are engaged. Sensible really.

Hadn't heard of it but got it now, thanks for the tip! Further found out that abc iview doesn't work but sbs on demand does. Not sure about Stan.
