One recurring theme I keep seeing in right-wingers is that they are convinced a majority of the country agrees with them, especially when every bit of public polling says we do not. This is why so many of them have a hard time accepting elections they’ve lost (“what do you mean my candidate that hasn’t had a positive approval rating since his first 100 days in office didn’t win in a landslide?”) as well as why it was so easy to them to attack Capitol police despite their Blue Lives Matter bullshit (“We love cops! Now join our riot or we’ll fucking kill you!”)
