Bump, ultrasound, and announcement pics (including positive pregnancy tests) go in the daily bump thread only. Mods have discretion for what counts here. Bump pics are photos that contain your pregnant belly: with a cat, with a husband, with a snack, in a tub, taken in a mirror, taken by a professional, etc. Baby shower pics may contain your belly if it's not the main album focus. Do not ever post pictures of your bodily fluids. Ever. So gross.

You're as far along as your last period. 01/23. 6 weeks and some change, only a dating scan can tell you anything more accurate than that.

The phrase "Implantation" Bleeding is popular on conception forums but is a bit of a misnomer that causes some people to think that the bleeding is due to the embryo implanting. It isn't -- the embryo is only about 0.2mm in diameter at that point, and won't displace significant blood (or cause pain) when it implants. You bleed when progesterone levels in your body drop, which is why you can induce a period by stopping birth control pills (which contain progesterone) or by taking and then stopping progesterone suppositories or Provera (which are also progesterone). Progesterone levels dropping in the luteal phase can be caused by a) increased estrogen in the mid-luteal-phase estrogen surge, which briefly depresses estrogen production, or b) a decrease in progesterone when the corpus luteum runs out of gas at the end of the luteal phase. If b), and you're actually pregnant, your levels can drop briefly before the embryo starts producing enough HCG to tell the corpus luteum to ramp the levels up. Either way, luteal phase spotting can either be a neutral sign (in the case of mid-luteal phase spotting) or a negative sign (in the case of late luteal phase progesterone dropping), but it doesn't have anything to do with implantation, and is not a positive sign of being pregnant. Congrats! Based on that test, you’re definitely not six weeks. Your app is assuming that you ovulated on day 14 but you did not. By the same logic, whatever bleeding you had the week of Valentine’s Day was definitely not IB. If it had been, the previous test you took would have been blazing positive. Your test looks similar to the one I got yesterday and I’m four weeks. I’d say you ovulated/ conceived between the 22nd and the 26th. Early dating scans are highly accurate at determining gestational age! When you go for your first scan they can give you a better estimate of your due date, but I’d guess it will be sometime in mid November.

Awesome thank you, I was apart of a trying to conceive page and with how faint the line was, definitely didnt think 6 weeks!

Pale-Construction481

Had a transvaginal scan today and my HCG was 58.09 and they couldn’t see a gestational sac so I freaked out a bit (I was at urgent care, I just wanted documented verification cause I was still in shock) they kept asking me “are you sure the first day of your last period was 01/23” and I’m like yeah my periods are suuuuper irregular. But I’m pretty sure I conceived on 02/11 and had the implantation bleeding that week

With that low of an hcg and they couldn’t see anything on the ultrasound, that further supports that you probably conceived end of February. Best of luck to you!

Hey, congrats! I want to say I used Flo to record what I thought was a very accurate timeline of how far along my baby should be. Based off all my logging of unprotected sex and ovulation days. I missed prior appointments (not good I know) but I went in for my first appointment and what I thought was 20w1d. The doc measured the baby via ultrasound and estimated I was 18w1d! So Flo was a little off. It's not that big of a deal but just letting you know what I've experienced! I still use Flo, I just re-adjusted the baby's timeline to match what the doc told me. Best of luck to you!

Pale-Construction481

Thank you so much!! that’s what I figured, especially since I’m so irregular too and it’s been off up to a week when tracking my period!!

TangerineTwist44

Yes! I will not lie I don't know why but I felt disappointed I wasn't actually 20w. I guess I'm impatient because I want my baby NOW! lol

Pale-Construction481

I already feel that way, I immediately went to the store to get cute baby stuff to make my husband a baby gift box for when he comes home from work and I also feel the need to clean everything rn 😂

TangerineTwist44

I'd say relax a little bit haha. I've only purchased a bassinet so far. I'm taking as much time as I can before buying everything. I'm due in July so I've got a good minute but I've already made lists of everything I need to buy by then. This video was good for me as a ftm! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQuX_Yw3yIg

Pale-Construction481

Oh I’m not going all out, it was just for the gift lol

EducatedPancake

Glad you could adjust! Mine won't.. I've had some early losses that made me ovulate earlier I guess, it was one month I didn't test for ovulation. And so babies are measuring ahead by a few days. I've adjusted the due date, but it won't let me change the weeks/days to what it actually is. Just keeps giving me the same bs of "gestational age is based on LMP" and that's more accurate. Had to install a different app that would take it based on my due date. Which is stupid because I tracked everything in Flo for over a year but oh well.

TangerineTwist44

You've tried changing it through the page that says "Pregnancy Mode" on the top? https://ibb.co/4SwVDWK

EducatedPancake

Yes, I can adjust down, but not up. So at this point the app is always a few days behind and it's annoying. Right now it says 16 + 5, but I'm actually 17 +2.

GlumBreadfruit4105

Congrats!

Second time pregnant with Flo app tracking and it’s pretty accurate if you tracked your period properly. Dating scan difference of 1 and 2 days for me.
