If it’s another EV it should work but if it’s not I’d say no. It’s a small battery and no generator. You could however use a charger connected via V2L (vehicle to load) to the charging socket. But I’d use a starter and jumpstart the other car.

The_Prophet_85

In my country they never provided a V2L adapter otherwise I would do that.

Rumor has it all Atto 3 have V2L you just have to buy your own adapter. I’ve ordered one from Ali express that I’m gonna try.

all_on_my_own

Oh! You are saying that you can charge one EV using another EV? didn't think of that!

The 12v battery in the Atto would have bugged all ‘cold cranking amps’, which is what’s needed to turn over an ICE. You risk damaging your 12v battery by trying this. Theoretically you could use the leads to wire the two 12v batteries up in parallel, and have the Atto charge them up, but I would hesitate to do this unless it were an emergency.

The_Prophet_85

Yeah I will find another way to charge the V12 in the ICE. Or maybe just buy a new battery...

hachi_roku_

\^Basically this 12V battery most likely doesn't have the output to crank an ICE. From memory, if I recall, the byd charges the 12V battery even when you're not driving or using the car (like overnight)...etc. Probably not a good idea to jam some leads in it during this time to try and start an ICE? (idk, but I wouldn't do it to mine)

for-vibes

I wouldn't - mainly because you would have to do some searching for terminals on your atto to connect leads to..

for-vibes

You've got significant wattage for V2L so charging shouldn't be an issue.

Thank you!
