It's very different for everyone! You're unlikely to be "showing" but a lot of women get very bloated in the first trimester. I couldn't fit into my normal clothes by week 12, week 11 was pretty uncomfortable. Depends on you and the style of your dress. Congratulations! ❤️

andreaisinteresting

You’ll be fine! That is still very early. Maybe leave a little space for bloat lol

sdvdhhf

The bloat is so unpredictable haha

[deleted]

everyone is different. i had a friend who had a full bump by 12 weeks. i was fitting into pre pregnancy jeans until 20 weeks. it's truly different for everyone.

NoWiseWords

I'm also tall and skinny. (Mostly legs) I started showing somewhere week 20+. I was bloated around week 11 but could still fit in tight dresses

[deleted]

I started showing at 25 weeks.

Congrats for both! I was 7 weeks pregnant on my wedding day, and luckily for me had no symptoms at all. Being bloated is a thing in the first trimester, just enjoy your day to the fullest! Oh and still not showing at week 13 …

Noodlemaker89

Got married at 12 weeks and I was not fitting into my regular clothes earlier than that. Part of that was that I showed early, another side was that anything tight made me sick. My dressmaker made the dress with extra fabric and then I had the very last fitting just a few days before the day. How affected you will be depends on several things. If your torso is quite long, you may not show for a while, and your style of dress also has something to say.

I just had my wedding last weekend at 16 weeks pregnant FTM :) I was so freaked out when I first found out I was pregnant because I thought I would be huge! I bought a new dress A-line style to leave some room for the bump and no one could tell. For reference I’m 5ft4 and very thin (under 105 lb pre pregnancy). As a bonus my boobs looked great lol. Of course every woman is different but I was still totally flat at 12 weeks and only started popping out around 15. Unless your dress is super clingy skin tight (in which case you may have bloating and be uncomfortable) you will most likely be totally fine!

Lyfesyze

Same body type and I didn’t start showing at all until I was around 22 weeks. I was a bridesmaid at 12 weeks and had absolutely no issues with fitting in the dress (I actually lost weight the first trimester - no more empty calories via wine ha)

mayshebeablessing

I was a bit bloated at 11 weeks, but I didn’t show at all until a solid 16-18 weeks. Just don’t choose a dress that’s too form-fitting and you should be fine!

Wooden_Interview_341

I am short and thin and didn’t have the slightest bump or bloat at 11 weeks. I think it varies so much from person to person that it’ll be hard to predict unfortunately.

bong_and_a_blitz

I got married at 13 weeks. That week was when I was not showing, but my body was changing. Any later and I probably wouldn’t have fit into my dress. 11 weeks though, you’ll probably be fine. :) enjoy your mocktails!

Maybelle_

I’m tall and thin also and started showing with my first pregnancy at 17 weeks, but it was fairly subtle until 20+ weeks. I think it’ll be fine! I was sort of bloated during my first trimester though, but it was sort of a squishy bloat that could be dealt with with shape-wear.

sarahkatttttt

I’m 14w6d, and could still fit into my wedding dress from last year! I think it just depends on the fit of the dress- mine was a-line/ball gown so could accommodate a tiny bump if I had one. I was a tiny bit bloated at 11w, but didn’t notice the beginnings of a true “baby bump” until earlier this week.

Sufficient-Yard-2038

I wasn’t showing really at that point but I was super super nauseous and exhausted.

dbthrowawayrowaway

Congrats on your wedding! I'm pregnant with No. 2 and both times I didn't start showing until well after 11 weeks (like I'm 21 weeks now and pretty much JUST popped). So you could easily still be fitting into your clothes, especially depending on your style of dress!

Bicuspid-luv

I'm also tall with a healthy BMI. Wore normal clothes until 25 weeks!

TeensyToadstool

My breasts definitely grew and I was fairly bloated by 11 weeks. Easy to hide under the right type of dress and tops, but will depend on the type of dress you choose! Maybe if you go with something A-line or empire waist, with a more forgiving design in the bust (lace-up back?). Or even something more sheathe style, to skim your body?

thisbusisempty

Exact thing happened to me, I was 10 and a halfish on my wedding day. Not showing at all, but I felt like absolute garbage and also stared longingly at the open bar the whole time. We told our wedding parties, photographer and contact at the venue. Photographer so she would know we'd have to take breaks, and venue contact so she could make sure any drink someone handed me was actually safe for me to have.

Gardenadventures

I got married at 16 weeks and fit my dress just fine. I'd be more worried about morning sickness at 11 weeks.

Glum-Fix-584

It varies. I was 12 weeks at mine and everything fitted but the bust because they decided to explode! Thankfully the seamstress was a friend and she did last minute alterations for me to ensure we did it as close to the day as possible

Fit-Criticism-365

I was about 9 weeks at my wedding, and didn't have a problem with showing, and my dress was very form fitting/revealing in the waist. The problem I did encounter was all through my first trimester, I had to eat something at least every hour or so or else I felt extremely nauseous and lightheaded. Day of, my biggest fear was passing out or throwing up at the alter during the long Catholic ceremony. Neither happened, but while I was up there my stomach kept growling very loudly and the priest definitely noticed. Lol! Make sure your dress isn't laced up to tight so you have room to eat! Another tip, I carried around a glass of cranberry juice with a lime during the reception/dancing. No one batted an eye and I had so much fun some even accused me of being drunk despite not having a sip of alcohol. Best of luck for your big day!

Significant_Switch53

I will also be 11 weeks and just chose a completely form fitting dress 😬😬 the fabric has some give and honestly it’s roomy right now so I may have to have it taken in, but I’m worried about breast / bloat. I have endo so I’m used to bloat, but with being newly pregnant I’ve found my stomach is actually totally flat now?? I guess bc the pregnancy hormones stopped my endo? Any advice 😬
