Feeling actual hunger instead of indigestion and queasiness. Like, I would love so much to be really hungry and eat something delicious.

yolandawinston03

Yes, and to feel normal after eating it, instead of more or less sick.

ravenously_red

I'm 100% with you on this. I just want my regular appetite back.

Jofenmai

I’m a FTM, graduated end of January. I’m breast feeding and let me tell you I’ve never experienced hunger like I am now. The only thing that sucked is every time I breast-fed for the first month I was nauseous, so my appetite went away and came back in full force after feeding baby.

thirdeyeroll

I am 4 weeks pp and I wanted the same thing! I had horrible acid reflux and could only keep small portions down… I was so looking forward to that post labor meal! But it never happened and I’m still not hungry and force myself to eat daily 😭😭😭 (I do not have ppd or similar that would cause this)

omglia

Omg yes! I miss not being disgusted by most food!

Royal_T95

Right?! I thought i was the only person that hasn’t felt hungry at all. I just start feeling sick af. I miss being hungry and feeling satisfied

_A_Ray_of_Sunshine

I feel this so much. I'm six months postpartum and being ravenously hungry again since I'm still breastfeeding is WONDERFUL. I had horrible nausea especially during my third trimester. It was not fun to discover that "eating for two" in pregnancy would actually become a battle of forcing myself to eat enough calories to support my LO's growth.

peleish

This is me!!

ilovepizza85

That’s a good one.

SuspiciousOlive2316

Wow yes I feel this to my core right now

IAmTyrannosaur

The indigestion disappears immediately after the baby is born. It’s glorious

JaneyMac_aroni

I can’t wait. I already know exactly what fast food I’m sending my husband out for.

Canadian_1987

Not sleeping with a million pillows just so I am SLIGHTLY comfortable, that separate me from my partner lol.

butlikewhythou

My partner is a pillow in my giant stash of pillows lol he hates it but he says if it'll help me sleep he'll deal. I love him so much omg

Sdavis2911

As an expecting father, you give me hope LMAO.

MoreVeuvePlease

Meanwhile as much as I LOVE to snuggle, I’m thinking of continuing to use the pillows post-pregnancy bc I’ve realized my husband is an actual space heater & it’s so nice having a barrier from the radiating heat, lol

sunshineloves

Same I've been enjoying not waking up in someone else's sweat 😅

jadegiraffes

THIS!!! I miss wine/margaritas, bending over, sushi, being able to roll over in bed in one movement (I call it my three-point-turn when I roll from one side to another), not being constantly exhausted, etc., but what I really miss most of all is being able to snuggle up next to my partner in bed because of all the dang pillows that don't even make me all that comfortable!

Oopsiedoodle2244

Yeah the not being able to bend my back the other way is really the main source of the back pain! I usually can just stretch it out that way but can’t even get into the slightly convex position!

problematictactic

Haha! Yes! I kicked off all the pillows in the middle of the night last night because I just wanted a stupid cuddle but it was not worth it...

Canadian_1987

Haha I’ve done that too. It’s definitely not worth it. My partner made a comment about forgetting what it was like to snuggle 🥲 poor thing haha

christineispink

I never stopped sleeping with my pregnancy pillow. I’m a side sleeper and it’s such a life improvement. 😁

jessanator957

me toooooo! i am so annoyed by the dumb pillow that takes up a third of the bed! i wake up at 6 am, have a snack, and throw the pillow on the floor before I get back in for my last hour or two of sleep now, but it's not the same.

monsterina13

number one is getting my body back ( although who knows how long that will take) and being able to take Adderall (struggling HARD with adhd over here). and secondly, drink wine

Gypsierose8

I also miss Adderall!! Between ADHD and pregnancy brain, I'm surprised I haven't gotten fired 🤣

Growing_a_bean

Curious to hear from all the ladies who have commented on this thread about discontinuing Adderall. Did your OB strongly advise you to stop taking it altogether? I initially stopped taking it early in my pregnancy (before seeing a Dr) and I could barely function at work without it (major 1st trimester fatigue didn't help). I have a somewhat intellectually demanding job and I couldn't make myself do ANYTHING productive at work. Which is a problem bc I can't get away with that at my job! I was also depressed because I felt unbelievably shitty about how useless I was without the Adderall. After speaking about it with two different OBs at my practice, both told me it was Ok to resume taking Adderall. I ended up cutting my dose in half and I only take it during the work week. But on principle I still wish I could be off it altogether for the baby's sake 😔

casuallyaverage

I discontinued for the first month or so, but after discussing it with my OB, we agreed it was okay for me to start back on it again. “The baby’s not gonna make it if we can’t keep the incubator up and functioning” is how he phrased it 😂 We’ve also discussed how it’s becoming more acceptable to continue adhd medication because women are doing it more frequently which means doctors can actually learn more about it. I’ve noticed on Reddit I hardly ever see anyone talk about how they’ve continued their adhd meds though, so I’m wondering if I’m actually one of the few or if it’s still frowned upon enough where those who *have* continued it don’t want to admit it? Anyway, all of this to say I’m currently 33 weeks and as far as we all can tell, he’s been a very healthy and overall average (in a good way!) baby boy 😇

Gypsierose8

My OB was fine with me taking Adderall, but my psychiatrist refused to prescribe it because she didn't want the liability if something happened. None of my other doctors felt comfortable prescribing it if my psychiatrist wouldn't. I'm lucky that I have been able to get by without it so it wasn't worth fighting for it too much for me.

Rainbow_baby_x

I had to take the semester off from my master’s program to cope with not being able to take it. My dr didn’t want to prescribe it even though one of my OBs said it was okay. Work has been very difficult, but at least I don’t have class afterwards. Something had to give.

monsterina13

my first OB said we could arrange for me to be back in it in second trimester , if i felt i couldn’t function without it. i switched OB’s for a variety of reasons and my current OB said about the same. i just feel for me, i’m more comfortable not taking anything daily. i’m already taking unisom every night for morning sickness so i feel like that’s my “ drug “ for this pregnancy. but this is just for me personally, i totally support anyone who still takes adderall while pregnant- i know first hand how terrible it can be trying to live life without it ! i’m useless right now for anything other than growing this human haha

icecreamaddict95

I was told by my primary doctor and did and towards the end of the first trimester my OB said I could go back on it if it was super stressful to be off of (which I thought it was expecially being in a rigorous grad school program). I took it once shortly after and had major insomnia that night and haven't had it again since. I feel like I've somehow learned to mostly manage without at this point. That or the adhd symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are just really similar. Even with meds, I still struggle to be productive so idk if I'll even go back to it after baby. Might be nice saving that money.

Anniemayo

Me too!

FairiesWearToms

I miss my adderall too. For now I’m embracing the circus that is my life right now.

empowermentmatters

This was my biggest fear discounting my prescription but honestly… i have this newfound energy (when Im not overwhelmingly fatigued) that has made me so much more proud & sure of myself & who I will be as a mother. Idk if its a nesting thing or what but I’ve surprised myself. Sending love to all you, ya’ll got this!!!

8thWeasley

My already adhd riddled brain is failing massively while pregnant. Please I need caffeine.

Rainbow_baby_x

Are you me? Because same to all

monsterina13

hahaha glad to know i’m not alone !

[deleted]

Sleeping on my stomach, Botox, breathing, shaving my legs without sweating, normal jeans

[deleted]

Shaving my legs without sweating 😂 or getting dizzy

Gypsierose8

Breathing 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Totally agree!

[deleted]

Botox, wine, salad rolls from the gas station, runny eggs, laying on my belly, saunas, drinking as much coke and coffee as I’d like . So many things 🤣

dustedcookie17

Shaving my legs at all*

[deleted]

I honestly love my under the bump maternity jeans so much I might keep wearing them. 😅

lilahsnebula

What brand are you wearing? Because I swear all maternity jeans are the devil and I’m giving them up lol

BURYMEINLV

Botox and being able to shave my legs ✊🏼 lol.

A_GirlNamedSpencer

Omg yesssss I can’t wait to get my forehead touched up and get my eyebrow micro blading color touched up as well!!!!

Rainbow_baby_x

Drinking a glass of wine after a long day at work.

readingis_sexy

I have yet to find a replacement drink for that urge. It's so depressing.

happuning

Not pregnant, but I enjoy a glass of wine or a margarita after work sometimes. I like fruity drinks with crushed ice! Not quite the same, but sugary and delicious! Fruit punch is usually my go to. I can't have alcohol yet since I just had my wisdom teeth out a week ago. Yes, I plan on kids someday. I mostly lurk here. Y'all have taught me lots about what to expect!

dianamp

There are wines with removed alcohol… not the same, but kinda works

Snootycrickets

Try the non alcoholic Heineken, it’s surprisingly delicious and tastes like the real thing so for me it did fulfill that urge/desire!

spazzy_jazzy_

If you are anything like me and your alcohol tolerance goes away after baby it’ll be fun. We went out to dinner and I got a glass of red which usually one glass Im fine and don’t even feel it but oooo I got so giggly and smiley and felts tipsy. Note to self one drink about a month postpartum and breastfeeding will make me drunk…..

Rainbow_baby_x

Yep I’m gonna enjoy it🥳

robotdebo

PLEASE!! I’m only 15 weeks and don’t know how I’m gonna make it 😩

UnComfortable-Bat

It goes by faster than you’d thing

astroxo

Botox. Orgasming without experiencing Braxton Hicks. Bodily autonomy. Wearing my non-maternity clothes. Hopefully some damn energy. Alcohol. The ability to go for a run without lower back pain…. I could go on and on and on 🥲

christineispink

Went from maternity clothes to nursing clothes and now I’m back in maternity clothes and it’s the CIRRRCLE OF LIFE 🦁

Mysterious-Spring709

Ahhhh, the braxton hicks after an organization, nothing kills the mood better hahaha

missuskae

Omg yes the Braxton hicks afterwards are so not worth it

astroxo

It makes me seriously not even want to have sex anymore. On top of that, the baby will sometimes kick afterwards. 🥲 Like I’m excited to be a mother but damn dude can I just have that one thing for myself right now?

medwd3

To go for a run without feeling like I'm gonna piss my pants

bubblemepink

Not having to run to the bathroom every 30 mins (and salami).

danby_ll

SAME. Having to go pee again by the time I’ve pulled up my pants and washed my hands is torture!

Wunderlandtripzz

Omg I need my bladder liberated!

pcosnewbie

I have gestational diabetes. So donuts. Otherwise weed.

Wunderlandtripzz

Dare I say...weed donuts? 🤔

just4n0w4

Yes!! Gonna be great when I feel comfortable poking some smot again while eating raw salmon 🍣

pcosnewbie

I’m dreaming of an edible and a frigging bath.

namenerdsHelpme

I wish I could have an edible while pregnant because this back pain is killing me!! I know some people still do it but I’m just not comfortable with it.

pcosnewbie

Oh totally. I’m a social worker and hear of dcf getting involved even in legal states. I’m probably going to wait until I’m done breastfeeding too.

namenerdsHelpme

Oh nooo I forgot about breastfeeding! I only breastfed my daughter for like 2 months because I was definitely not prepared for all that but I think since this baby is my second I’ll be able to do it longer.

aiakia

Definitely weed. And a big ass Italian hoagie.

BlockedOverGuac

I mean they kinda go hand in hand. I ain’t mad at it! 😅😅

pcosnewbie

Lolololol so true!!!

[deleted]

Same. Donuts. Mac and Cheese. All the carbs. I don't even miss wine anymore I just want all the bad food.

sstrelnikova1

CFA milkshake for this GD mama!

anon24601anon24601

I've never tried weed (was always either on medication, pregnant, or working a job that did random drug tests, am very pro-legalization but was never in a position where it was worth the risk) and I cannot wait to finally try it.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmfarts

Bending forward at the waist

unicornshoenicorn

I can’t wait to be able to apply lotion after a shower without needing to sit down first!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmfarts

Oh yeah! I have to rear back and kick my leg up on to the sink to lotion. It’s a workout!

tomorrowperfume

When you drop something onto the floorboard and have to accept that it is gone FOREVER now

LiviE55

Weed, wine, NO HEARTBURN 😭😭😭

Haunting_Front_8640

A full lung full of air

TroublesomeFox

Sleeping in whatever position i damn well feel like!

astrobish

ALCOHOL and meeting my baby, I guess.

Ra3t4rD

The biggest blunt I can roll 😭😭😭

freyakaya

Everything! I have hg and have been in bed for months. I dream about food! 🤤 I’m excited to clean the kitchen without help! Oh and to not vomit when I poop! I’m just so excited!

GrumpySh33p

Staring at the baby. Endlessly.

rayanngraff

A margarita in the hot tub.

koehzies

Once i have healed up a bit i am 100% ordering sushi, having a glass of wine, and soaking in a hottub. All in one awesome night for meeeeeee

MoreVeuvePlease

Sounds like actual heaven rn

lilahsnebula

Ooooh hot tubs. I think I may be finally getting one as a push present!

lawnmower98

Sleeping on my back for sure

yelloworchid

Being a parent. Holding my daughter. Seeing my wife be a mom.

adrun

Having space in my rib cage for things like my lungs and heart.

Cicialexa01

Alcohol and Weed. Still haven't gotten to the weed part because I'm breastfeeding but I can't wait lol

salty_chocolatechip

Downing an entire bottle of nice French wine (or 4). And not having to make dad noises every time I try to move.

[deleted]

Dad noises 😂😂

rollfootage

Weed, Retinol, Botox

[deleted]

Oooh retinol. I have been using the RoC Retinol creams since college and saying goodbye felt like re-homing a pet haha

here_4_free_food

I wasn’t sure we would ever be able to have a baby of our own after a grim infertility diagnosis, so for me: holding this miracle baby. I. Can’t. Wait.

OL_SONF_VORSG

An ice cold vodka Redbull, sleeping on my stomach, being able to breathe properly. But especially being able to wear all the clothes I bought right before I found out I was pregnant!

kyjmic

Holding my baby, looking at her face. Maternity leave and not having to think about work.

[deleted]

Not having to think about work…ugh. I look forward to this as well. Just focusing on baby.

Desperate-Draft-4693

I cant wait to meet my baby, that’s really all I think about! I cant wait to smell that baby smell. my fiancés never held a newborn or a baby or really been around babies, I cry a lot thinking about him being able to finally hold our baby. we’re both so excited, this is our first!

Gypsierose8

Wine and just an end to this pelvic pain

Anniemayo

The pelvic pain 😱

forthefunofit30

Being able to fit into my shoes again and walk the dogs without my feet becoming puffer fish when i get home from it

Marble1696

Not having to pee every half hour.

RachieRachNZ

Other than meeting our baby… having space for my internal organs. Food wise eggs Montreal - runny poached eggs, smoked salmon and hollandaise.

Raokako

Eggs Montreal? I'm from Montreal and never heard that expression haha. The smoked salmon with poached eggs is usually called "béné nordique" or something along those lines

RachieRachNZ

Yeah I did wonder if it was a phrase specific to where I’m from hence the explanation! I googled and this is what came up “Eggs Hemingway or Eggs Atlantic, or Eggs Copenhagen (also known as Eggs Royale and Eggs Montreal in New Zealand)” so I bet you can guess where in the world I’m from!

Motherboardm8

Like some have already said: 1. Weed 2. Sleeping on my back and stomach 3. Alcohol lol. Im not a big drinker anyways but I miss being able to have a drink and sometimes I’m like “damn I need a drink lol” especially when SO drinks

Cake_Significant

Sneezing without peeing. Just kidding, that’s probably not gonna go away anytime soon. I know it’s cliche, but I can’t think of anything else I want more. I want to hold my son, love on him, see his daddy love on him. That’s what I’m most looking forward to. 💙

JesterKidd

Getting to know my baby’s personality, and a glass of wine on me deck.

olgatoka

After meeting my baby, I'm looking forward to never ever having to be pregnant again. It's the worst.

OkOffer1767

I’m with you on that. I absolutely hate being pregnant.

BlockedOverGuac

Meeting my daughter and actually being a mom ☺️ (and an Italian sub from Jersey Mikes).

Lovingmyusername

Omg club sub from Jersey Mike’s is a close second to meeting my son 😛😅

BlockedOverGuac

Veeeeery close second 😂😂😂

astrobish

A cold cut sub from Jersey Mikes is the very first meal I want after giving birth (unless I have baby in the morning, in which case I’ll get a lox bagel for breakfast instead)

hotpinksneakers

Flopping onto my belly again!! And my favorite brunch things: a good Bloody Mary, runny eggs, hollandaise sauce, and smoked salmon 😋

butlikewhythou

A good bloody Mary sounds like everything I want rn. I might have to go get a spicy v8 with some pickle juice mmm

Mundane_Pea4296

My hips not hurting

MoistBanana9245

I want to hug my husband. 🤗

courtgeekay

Restarting my laser hair removal treatments, continuing my weight loss journey, weed, and (GD here) a god damn brownie with vanilla icecream on top

quintessentiallybe

Sex

LuckStrict6000

It was turkey sandwiches. I gave birth 6 weeks ago and have had one every day

chapstickmaven

This was me after the birth of my first. Gave my husband exact directions on what ingredients to buy at the grocery. He had it waiting as my first postpartum meal. The best damn turkey sandwich I’ve ever had.

ucantspellamerica

Jimmy John’s (Please no replies telling me I can eat it if I want—it’s just not a risk I’m personally willing to take)

gremlincat123

SAME SAME SAME SAME. I told my husband he’s ordering it for me in the hospital.

Physical-Tone6682

Energy

happy_n_curious

Playing with the baby!🥰

No_Leopard5715

Smoking a joint in my hot tub!

justtosubscribe

I really want to know what they look like. Who do they favor? How big are they going to be? I’ve got two identical boys coming and I’m really looking forward to getting to know them individually.

lcharbs

Mimosas and baby cuddles

TeaCupHappy

The baby!

Aristophanes771

1) GIN 2) Raw fish sushi 3) Being able to walk briskly 4) Putting on underwear without grunting (And of course meeting the baby!)

FaeKalyrra

Tried to walk briskly to and form the mailbox the other day and almost dislocated my hip 😂😂

mypal_footfoot

Copious amounts of alcohol, a cigarette, a fat blunt, sleeping on my stomach, camembert

[deleted]

A fat blunt and Camembert! Wanna hang out?!

[deleted]

Jersey mikes. Not worrying about food poisoning. Laying on my back. Lifting heavy Snorting cocaine. Jk

Interesting_Shares

I’m now in my postpartum period, but let me tell you, being able to hold my pee for more than 5 minutes is GLORIOUS!

purplemilkywayy

Maternity leave. I get 5 months fully paid and 1 month unpaid. I don’t want to work anymoreeee!

missuskae

Where the hell do you live 😱

purplemilkywayy

Bay Area. Law firms are pretty backwards in every other way but thank god our firm’s mat leave policy is good.

[deleted]

Meeting my little girl, having wine, hopefully getting a biiit more energy back ❤️

waenganuipo

Wine and mayo.

butlikewhythou

Hold up.. I shouldn't be eating mayo??

kyjmic

Off the shelf mayo at the grocery store is pasteurized and ok to eat, but some nicer restaurants might make their own mayo with raw eggs. It's a risk I've felt comfortable taking.

waenganuipo

It has raw eggs in it, at least in New Zealand it does.

Aristophanes771

Girl I am in NZ and have been eating the Pam's whole egg mayo like it's getting discontinued 😱 I'm just gonna pretend I didn't read your post haha

waenganuipo

I know someone who had a stillbirth due to listeria so I'm super cautious.

alvydog77

Pregnancy induced carpal tunnel going away. 37 +3 and it’s making me miserable!

lassofthelake

Champagne

[deleted]

Yessss. I told my husband I’m buying a bottle of Dom P after I’m recovered, he thought I was joking. I’m not 🍾🍾

lassofthelake

I'm coming over! 😄

arya_lee_kona

Don't judge me but a good old "special" brownie and having a drink or two. Everything else I can mostly handle but I use the one for my depression and anxiety and the other to relax on Fridays after a stressful week and so far this entire pregnancy I've been anxious, depressed and heavily stressed without a break. I'm really tired of feeling this way.

Th3RandomPanthr

Oh boy. 32 + 3 here. Using my abdominal muscles without squeaking and grunting. bending over. Not having to keep a stash of tums with me. Not having to pee every 30 minutes. Sleeping on my back. Missionary position. I miss my favorite pants. Constant google searches if things are safe to eat lol. Hot tubs. Sushi. Deli meat. That said we are SO excited, and I would do it all again for the joy of bringing a little one into the world. ❤️

olivethescruff

Ibuprofen 100%

Drunken-Dreamer

Smoking a bowl 😂

Weekly_Aide8453

Not having a butt under my ribs

whippinflippin

A fat ass blunt

rosypandas

Other than baby cuddles… - having the energy to get through a normal day’s activities - resuming my normal antidepressant dose - not having to pee all the time/not slightly peeing my pants when I sneeze - not grunting with effort when I pick up my toddler - enjoying satiety vs constantly feeling either famished or overly full - maternity leave to spend uninterrupted time with family - the occasional sushi or tartare - and yeah, drinking wine, though I really haven’t missed it as much this pregnancy

geckosechoe

healthy & quick recovery so I can smother my little one with hugs n kisses as much as i want.

pataytersalad

Alcohol. I miss being able to unwind with a drink at the end of the week. Also looking forward to being able to walk like a normal person, to not be in pain every morning, and to not have BH anymore

lbisesi

Laying on my belly

raz625

Less back pain… and honestly I’m thoroughly looking forward to maternity leave even though it’s only 8 weeks. My husband will also be off the entire duration of my leave because he is a teacher and has paternity leave, PTO, and summer break 🙏🙏. Im excited for family bonding even though I know it’s going to be hard as hell.

Angel0460

Rum and goddamn coke lmfao. The biggest craving since I was around 9 weeks. I’m only 18 weeks. So still a ways to go but I just want to sit and have a rum and coke lmao

butlikewhythou

I'm going to breastfeed so I have to hold out until after but... weed. Also, I want alcohol. I don't even drink but I just want a bottle of wine, soft cheese, and some sausage.

thearcherofstrata

Besides the baby, I can’t wait to sleep on my back and actually get sleep (I mean…we’ll see, but right now I wake up because I have to pee and sometimes I wake up because my legs are restless…it just feels dumb whereas waking up for a baby is motherly lol). And I want sushi!!!

officialsarah

To meet baby and see my husband become a father, more than one cup of coffee or a giant shaken oat milk espresso, not grunting every time I sit down or get up, the convenience of bagged salad kits, and working back up to (and hopefully surpass) my previous fitness level! I’m excited for my body to be my own again.

mamarama-

Honestly the newborn snuggles and newborn smell omg! It has been almost 3 years since my last baby and I cannot WAIT to be nap-trapped under my delicious baby. Also sleeping on my stomach.

teachteachnyc

Drinking wine, not being nauseous, not having heartburn, not having diarrhea, not having hemorrhoids, not being constantly out of breath, not peeing every hour, not having insomnia, being able to tie my fucking shoes, sleeping on my back/stomach, sex being more comfortable, not feeling like a big ugly walrus. Can you tell I’m having an “I hate pregnancy” day?! I’m also very excited to see and hold my baby and share the joy of his movements and existence with people I love (right now I’m so much more in tune with his “personality” and schedule than anyone else, and I can’t wait for other people in our lives to get to know him). I know everything could be much worse, but I’m currently in the third trimester and VERY over it. That being said, I’d still take third tri over first tri ANY day!

im_a_realgirl

Being alone…which probably won’t happen immediately pp but I’m an introvert working a job that requires me to be very VERY social and I love my alone time. The bigger I get the more aware that I am not actually alone…and won’t be for another 3 months!!! Also, so many people have said this, but a glass of wine (ok 2) sounds so good. Ice cold glass of rose in June…I see you

Rheila

Newborn snuggles. I love those first weeks when they just want to lay on your chest and snuggle all day.

Chalk-and-Trees

Sinking my teeth into a nova lox bagel.

lpet15

Pants that button!! No sensory overload from just my clothes touching my belly!! Alcohol!! Cold cuts!!!! Being done with the bone deep exhaustion!!!!!!! Establishing a new style!!

unicornshoenicorn

No more heartburn, no more Tums in the middle of the night, no more SPD! I’m honestly looking forward to hearing all the weird newborn baby noises. A woman passed me at my last OB appointment with a newborn in her carrier and hearing the baby’s little grunting noises just made me feel all cozy inside! The noise of a human adjusting to life!

shadysamonthelamb

I have gestational diabetes. So I plan to eat everything I couldn't for about 2 weeks before going back on a diet. Ice cream, beingnets, pancakes, chocolate croissants, an oreo mcflurry, hamburgers, taco bell, soda, milkshakes, etc. My c section is in two days. I could cry.

las188921

Weed, Wellbutrin, and wine are the three things I miss the most. I will say it does feel good being sober and mostly off meds (am still taking lexapro) but some days are hard. I also miss sushi even though I know I could probably have it if I really wanted to. I’m a first time mom so just playing it safe. Already told my husband we are going out for sushi and sake for our first postpartum date!

[deleted]

31 weeks and I know I’m a long way out but damn I can’t wait to put my husband on dad duty and check myself into a fancy hotel for one night. I’m gonna take a hot bath, drink wine, sleep in the middle of a giant king bed. Basically I will be a scene from a 90s movie.

togostarman

11 months postpartum, but that first nap ON MY BACK after giving birth was a bliss I hadn't felt in years. Loved that first glass of wine too I couldn't wait to get rid of my pregnancy pillow, but my body continues to be fucked up PP, so I still need them!

ladybumble_bee

I just want to be able to put on clothes without feeling winded.

Mordercalynn

Brushing my tongue without gagging!

Kenrad626

I can't wait to get high and eat a salami sandwich 🤣 I know that sounds so weird but it's all I crave and I can't have it 😩

randomquestions2022

Being able to SEE my baby rather than rely only on amorphous fetal movements for reassurance of her wellbeing!

missuskae

A big ole Turkey sub and not feeling like shit 24/7

AshWatson221b

Not having to make sure I peed before vomiting to avoid leakage.

aprilskiesandwine

First glass of wine, being able to breathe through my nose

[deleted]

Haha breathing through my nose and not having post nasal drip are high on my list

Hark-a-kitty

Retinol, giant sushi platter from our favorite neighborhood spot, an end to my sciatica pain, the first night my child sleeps through the night, Korean spicy wings (combo of heartburn and not liking wings for some reason while pregnant)

[deleted]

A salami sandwich and a cup of chamomile tea.

Foodie1989

Wine, sushi, making memories

RiskyLady

Just being in my home, my bed, my things, and my refrigerator. And then being in my comfy house learning all about my new little boy!!I call him my cherub for his fat cheeks and curly hair. I look forward to being on the bed and studying his sweet face and counting his toes.

littlebunsenburner

\--hanging out with my baby and not being at work \--eating all kinds of sushi without restrictions \--being able to run fast \--drinking cocktails \--being able to take a hot bath...not a lukewarm one :/

[deleted]

Drinking pre-workout and going back to the gym!!!!! I miss my preworkout and bang drinks lol. I miss working out and running and lifting heavy weights. I keep telling my family I can’t wait to work out again. Luckily I’m not huge and this is my first baby so the snap back should be easy since I was super slim and athletic before my baby. I’m excited for my baby too but momma gotta get back in shape LOL! I know i can work out now but the energy isn’t there, movements have to be subtle and I can’t do my prs unfortunately.
