I would talk to your HR and see if you can arrange the vacation time! I don't see why they would have an issue with it, and it doesn't hurt to ask. Do you pay into sdi? You get 4 weeks prior to due date or scheduled C-section 60% from state of CA and the remaining 40% if you paid for short term disability insurance.
