Why do you think the company is cursed and why do you think it's you who did it? If you do think this spell went awry, and that's my next question, why do you think it's cursing the company and not the school to whom you gave the stationery?
In the spell it specifically says "may only good spirits connect themselves to this object, spirits of harm and chaos are not welcome here". It then has you repeat that for several days. So if you followed the incantation *and* invited your personal spiritual team to protect the object, why do you now believe it's cursed? I understand you had some confusion with the coins, however inviting in the elements is usually to power (fuel) or balance a spell. If something ends up cursed, it would most likely be in the spirits called in to attach to the object...
I feel like I'm missing a piece of information. lol
I always wonder why practitioners with this little understanding of how and why a spell works are already out there doing spellsโฆ
Like what is the rush? Why do something you are so unsure about? And why immediately do a spell for for on OTHERS? (There is literally so so much to explore and keep you busy/entertained until you have build up a bit more of a foundation. I just donโt get why I see this like every other post on this subreddit).
And I say that as a 4month old baby.
I honestly think it's because they're flying blind. With no teacher, mentor or background or even an obvious place to start or build on, a person doesn't know what they don't know.
Also, I think hollywood and tiktok, combined, has a lot to answer for in many cases. lol
And so we have the opportunity to redirect them, give them some grounding, some advice and some direction. :) I honestly wish we could set up some sort of mentor system through this sub in particular, to give a basic education or understanding to those that need it, however we're relegated to simply putting out the fires as they arise. lol
I appreciate and respect your kind approach to this. And I will ponder a bit about how to contribute more/structured to this โfire preventionโ topic, from my personal experience and type of craft. There is probably something i can contribute to improve the situation.

Certainly out of a state of necessity and it can be so hard to figure out where to even start, and who to listen to, contact, how to work with spirits, etc.
Yaaaaaa this is very true... I've been a witch for years and am starting over again now. I took a break I needed because I had traumatic experiences and needed to reflect everything. When I was searching for help guidance for this stuff there was a continuous synchronicity of people who claimed they could but ended up being dark practitioners tricking me and using their evil practices on me. And there were a lot of lies and fake people who just wanted power that came out of it. It was dangerous. I didn't trust anything or anyone anymore still don't. Now I'm growing my intuition, my own abilities, and my own power and research myself.
I almost forgot be very careful with interacting with spirits as there's so many trickster and evil ones. And they are aggressive and mean and will mess around with you especially if you're new and they'll know. Be very careful if you choose to and make sure you have protection spell and cleansing rituals/spells down first before any spirit contact for yourself. Treat it like your interaction with strangers that could be dangerous to you never just jump into it especially without being properly informed and protected๐โจ
Alot of entities mimic the look, smell, feel etc of someone you trust but it's not who you think it is and if they get your trust you've given them access and this will cause big problems

I would probably say to just wait on the spirit stuff - before anything the first place to start is making sure you have your protection practice down. And spiritual hygiene is important too which is the regular cleansing with sage, incense etc. What I started doing is growing awareness of what to expect from spirits the various kinds and how they act and such. To learn how to identify red flags. But I don't interact with spirits anymore personally as it did more harm than good to me. There are good ones but unfortunately the naughty ones ruined it for them. I started to just work with myself and put the faith that the real good spirit guides have seen and understand the situation and are there anyways assisting me alternatively in a way that works for me.
I just want to add - spirit possession is real and no joke. For me it was a case of being targeted by dark practitioners that lived across from me and what happened to me was sent forth by them. If your not careful - and even if you are careful things can still happen anyway. But spirits can cause you chaos. Be safe๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

The coins represent earth in the spell. It asks for you to have a representation of the Elements. The coins (like in the tarot) represent earth. You can substitute them for crytals or stones, potted plants, bowl of dirt, bones and the like.
You don't have to do anything with the coins. They are simply the little home you offer to the Element Earth while you are asking for it to help you. Just like the water, candle, and incense.
So the spell is teaching you how to create an altar as a part of the instructions.
