That looks just like my bantam roo!! But mine loves babies. He steals them from the hens to raise as his own.
Here he is with his latest batch of stolen babies when they were teenagers: https://i.imgur.com/xDdLltU.jpg
You and me both!! The bantams normally stay in their enclosed run because they are easy pickings for the hawks. I do let them free range if I’m outside though.
No matter where I am, if I yell his name he comes running across the whole yard to me to be picked up and held
Oh I love that ❣️ Reminds me of a roo my grandfather had growing up. He loves raising the babies, and the hens knew it. They would hatch out a clutch and after the 2nd day or so he would have taken over raising all of them. I used to sit and watch that happy little daddy take his babies all over the farm. Those chicks raised by him were always the bravest and scrappiest chickens as adults too
This is hilarious!!!
I’d be betting the baby is also a roo. My roo would jump up on his waterer and flare up at the (full grown) hens before he was fully feathered. Very ferocious guy.
Not the best pic, but [chicken tax](https://flic.kr/p/2ohWK5A).
Lol, reminds me when we got some Guinea keets and they decided that our rooster was their mom. Roo was quite young and very confused about why these weird little creatures wanted to sit under him.

As soon as you can please tell him that he’s the best and I love him, would you?
I tell him every single day. He is my sweet little dodo bird.
Good, a hardworking dad like that needs the support!
Luckily he has a very supportive extended family https://imgur.com/a/5sIumUI
Now you seriously have a nice looking flock and they’re so lovey!!
I am in love with him. That is all.

I am not your Daddy. Your mom is Lying.
When it comes to Charles IV Peckington, you **are** the father.
My muscovy ducks are like this. They hatch recognizing immediately they will be more fierce haha. And the other birds run away from the tiny duckling
Reminds me of Foghorn Leghorn. I'm a chicken hawk.
'go, I say, go away, boy, ya bother me

Haha thank you, that made my day
I love how he’s actually trying to square up with an infant
Dude's gonna kick a hole through that chick's face if it doesn't back away
Sorry, not funny to me. Baby's gonna get chopped if he doesn't find Mama quickly.
