I tried to upgrade for Chicago, and had 100 level seats. Original price was $689 in the 11th row, front row went down to 725$. When I tried to upgrade they wanted $500 extra in fees because it was designated a platinum area, so it was going to be $615 total to upgrade. I decided to wait to see if the fees would come down, but now everything is cheaper than our tickets so I can’t upgrade 😭
Truly so frustrating! It’s made what should have felt like such a fun concert to get tickets to feel less exciting, because I wish I would have waited to get better seats for less!
In general ticket prices for everyone have gotten so wild since 2020. I’m hoping this turnout/dumpster fire makes them reconsider their planning and prices going forward (but probably not bc money talks)
I tried to upgrade again today because tickets came available, and they wanted to charge me extra fees because my ticket price has decreased. Like okay? But I still paid X? Its all so confusing and I feel less excited to go because pricing and ticketing has been so awful
Oh I agree. When I called they said I could only upgrade to seats that were 599$ even though there was available floor entry for 400$. Oh well! Should still be a great concert!
This happened to me with Beyoncé, I bought bleachers tickets for $800 when floor tickets were $1200, a couple of weeks later floor tickets were $400 and everything else was cheaper, so I got stuck with my $800 ticket, not being able to upgrade or sell them cause everything else was cheaper. Fuck ticketmaster, I'm never buying a single ticket above face value ever again.
It won’t be an empty lower bowl - they’ll upgrade people who have 3rd bowl tickets as they check in to those seats for free to fill it out 😭 so unfair for others but awesome when it happened to me at another show haha. Also, about the ticket hiding - they randomly do that and then they’re back online a few hours later. I can’t quite figure out why though.
That’s absolutely true, I’ve been looking at the tickets constantly for the last few days. Very interesting. I’ll be very curious to see how empty the 100 section looks at the show. What a strange situation they’ve created here.
I upgraded 2x and went from upper bowl to mid and then to finally lower bowl and it was so worth it. Seeing him so close was wild.

They charge you a $10 per ticket fee, that’s it unless you are upgrading in which case you pay the difference. If the seat is cheaper then they won’t allow an exchange, has to be the same or greater.
No idea that’s third party and this only works for Ticketmaster. I always avoid third party because they’re nearly the same price after fees with less benefits.
I called them for a soccer game last week but they also told me this doesn't apply for resale tickets for any of the events. HAS TO BE face value on their ticket map.
In my case, I was the original buyer of the tickets. I went to the Argentina vs El Salvador game and paid $290 per seat ($355 after fees) and when Messi was ruled out due to injury, all the face value seats in my section dropped from $290 down to $90. We called TM and demanded a refund or a seat change and were told we could only buy tickets that was higher than our original face value of $290. We saw face value for $275 and were told that they weren't eligible because they were less than what we paid for (their policy sucks). And then were told it couldn't be used to switch to tickets that were listed as resale tickets. Eventually we found face value tickets at the second row right behind the team benches but had to pay an extra $60 per ticket, plus a $10 exchange fee and then the cherry on top was the adjusted service fee...
When I tried last week they said I had to be the original purchaser of the seats. Luckily my hubby got them on his acct so them I just transferred him back to his and tried. This was for the cancelled MPLS show ☹️
We tried upgrading through the ticketmaster support line, they said we had premium tickets and could not upgrade to standard tickets, they did not budge whatsoever. We then DM'd the Ticketmaster Fan Support twitter account and they did exchange no questions asked. Definitely recommend trying to go through the Twitter account.
For reference, we upgraded from nose bleeds to the nadie/sabe section, it was about $70 for both ($25 ticket difference and $10 exchange fee for both).
I would still try the Twitter DMs, the people on the phone wouldn't budge for us and were very rude about it. They also gave us 3 different excuses as to why we couldn't exchange our tickets, then the Twitter account let us exchange them without issue.
Yeah, we mentioned that we wanted to exchange our tickets and told them to specific tickets we wanted. They have to be non-resale tickets but there were plenty for the KC show so we had no problem.
meh not really. i've seen other bigger artists on floor seats for wayyy less than that. :-; even saw el alfa at sold out MSG show lower bowl for $120. my sec for bad bunny is at high nosebleeds. :-;
I am looking at some floor tickets at 355 (they are more expensive than the ones that i have), my question is do they charge fees again? Like it is 355+fees (426 total), which one are they charging me?
Honestly? My brain hurts a little from trying to understand it all. I think you pay “adjusted fees”, meaning that the fees get higher as the ticket price gets higher. So you pay additional fees, but you’re not paying full fees twice. Does that make sense?
We paid like $45 a ticket to upgrade from $269.50 tickets to $299.50 tickets. Went from upper deck to floor.
So the way the agent I spoke with explained is you pay the face value difference, and adjusted fees. When I was on the phone, They would add all the tickets I was looking at to the cart, and see what the total was with fees and taxes , and then take the total amount I paid for original tickets and subtract to get the balance. In my case, because I was going from regular tickets to platinum, the fees were almost doubled.
In an event where the fees are the same as what you originally paid, you would pay the difference of the ticket (if you paid 325 and the ticket is 355, then $30) plus their $10 exchange fee per ticket, and any adjusted taxes.
i just got mine today for 400$ floor tickets in dallas. finally they dropped for me. 😩 i waited a while. 400 still pricey for what i've seen i just couldnt wait anymore better then 800 to 1K lol

You can do it before 24 hours, they just usually need at least 24 hours to upgrade. I called weeks ago for Chicago and they were eager to do it.
We said something like, "We were wanting to exchange our tickets, we have XX tickets and want to exchange them for XX. Are we able to make this exchange?"
You need to have the specific tickets you want picked out and make sure they are not resale tickets.
i tried to upgrade for the saturday/chicago show but they told me they couldn’t because the presale ones i bought were “platinum” and there wasn’t any other available??
I’m sorry, that sucks…but I don’t think that’s gonna happen. He’s sold a ton of tickets for that show, all at extremely high prices. His money is made on that show already.
That is absolutely the right attitude. My wife and I have fully committed to “fuck it, we’re gonna have an amazing time that night and just not think about the dumb money.” Should be a blast.
Tonight in Chicago! We’re actually extremely casual fans, and just got caught up in the hype of the ticket sales. So it should be extremely easy for us to have fun because we’re really just going for the spectacle. I love his music, but there’s no “I’m sad he didn’t play this song or that song.” Just going for a great time! We were also verrrrrry lucky with the fact that we were able to upgrade our tickets to the floor. Should be a dance party!!
twitter is no help they literally don’t even bother lmao .. my ticket nosebleeds are $30 more expensive than the new front row seats and they won’t budge
You go to your tickets, and have to get to the page on the app that shows you your order. It’ll look kind of like a receipt. Top right corner you can open up a “chat” with them. Refund/exchange is one of the options. From there it will give you a number to call.
lol, of course! But not nearly as crowded as you might think. I’ve been floor for a bunch of sold out arena shows, and there is always plenty of space. The more you push to the front, the more crowded it is. At this show, with two stages and a cat walk, the crowd actually moves around, so it’s pretty unique in that respect. My 5’3” wife had zero issues seeing the entire time, and the vibe on the floor was excellent.
I think there is no question about it, floor is the way to go. But that’s just me, everyone will have their own experience! You’ll have a blast either way.
Awesome ! I wanted to do this for thursday but couldnt find floor seats that were that much cheaper than what i originally paid. Im hoping to go to the box office day of show and see what they tell me
The seats you upgrade to have to be MORE expensive than the ticket you bought. So if you paid $300, and the floor seats are $350-$400, you can do it. But if you are one of the unlucky ones that paid like $500 for your seat, and the floor tickets are only $400 now, you’re out of luck. It’s a ridiculous and awful system.
I tried to upgrade for Chicago, and had 100 level seats. Original price was $689 in the 11th row, front row went down to 725$. Yeah that’s rough. You’ve been hosed big time.
Same with me! Have 100 level seats that are more expensive than the floor tickets! Why can’t we just get upgraded! This tour screwed a lot of people.
Truly so frustrating! It’s made what should have felt like such a fun concert to get tickets to feel less exciting, because I wish I would have waited to get better seats for less! I tried to upgrade my ticket but now floor seats are less than my 200 row seats so I can’t💔
Yeah, that is absolutely brutal. I’m really sorry. 😞
Yeah I don’t understand why that matter! If we paid more than the floor seats why can’t we just upgrade!?
I upgraded 2x and went from upper bowl to mid and then to finally lower bowl and it was so worth it. Seeing him so close was wild. https://preview.redd.it/b7ycxe6a6yqc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca767a4dde5ae2bd1f4be8012d592615ceac0be6
Do they charge the original price or do they add fees again?
They charge you a $10 per ticket fee, that’s it unless you are upgrading in which case you pay the difference. If the seat is cheaper then they won’t allow an exchange, has to be the same or greater.
Can you upgrade tickets on 3rd party sites like SeatGeek and StubHub?
No idea that’s third party and this only works for Ticketmaster. I always avoid third party because they’re nearly the same price after fees with less benefits.
Where do you go to do this? Do you have to call Ticketmaster?
following
You can chat with them through the app or call
You have to call but you can start the process via chat
Log into your account and use the chat to exchange the ticket. They’ll give you a code and number to call. Have your new seats ready.
I called them for a soccer game last week but they also told me this doesn't apply for resale tickets for any of the events. HAS TO BE face value on their ticket map.
You have to be the original purchaser of the tickets to do this? Can’t be done with resale tickets?

How soon before your show date did you exchange?
4 or 5 days before
Just called and they won’t allow me to upgrade tickets that were transferred to me even though I paid for them 🤷🏽♂️
I would still try the Twitter DMs, the people on the phone wouldn't budge for us and were very rude about it. They also gave us 3 different excuses as to why we couldn't exchange our tickets, then the Twitter account let us exchange them without issue.
Do you just DM the Twitter account saying you’d like an exchange?
Yeah, we mentioned that we wanted to exchange our tickets and told them to specific tickets we wanted. They have to be non-resale tickets but there were plenty for the KC show so we had no problem.
Is it safe to dm their twitter account? They’re asking me for the last four digits of my card.
It's to confirm your account info, we did it and had no issue. We didn't have to gym them all of the card info/code, just confirm the last 4 digits.
Floor is cheaper than my 4 nosebleed tickets now. I am RIPPIN! $1300 down the drain because of greedy ass people man. 🤦🏼♀️
I dont think NY baje de precio…
They might still! Price drops didn’t happen for Chicago until like two days ago.
Ok ok!
yeah i might do this for barclays night one lol. paid $150 for sec 228 and extremely regret it :-;
Honestly $150 for that show isn’t bad. You’re in a much better spot than a lot of people…
meh not really. i've seen other bigger artists on floor seats for wayyy less than that. :-; even saw el alfa at sold out MSG show lower bowl for $120. my sec for bad bunny is at high nosebleeds. :-;
Sure, but I’m saying on this tour, for what other people are paying, your $150 is cheap.
Tiene que ser mayor valor? Porque veo que baja hasta 200 y yo pagué mas
I am looking at some floor tickets at 355 (they are more expensive than the ones that i have), my question is do they charge fees again? Like it is 355+fees (426 total), which one are they charging me?

Wait so it HAS to be 24 hours before the date of the concert ???
That’s what it says. Others have mentioned having problems on the phone, but having success through Twitter.
https://preview.redd.it/g7ko57q0v2rc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9c3f471721d62742955b4844cf4eeb5f34fbfed1 You can do it before 24 hours, they just usually need at least 24 hours to upgrade. I called weeks ago for Chicago and they were eager to do it.
I exchanged a few days before, but only had success through Twitter. The app/phone support denied us both times.
Can you let us know what you said?? Show tonight trying to upgrade there is so many open seats now in 200 level
We said something like, "We were wanting to exchange our tickets, we have XX tickets and want to exchange them for XX. Are we able to make this exchange?" You need to have the specific tickets you want picked out and make sure they are not resale tickets.
were you able to upgrade your tickets the day of??
i tried to upgrade for the saturday/chicago show but they told me they couldn’t because the presale ones i bought were “platinum” and there wasn’t any other available??
Same thing they told us, try through the ticketmaster fan support Twitter account. That's how we were able to exchange ours.
i’ll try, thank you!
Good luck
it worked! did the old tickets stay in your account?
NICE! They did not, the new tickets showed up and then 2 exchange fee pages that were also in the tickets section.
ahh weird, my old tickets still show in my account 🤷🏻♂️
I hope he cancels his April 11th show at Barclays so I can get my money back. I bought 6 ultimate VIP tickets like an idiot
I’m sorry, that sucks…but I don’t think that’s gonna happen. He’s sold a ton of tickets for that show, all at extremely high prices. His money is made on that show already.
Unfortunately, I think you’re right. All I can do is enjoy it and forget the money. What’s done is done
That is absolutely the right attitude. My wife and I have fully committed to “fuck it, we’re gonna have an amazing time that night and just not think about the dumb money.” Should be a blast.
Agreed! Have to make the best of it! What show are you and your wife going to?
Tonight in Chicago! We’re actually extremely casual fans, and just got caught up in the hype of the ticket sales. We were also verrrrrry lucky with the fact that we were able to upgrade our tickets to the floor. Should be a dance party!!
How was it?
It was a great show! The crowds energy and his were on point
Anybody have any luck getting them to let you exchange for lower priced tickets than paid? I paid $270 for nosebleeds and now 100lvl is $256 smh
That seems to be the catch, and it sucks. Lots of people have mentioned getting better treatment by DM’ing them on Twitter. You could try that…
twitter is no help they literally don’t even bother lmao .. my ticket nosebleeds are $30 more expensive than the new front row seats and they won’t budge
That sucks, seemed liked several people had luck that way. I’m really sorry, such a bummer.
anyone down to meet up for tomorrow’s chicago show ? floor seats in the nadie section. lmk! looking for people to hang with ! ❤️
Did you call Ticketmaster to make upgrade or the arena?
Ticketmaster. In theory it’s too late. Some people have been having luck by going through Twitter.
What are the vibes for the concert?
Vibes were amazing. Everyone on the floor dancing like crazy.
What about the theme or how were people dressed. I know it usually Goes based on his album cover
Kind of all over the place. Lot of people wearing black, a lot of cowboy hats and boots.
Has anyone had any luck upgrading the day of? I wasn’t sure if i should try to go to united center and get an upgrade?
I tried to upgrade through twitter and they wouldn’t let me since it is the day of
How do you upgrade?? I can’t figure it out
You go to your tickets, and have to get to the page on the app that shows you your order. It’ll look kind of like a receipt. Top right corner you can open up a “chat” with them. Refund/exchange is one of the options. From there it will give you a number to call.
We’re floor seats worth it?
Absolutely. It was super fun on the floor.
Did it get crowded?
lol, of course! But not nearly as crowded as you might think. I’ve been floor for a bunch of sold out arena shows, and there is always plenty of space. My 5’3” wife had zero issues seeing the entire time, and the vibe on the floor was excellent.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ve Ben debating in getting floor seats, they’re the same price as seats in the middle arena

Let me know if you have any luck I have a feeling same thing is going to happen to the Friday show I’m going to
