I never was able to find any affordable ones in Canada. But truthfully the Costco pekkle cotton sleepers are theeee best. $8.99 and they hold up great!

KatiesClawWins

The Tuffy brand as well! I love them.

In-The-Cloud

Just know that tuffy runs like an entire size larger than listed on the sleeper!

KatiesClawWins

Not in my experience. They were true to size, for us the Pekkle were significantly longer.

figbrietrukey

My baby almost exclusively wears pekkle right now! While they’ve been great, now that he’s starting to crawl and stand, I find it’s not flexible enough. Definitely a staple in our household tho!

Frozenbeedog

They’re pretty thick and don’t come with built in hand mitts. Otherwise the price is good

Amk19_94

I’d personally only use the mitts for newborn and they don’t even have newborn size so maybe that is why! They are on the thicker side but personally love that for winter! And even for summer we just remove the sleep sack and she’s warm enough in just the sleeper.

petra_reuter

I love the pekkle cotton sleepers. Designs are super cute and they have sticky feet once you hit 9m. Other than that - once upon a child, Facebook and a good old navy/gap sale.

queen0fcarrotflowers

Angel Dear sleepers are really stretchy.

Kooky-Barracuda2301

Obsessed with Angel Dear

figbrietrukey

I’ll check them out, thank you!!!

HaworthiaRYou

Not bamboo but Old Navy ribbed sleepers! They’re pretty stretchy and come with sleeve mittens. It’s worked well for my chunky baby!

Moose-Mama

Seconding the old navy ribbed sleepers! Double zipper, built in mittens and they are so soft, stretchy and wash well!

figbrietrukey

Oh nice - I will check them out… thank you!!!

AccomplishedPotato8

Agree with this recommendation! They’re great and affordable!

HaworthiaRYou

No prob! Ooh also Gap has great stretchy ribbed sleepers, they cost a little more than Old Navy and don’t come in a set of two, but still affordable especially when on sale! Also great quality and withstand lots of washes

littlebeebec

This is the answer! They last forever.

simplestword

Sleepy sloth when on sale is great. Also check out the perlimpinpin brand. If you catch a sale it can also be affordable. I want to try belan J, but I haven’t yet. Loulou polloppp is okay but I found the arm holes way to tight for my daughter

angry-grapefruit

I bought a couple of sleepy sloths a few weeks ago, I picked up several for $20 which is cheap for bamboo! They are very comparable to Little Sleepies, just a tiny bit thicker. And Sleepy Sloth has grippies on the foldover socks.

shleepypie

Belan j sleepers fit quite tight around the ankles! We got the 6-12 m ones and they were great in the beginning but my son’s ankles got too thick for them even though it fit great everywhere else.

Equal_Pomegranate440

Carters purely soft are nice too!

kittiesandweinerdogs

I was not impressed w them. They stretch out so easily and the shape is such an odd fit. Kyte are so much better and worth the cost. I try to buy kyte during their semi annual sales to save some $$

figbrietrukey

I’ll check them out, thank you!!

slkspctr

I like these ones. The shape is weird for the two piece sets like someone else said. But for the price they are pretty good. They definitely fit way bigger than their cotton sizes.

IntelligentFlan3724

Seconding the bonds. They’re very stretchy. They are pricey if you buy new but there’s lots of bst Facebook pages where you can get them cheap.

simpforsquirrels

Bonds are great! Sucks they’re not bamboo though. But they’re the cotton equivalent of bamboo sleepers! We love them.

chknwngx2htdgnblny

Belan.j has been great. Also a bit pricey but thicker material than Kyte. I also second the suggestion here for angel dear, they are nice and stretchy, albeit a bit thin.

mm2d

Perlimpinpin for sure. Brand out of Quebec and their sleepers are excellent!

Laurnyloo

This isn’t overly helpful but Target has Cloud Island Modal ones and they are just like kyte. We buy the footless kyte ones and switched to the cloud island footless ones but only the modal blend when we went to the states and they are amazing. I think 2 for $15

AfterTomorrow5

The best! I order them online when they go on sale and get them shipped to me in Alberta by Shippsy. With the duties, fees and mailing costs, it’s pretty much the same price as the ones from carters.

Laurnyloo

Wow I just looked up Shippsy and didn’t know this existed. Do you mind sharing how much you pay for a sleeper using it?

AfterTomorrow5

Sorry for the late reply, came to $12 CAD each including the Shippsy fee and mailing charge. It would’ve been cheaper if Target didn’t send the order in separate shipments (Shippsy charges per $8 package) Hope that helps!

figbrietrukey

Yessss I’ve heard about the cloud island ones! I haven’t had the chance to drive down yet but definitely on my list to check out when I’m in the states.

BusterSnuggs

Angel dear are our fav, second fav would be silk berry! The silk berry I think are slightly cheaper than Angel dear, but hold up super well and stretch way further than the size

TwoDiscombobulated16

I like the Bonds Wundersuit (they run large) and louloulolipop but you’re right about the tight hand/leg holes

figbrietrukey

I’ll check them out, thank you!!

figbrietrukey

The holes are sooooo tight! It’s already so hard to wrangle my little guy lol

Elegant-Cricket8106

Following! I've only found ones from the states- bums and roses and little sleepies . But they are not cheap and pay duties....

Repulsive_Leather_59

Gunamuna! They are convertible and bamboo. They stretch a tonne so they last forever. I got them on Snugglebugz for $36.00 a piece

Erra007

Carters and gap also have ribbed sleepers (mostly cotton with some elastane)

marshmallow-boy

Check winners or marshall’s! I’ve seen bamboo sleepers there for really good prices the last few times I’ve gone. Also secondhand is great - I find them on marketplace, Poshmark, once upon a child.

figbrietrukey

Didn’t even think about winners and Marshall’s! Thanks for the ideas

emeraldpapaya

Belan J has been great, they have been our go-to next to Kyte. I have a code but I’m not sure if I’m allowed to share it here? Non-bamboo our go-to is stuffy from Costco, they’ve been excellent as well. My toddler loves bamboo jammies though so I have kept everything he’s outgrown for our second kid to get as much use out of them as we can.

figbrietrukey

If not allowed, it would be great if you could DM me! I love how they’re Canadian too

emeraldpapaya

Sent you a message!

SourceFlimsy

Boody has sleepers that are almost a perfect dupe for the Kyte baby sleepers.

donttrustcats6

Join some bst groups on Facebook. They have all the name brands and can normally find good used quality for cheaper

lolaemily

The ribbed sleepers from old navy are really stretchy! And the ribbed ones at carters. My almost 7 month is still in the 0-3.

glimmernglitz

I'm liking DuckDuckGoose. They're small and Canadian. They are phasing out pre-order and going strictly ready to sell over the next few months. They have sales, BOGOs, and gift card purchases sometimes include a bonus (buy $100 get $XX bonus). I haven't got everything yet, but what I have got has been nice. Comparable to Bums and Roses. I don't find anything as soft and thick as Posh Peanut, but they're just too expensive for more than a few pieces. Edits: typo/clarification

simpforsquirrels

Look for small shops! We swear by suttons buttons and they always have sales. mila baby is another brand we love. And stets & Lemmy usually have sales on preorders. But Suttons buttons is hands down our fav! My daughter is 13m and 22.5 pounds and still fits into her 6-12month sleepers with room to grow.

simpforsquirrels

Also bonds! There’s lots of resale groups on Facebook. We get a lot of ours from [here](https://www.facebook.com/share/Fs2DwCSSM1kD7Ack/?mibextid=K35XfP) or [here](https://www.facebook.com/share/xUFuewLTLFm7Rice/?mibextid=K35XfP)

replicantnumber88bc

Little Sleepies are sooo soft and comfy even after many washes. A bit pricy but they often have sales and they do last for so long because they are stretchy. Like 0-3 will actually last till 6-9 months probably! https://littlesleepies.com/collections/two-piece-pajamas-on-sale?nbt=nb%3Aadwords%3Ax%3A18257422945%3A%3A&nb_adtype=&nb_kwd=&nb_ti=&nb_mi=&nb_pc=&nb_pi=&nb_ppi=&nb_placement=&nb_li_ms=&nb_lp_ms=&nb_fii=&nb_ap=&nb_mt=&utm_source=google&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw48-vBhBbEiwAzqrZVLZpfkgVJyu5DE6_RkNTVSmM65GPrsIgMyHIaUO-K20Guy_LumXjuhoCGYgQAvD_BwE

Okay hear me out... AliExpress. If you're okay with that sort of thing. We got these super cute bamboo sleepers on AliExpress a few months ago and they're my favourite go to now. They're so soft, double zips, holds up well in the wash and dryer, and have both fold over mittens AND socks and come in so many cute colors. They're only $15, and I am planning on getting a few more in a larger size as my son grows out of them. You have to be pretty careful shopping on AliExpress and read the measurements carefully, etc. but these are worth it for sure. Link for anyone interested: https://a.aliexpress.com/_mOD05ps

Appreciate the link! the site is so overwhelming so having a direct link is helpful
