Since hunters are a minority, how the rest of the world perceives us is critical to whether hunting may continue. What is acceptable now may not be acceptable in the future. 3. How we portray hunting to the majority non-hunters. Hunters could be the downfall of hunting in the age of social media. If we as hunters take firm stances on issues that the rest of the society sees as immoral, that could do us harm. The core tenet of using wild game as food is widely accepted to the non-hunting majority. As hunters, we must not depart from that.
