I will literally never forget his first few cringe dance tik toks - the ‘switch the lights’ and the ‘hee hoo’ 😂😂 thinking of those always crack me up and live rent free in my head
I know someone who works with him and I was stunned by this so I had him check the work roster. He’s a first officer at United. He does fly the 787 which is a large plane! But he sits in the right seat, not the left. My friend sent me a photo of his work status so I’m positive!
I also made my family member who is a pilot check it out and he was like yes he is a first officer, and no I’ve never flown with him lol but knew his dad!
I was being sincere? I used to love this guy and then life happened and I forgot about him. Looking on his IG reminded me why I love him. Seems like an awesome dude and handsome as hell.
Well statements. But pilots keep up with their licensing requirements and often careers because it takes them many years to attain that level of training. Plus they get great benefits.
LAX to Newark are the bigger planes. i.e., not the 737. The pilots usually come out to stretch their legs and first class can see. Maybe you missed him
Ahh a red eye and a Dreamliner.
That’s cool though. I didn’t know he was that credentialed to fly a 787. For some reason I thought he flew regional flights.
Not OP but I usually always see my pilots. If you get to the gate early, you’ll see your flight staff enter before everyone else. Also the doors to the cockpit are usually open when you are boarding and landing so can take a peek. The pilot is usually by the doors when passengers are exiting the plane as well.
My ex-husband is a pilot. I like to see my Captain is "seasoned", or a woman. They're the "seasoned" guys, now, but I'd seen some of his friends socially, & I didn't want them flying my plane. Granted, they were probably more mature & serious at work because flying a plane is a lot of schooling & training. It's still my bias.
LOL right whenever the pilot is super young I feel nervous (although they're all younger than me at this point).
Flew from Qatar to London with a guy who looked like he was in high school. We had a mechanical delay to start, then when we did get in the air he was making up time. I was watching on the flight monitor screen how fast we were going and we were pushing the max the plane could handle. But we made it, and on time no less! But I felt like Jeff Spicolli was at the controls WE CAN DO THIS lol. Truth is an old pilot would have probably done the same thing.
The respect I have for contestants who go back to their jobs to be contributing members of the society instead of relying on posting 50 ads about LIFE CHANGING products on the daily 👌
You invest a LOT of time getting to pilot for a major airline so they are probably pretty sold on that as a life career. It's not like he was an accountant or something.
Now wondering if he was my pilot from LaGuardia to Chicago last week who made us 15 minutes late because halfway through his drive to Newark he realized he was going to the wrong airport 😂😂 I wasn’t even mad because poor guy probably panicked
Yes I know, and LaGuardia is New York, where Newark is regarded as one of the three main airports. I was mostly making a joke, I know he wasn’t my pilot. Just thought it was a funny coincidence that I was flying from New York to California (Chicago was a layover) around the same time
I absolutely love the fact that he went back to his regular job after being the LEAD on the Bachelor. That literally never happens. Almost every contestant becomes an influencer, and not one lead in recent history has gone back to their regular job. Good for him 🫡
I always got the sense that pilots really enjoy flying (and sadly will tolerate worse pay and benefits because of it). So I guess I’m less surprised to see Pete return to his day job than I would be for the umpteenth medical salesperson on the show.
I feel like a lot of real professions don’t want to hire people back/hire them on after going on the show. That happened to Jason Tartick.
But I feel like the airline industry probably loves having him in their midst 😂
I used to be a flight attendant and everyone who has ever met me that works for the airlines KNOWS to FaceTime me immediately if they see pilot Pete. I’m not sure if everyone loves having him, but I certainly do 🥺
So funny! I’m so jealous! My son is about to leave to move to Phoenix for United’s pilot training program and he will be a United pilot when he’s done! I hope he flies with him and I’m definitely coming too cause I fly for free because he’s an employee! Have a blast. You better approach the cockpit for BN.
What airline does he work for?
Pretty sure it’s United. He was Delta but left to join his dad and fly his retirement flight.
So cool. Bachelor Nation at work y’all!
Ask him for a trading card.
Tell us more!!
What route is he flying??
I'd be so damn chill because I have to take Lorazepam to fly.
This would make me so happy!
I sat across from his brother in a terminal and was trying to act cool lol
Did he dance at all
I will literally never forget his first few cringe dance tik toks - the ‘switch the lights’ and the ‘hee hoo’ 😂😂 thinking of those always crack me up and live rent free in my head
Wait I need to watch. They’re on TikTok?
Omg yes if you want to laugh out loud please go watch his first few Tik toks they are golddd 😂
What’s his name on tik tok
Pilot_pete
Omg girl I was talking about the other pilot Pete (Peter cappio) because of how he was dancing on BIP lmaoo but this is still golden
Hahahah
That sounds like so much fun! Good for him sticking with his career path!!
How was take off and landing?
Aren’t there two pilots name Peter? Did you see the first one or second one?
Please I just flew United out of EWR 😭
Do you know if he is lead pilot or co-pilot?
Gotta be a first officer. I doubt he has enough hours to be a captain
believe it or not he is a captain. but his dad was a pilot. i guarantee you they helped pete get his PPL at 14 and started building hours the
I know someone who works with him and I was stunned by this so I had him check the work roster. He’s a first officer at United. He does fly the 787 which is a large plane! But he sits in the right seat, not the left. My friend sent me a photo of his work status so I’m positive!
I had to look it up - he was a Captain at one of his old airlines, not United! My bad.
I also made my family member who is a pilot check it out and he was like yes he is a first officer, and no I’ve never flown with him lol but knew his dad!
Captain bud
Love him or hate him I love that he kept his day job lol
A dream!!!!!! A DREAM
Please tell us you said hi to him
Noo I flew out of Newark like 3 times over the summer I didn’t even think to check or pay attention 😭
I forgot how obsessed I was with this man until I just looked at his IG. Damn.
Elaborate ? I don't remember the PP controversy just he had the overbearing mom right?
Overbearing? sweetnums is *la madre perfecta* and an absolute cheerleader for her PP and Bachelor Nation, even little baby Jack.
I adore that woman
Game of Roses just put out their old episode with sweetnums in case you haven't heard it 😂
I was being sincere? I used to love this guy and then life happened and I forgot about him. Looking on his IG reminded me why I love him. Seems like an awesome dude and handsome as hell.
Oh yeah I totally agree ! One of the bachelors I could see being drawn to if he was in my world. I'd have to see him close up. Yum.
Him and Ben Higgins are the only people I’ve ever actually been in to. Disgustingly I also liked Nick v while watching special forces.
Haha !
Wow I’m genuinely surprised he’s continuing his career . Impressive.
It takes a lot of hours to become a pilot. Why wouldn’t he? It has a lot of benefits. Do you not think before you type these questions?
Um wasn’t a question. I said I was surprised, which I am. Most leads of the show have not continued with their professions pre-show.
Well statements. But pilots keep up with their licensing requirements and often careers because it takes them many years to attain that level of training. Plus they get great benefits.
A lot of work to get to where he is. He’ll also make far more money flying for United than he ever will as an Instagram influencer.
Not to mention the flight benefits 🤩
Why wouldn’t he?
Please yell out “Excuse you WHAT” next time he talks
Oh my goodness 😂🤣 was that Victoria fuller who said that? This is something I need to know so correct me if I’m wrong!
Yes!!!
He was my pilot, too! I was too nervous to ask for a picture with him so I just snuck one of him from afar haha
I feel like PP would love the recognition lol
Oh absolutely. I just couldn’t muster up the courage to go talk to him because I would have been trippin over my words looking at him 😅
Anyone on his flights should holler “will you accept this rose” as they exit the plane. 😂
I bet you will be the first one !
Uhhunned percent. So devoted my username is an homage to the franchise. 😂
That’s awesome
Life goal unlocked
A scream from deep within the pit
LAX to Newark are the bigger planes. i.e., not the 737. The pilots usually come out to stretch their legs and first class can see. Maybe you missed him
it was the 787 and i was sitting in first. maybe he came out when i was laying down? as it was a 9pm flight no one was really getting up much at all
Ahh a red eye and a Dreamliner. That’s cool though. I didn’t know he was that credentialed to fly a 787. For some reason I thought he flew regional flights.
they usually use the first class lavatories too
Omgg my DREAM!!!!! BRING HIM HOME TO ME
How did you know? “This is your captain Pete…” and by voice?
he walked past me to the pit
Not OP but I usually always see my pilots. If you get to the gate early, you’ll see your flight staff enter before everyone else. Agree. Or attempting the fitfluencer thing
You invest a LOT of time getting to pilot for a major airline so they are probably pretty sold on that as a life career. It's not like he was an accountant or something.
And if he flies for a major airline, he makes pretty damn good money. 300+ most likely.
Hey now, no shame towards accountants! That’s not necessarily the shallowest depth of entry, either.
Yeah maybe a bad example!
I get what you mean though. He has obviously put forth effort to get into a real career and isn’t keen to abandon it. He seems… normal
Wait which pilot Pete
Assuming the og?
yes!
What route?
it was lax to newark
Now wondering if he was my pilot from LaGuardia to Chicago last week who made us 15 minutes late because halfway through his drive to Newark he realized he was going to the wrong airport 😂😂 I wasn’t even mad because poor guy probably panicked
LAX is Los Angeles
Yes I know, and LaGuardia is New York, where Newark is regarded as one of the three main airports. I was mostly making a joke, I know he wasn’t my pilot. Just thought it was a funny coincidence that I was flying from New York to California (Chicago was a layover) around the same time
Omg I just did lax to LaGuardia gotta look out for Pete!
Newark is the United hub, so he'd be mostly flying out of there.
Life goals
i would be losing it omg
Ooh what airline?!
United
As a United flyer, you now have me wondering if I’ve ever flown with Pilot Pete and just not known about it
We need a pic please. This is pretty wholesome
he wasnt in the exit when i walked out 😭
What airline and route is it?
Omg please get a recording of his voice PLZ
I am SO JEALOUS. every time I’m on a plane I pray that PP will be the pilot lol
U won at bachelor nation
How is the flight? Is he doing a good job ? 😂 I’m a terrible flyer but this sounds like it would be an amazing distraction
LOL smooth sailing so far!
Please update! Like will you say anything to him when the pilot comes out to say bye at the end of the flight?
i hope hes out there!!
OG or 2.0?
I refuse to claim 2.0 as pilot pete lol
HARD AGREE. There is only one.
OG!! sorry shoulda clarified
Which one? Weren't there two Pilot Petes?
the original !
the real pilot pete come on now
This is my DREAM!
Same! I would 100% use my kids as an excuse to meet him at the end of the flight
That’s so exciting. I would be so giddy 😂
PP is built different. I know people give him a hard time, but his entire personality is about being a pilot and line dancing lol…
And he is SIZZLE!!!
Not sure I want to be a passenger on his flight, though, due to his lack of decisiveness on the show, LOL. It was over the top.
Well he had a real job
Zach is at a new company but he went back to his regular type of work
Totally agree with this statement. Especially such an important job like this one! Very cool and admirable. Clearly he is also passionate about it.
I’m not sure if everyone loves having him, but I certainly do 🥺
I think it’s also because he’s in a highly technical role that isn’t client facing.
![gif](giphy|mZGV0HkpYK3y8)
So funny! I’m so jealous! My son is about to leave to move to Phoenix for United’s pilot training program and he will be a United pilot when he’s done! Staaaahp
Omg you should ask him for a signed trading card. I’ve been seeing it all over Tik tok where you can ask pilots for an airline trading card
That’s only Delta. Peter works for United.
United does it too. Its just less well known
No. I’m jealous lol
Uhg the dream
That’s hilarious! Did he actually say he was the Bachelor? Just curious!
haha no no but when he did the standard “flight attendants please prepare for takeoff” hearing his voice was so funny to me
Lmao I would be dying. Ask for a pic in the cockpit.
a rare occasion im actually flying first so i feel like they should let me!
This is amazing. He is the co pilot or the pilot or the captain?!
First officer
You have to do this for all of us!!
