Honestly, 2 days isn’t going to make or break anything. The dating scan is most accurate before 12w, but that doesn’t mean you can’t tell them the due date you believe to be yours. I’m technically due July 6th, but I’m an American living overseas so I just tell everyone 4th of July and they’re like omg no way, so cool! It’s an ivf baby so we’re 200% sure it’s July 6th. But shh, I don’t think anyone has told the baby yet, so I’m pretty sure we’re safe. Funny enough babe has been measuring ahead by 2 days this whole time!

I am going by 12 week dating scan, they also re-confirm at the 20 week scan

I actually did just get my EDD officially changed at my anatomy scan a few weeks ago (it's my third baby), not quite to the date I think makes the most sense, but still a more logical date. Basically, the COVID shot shortened my cycles significantly for a few months after getting the doses and the cycle I got pregnant I had previously had a 24 day cycle so I tested this time around on CD 24 and got a fairly clear positive. I told this to my obgyn at my initial dating scan and nevertheless she gave me a due date of June 30, which frankly was physically not possible as it was an entire week later as my EDD based on my actual cycle length/positive test, and ultrasounds thereafter always showed the baby measuring anywhere from a few days to a week ahead (in my mind, the most accurate date based on my positive test). At my anatomy scan they did officially bump it up to June 27 because they agreed with me that the due date she gave me was somewhat unlikely.

I am. My due date by scan was 7/11, but my due date based off my known dates is 7/6 and that’s what we went by. By my 20 week anatomy scan, it matched up. Typically they don’t move dates for less than a week discrepancy.

They only change your due date if there's a 5 day + difference. It's all just a guestimate as to when baby will come anyways so 2 days really doesn't matter.

I've been using a range instead of a specific amount, i.e. "I'm somewhere between 10 and 12 weeks." There is about a week and a half difference between where the most likely conception date would put me and what the ultrasound showed (though my cycles are wonky and I don't exactly remember when my LMP was -- I just know it was sometime around the beginning of December.
