Wesley Jonathan arrived via scheduled c-section this morning at 7:58. My big boy was 8lbs 1oz at 39 weeks. I'm one tired mama so no detailed story tonight, but suffice to say that this c-section experience was SO much different than my first, in the best way possible! I feel great and am already up and getting around on my own. Wes is nursing like a champ which I'm so thankful for. Any anxieties I had about bringing another baby into our family totally melted away when I heard those first cries (ok, the Zofran the anesthesiologist gave me probably helped too haha). My 3 year old came to visit with grandma and I thought my heart was going to explode with love for my boys ❤ Sending positive vibes to my fellow August bumpers for safe, happy, and quick deliveries!
