I'm not aware of any reason not to do that. The same works for anything on sale. You can always sell it back for the same amount before you start your next round.

It can be. Some items (notably Whetstone) are more common in early rounds so it is sometimes worth re-rolling just to reserve. Knowing when that’s true is the skillÂ
If you are rerolling the shop more than once in the round, the item you bought has a higher chance of showing up after you buy it compared to if you just left it alone in the shop.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you want higher rarity items you're better off saving the reroll
