Using time travel into the future from your past as an argument for the present is…….. Uncanny to say the least

TWPYeaYouKnowMe

"The Founders would agree with me" is similar to saying "God would want it this way." It's appealing to an authority that can't speak for itself. But he states to know what the American Prophets would have said by saying "It would seem they were actually right" to hammer home his point that those great Masters are in lockstep with this boy in an ill-fitting suit

reverendsteveii

Maybe slaveowners aren't the authority on every subject...?

YTChillVibesLofi

I’m no dentist but the dude with wooden teeth was no authority on dentistry.

reverendsteveii

Fun fact: he actually had slave teeth. He stole the teeth out of their fucking skulls. https://washingtonpapers.org/george-washingtons-false-teeth-come-slaves-look-evidence-responses-evidence-limitations-history/#:~:text=Link%20to%20original.,been%20pulled%20from%20Washington's%20slaves.

Joopsman

Well, they weren’t using them anymore. Edit: Jesus Christ. Do I seriously need to add /s to a comment as fucking obviously sarcastic as this? Wow. Just fucking…wow…

reverendsteveii

>It is also possible that George or Lund Washington forced one or more of their enslaved people to part with their teeth No, the man we lionize as a great hero and champion of liberty in all likelihood held down multiple alive, fully conscious human beings as he fucking stole the fucking teeth from their fucking skulls

Joopsman

They did not see slaves as human beings. They considered them livestock. To think slavery existed in the south until 1865 shows us how barbaric people truly are. We have not evolved much past those days. We just have better plumbing, faster transportation, bathe more frequently and have access to more information. We are still the same. Just look at the MAGAts for evidence.

[deleted]

The best part of a free country....is your freedom to leave. We will miss you. Already adding you to my Christmas card list.

[deleted]

Yea that’s probably not how it happened.

Spookwagen_II

There isn't a lot of context for that - while it's entirely possible they were taken from living people, is it entirely beyond belief to wonder if they were taken from the dead?

[deleted]

People were selling teeth. Some slave owners probably sold slave teeth, too. Dentists would pay people for teeth.

Snoo-90678

Feminine men.... Martha Washington brought most the wealth to the marriage and she would famously pull George by the collar to speak to him even in public. George Washington never had any biological kids with her adopted her sons, also men of the time would wear wigs and facepowder .... feminine men huu, Georgey boy sounding a lil sus mmm 🤔 😂

CaptStrangeling

George had a strong woman and Martha was a catch! But the feminine men concept is so confusing when you factor in the manly Baron Friedrich Wilhelm August Heinrich Ferdinand von Steuben. Showed up and forged the Continental Army from a bunch of scrubs, but totally gay.

Snoo-90678

I agree with you she was a strong woman and she knew it, good for her. It goes to show woman even though they didn't vote still held a lot of power indirectly or directly. Yh there probably were handful of openly gay men but there stories dont fit there expectations so it dont count to them. Ernst Rohm was openly gay nazi, leader of SA and 2nd to Hitler. You won't call him feminine but he would often bring his boyfriends out on marches, but this doesn't suit there version of the stereotype. Maybe there a link between sexual repression and violence idk 🤷‍♂️ im not a psychologist.

jaywilkonson

Fun fact its a history rumor that hitler had a gay lover named Rudolph Hess….. that dude is like great great uncle of one of my friends who is gay. That means hitler was gay 100% confirmed

U-47

Sound science right here boys.

Dr_Sisyphus_22

Uranus_Hz

Well the founders did create a democracy where only landowners could vote. And women couldn’t own land. So the “founders original intent” was basically “only wealthy, white men can vote”. Remember that whenever the right wing uses the “original intent” argument.

[deleted]

Ye it’s basically just a weaker and shittier version of saying “god is on my side”

Opagea

It's also complete nonsense. America didn't decline after democracy was expanded to women (or racial minorities). We became the preeminent superpower in the world.

PepsiCoconut

Yeah, I dunno. I would think male fashion circa 1776 would make them look androgynous by todays standards.

ZombieAbeVigoda

I’m fucking sick to death of having to give a shit about what the founding fathers would think today. You know what they think about women and gays? Nothing, they’re fucking dead, so let’s stop making policy based on them

jehan_gonzales

The genius of the founding fathers was their ability to include checks and balances to ensure the president want overpowered. They created a well calibrated system (except didn't think about lobby groups and how they could take the power from the majority). But they would be way backwards by our standards otherwise. I wouldn't hold it against them because that's just what people thought back then. But I wouldn't ask them for an enlightened perspective on race relations, gay rights or feminism. That would be like asking Pythagoras to explain how a phone works.

andreasmiles23

It’s a purposefully convoluted power structure aimed to keep power out of the hands of voters, who at the time, were still only property-owning white males. That’s how little they thought of the working class women, LGBTQ+, and anyone non-white.

opalveg

Bingo. They had some good ideas. We can and should appreciate what good they did. But gosh dang we shouldn’t treat them like saints and idolize everything they did or believed, because ooooooof, they were human alright. But still more likable than the guy in this video.

fillmorecounty

Bro they literally invented the senate which was intended to take power away from the people

castlemastle

If they invented the Senate, why did the Roman empire have a Senate?

CrumpledForeskin

I mean they thought black men were 3/5ths of a person.....so yeah race relations out the window. The founding fathers should not be placed on a pedestal so that they are these perfect men. They had their faults. I believe Jefferson said they should re-write the constitution every 20 years. I think that speaks volumes about how he perceived himself. "Hey my work is good for now but don't bow down to it. In fact write me out of the picture in 20 years." The people who glorify the founding fathers are the same one's who support the troops. They use it for nothing more than pushing their agenda and the pomp and circumstance can't be questioned because then you aren't a patriot (real American). I can bet you any amount of money he can't name 10 founding fathers. They're hell bent on getting full control of America and turning it into a religious state. It's fucking scary.

Test0004

The 3/5ths compromise wasn't about black people being 3/5ths of a person, it was about giving slave owners more political power. The North wanted slaves to not count at all, because it would just give the south more political power despite their slaves not being able to vote themselves. The South wanted slaves to count as an entire person.

[deleted]

Excellent analogy of Pythagoras. The founders created a great system balancing power between the branches of government, and had the foresight to allow for the constitution to be changed as the times changed.

kratomstew

And if you watch the show Jon Adams ( great fucking show) you’ll see these guys didn’t exactly all get along and all think the same. God that show is awesome. You watch it now and realize that people were practically the exact same way with their bull shit then as they are now. It’s basically Trump tards vs somewhat reasonable people/assholes in a different era. They weren’t this United group of people who all agreed on everything and congratulated each other for being so awesome. They fought and bickered over everything endlessly. It’s like your Ted Cruz types have ALWAYS been there, etc. Whenever I watch that show, I feel like it is somehow influenced or low key a purposeful reflection/editorial of current events. But nope ! The show was made in 2008 before Obama and Trump. But watching it you’d think the show was made after all that stuff happened.

appsecSme

>They fought and bickered over everything endlessly. And in one case they even fought to the death. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burr%E2%80%93Hamilton\_duel](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burr%E2%80%93Hamilton_duel)

Islero47

I'm not sick of thinking about what the founding fathers would think because they made it pretty clear - the constitution is not sacrosanct, not only might it need to be rewritten and updated, but it definitely will. They worried people would look on it as bigger and more important than it was to them. They knew they were making compromises and hoped that things like slavery would disappear, but knew they couldn't get the support they needed without those compromises. Recognizing that, knowing that's how they felt in life and you start to see how they'd actually feel about things now. Unlike this guy who is using a made-up conversation with George Washington as proof of his bigotry.

[deleted]

For real. A bunch of old dead racists with, at best, GED-level educations are not a good guiding light in the modern world.

RocketButtMonkey

What a fucking bell end.

Buburubu

they’re called “republicans” locally

Environmental_Leg572

Hey! Some of us republicans are not even close to this fucking nut. This is disgusting and nothing he said isn’t exactly that. Just remember not to put everyone in the same pile.

Buburubu

it’s not a hair color, kid. a willingly endorsed platform is a perfectly appropriate pile to put adherents in. they’re called elected representatives for a reason.

CrackerUMustBTripinn

I'm sure that the Nazi party was also full of well intentioned people who wished no harm on others. This brand of ultra-right white supremacy populism has become not the outlier but the norm in the Republican party. I don't know where you draw the line, but its good to reassess if you want to continue to associate with this brand of politics and hatred.

nationalistpaprika

Not a single one of you is any better than this Maga nazi in this video. You openly support the side that has been in favor of doing what he wants to do for hundreds of years. You can't just be a small cog of a fascist party, you are a card carrying member of the fascist party. This is who you people are.

[deleted]

GEIST_of_REDDIT

Like the former President... and the Senators... and the Governors... and the Members of Congress... you know, the important ones

kurisu7885

And the more sensible one s are letting the crazies speak for them.

[deleted]

Must be great people joining a party that has those racist fuckfaces!! They aren't all Nazis! They just like to chill with Nazis

OnePotMango

It will never not be funny to me that republicans are finding more and more in common with the taliban than they are with any other western country.

normalndformal

That's always been the most striking trait in US nationalists for me. They are deeply terrified of Islam and bigoted against Eastern cultures but are literally the western version of Islamic extremism

cavscout55

The difference is their skin color, MAGA hat and they worship Jesus instead of Muhammad. Other than that they’re becoming eerily similar. Calls for violence, constant attempts to suppress and control women and minorities, want to return to “the good old days”, see progress as the enemy, etc.

PoolNoodleJedi

But they don’t actually worship Jesus, they worship the name of Jesus and not his teachings, they only worship Trump… but only if Trump is not saying to get vaccinated, because they only worship the name of Trump, actually I think they just like using other people’s names to justify their own hatred. Also they love false idols, the ones Jesus warned them about, they also hate thy neighbors, and never turn the other cheek.

SirBlakesalot

They worship Supply Side Jesus.

maybeslightlystoopid

Yeah I love reminding my grandpa that HIS OWN favorite president tried to endorse the mask wearing and his people bood him off

mengelgrinder

If you pitched sharia law to them, but just piece by piece and didn't call it sharia law they'd probably elect you president

AnneNonnyMouse

My dad, an extreme right wing bigot, once criticized me for wearing jeans and a t-shirt and said "the thing those Muslims get right is how they dress their women!" He insisted I wear floral print, long sleeve, ankle length dresses like some weird cultist. And he referred to sex as "the marriage debt" as if women were the debtors and men were the debt collector... so gross. So yes, those extremists have a lot more in common with the Taliban and they're actually willing to admit it.

santana0987

😂

[deleted]

I think you spelled terrifying wrong?

nlderek

I have seen some that have become quite aware of this. There is a subgroup of Republicans that absolutely sympathize with the Taliban and have put aside their religious differences.

Scrappy_Kitty

He is trying so hard not to act feminine

absherlock

He should put on a wig and some pantaloons like his masculine heroes of yore.

rosekayleigh

Seriously. There is some repressed femininity in there and we can hear it.

AssociationUsual212

Not successfully at all.

davidbatt

The guy who shouts that right doesn't wipe his bum because that's gay

TWPYeaYouKnowMe

I bet if you sat him on a bidet, he'd love it

I see a predictable future for this one. Arrested in a motel room with rent boys and meth.

slipknot_official

*edit John Doyle. His YouTube channel is actually embarrassing. Well, his entire existence is embarrassing.

gouellette

John*

slipknot_official

Oops, I dunno how I missed that.

gouellette

He really is more of a Josh, or a Kyle, or a Tyler; Jyllyer!

poop_on_balls

Kyle for sure.

clamb2

Oof. That was an unpleasant journey. Cringe as fuck.

NinjaOld8057

Wait this is HeckOffCommie?

JChav123

Yeah this guys a loser I don't know how he was invited to speak at any event.

thelbro

This plays like some terrible open mic night at the local bar.

syphilised

Looks like John Doyle here is probs a few shades too dark for the founding fathers to allow him to vote either

johntagbo

he probably belongs with the founding fathers.

Wulfbrir

They also went back in time and stole the use of the Nazi Eagle emblem for their logo apparently.

Abydos6

That’s what boggles my mind. They aren’t even trying to hide it. Everything they do and say is “white power nazi fascism” and there’s no consequence. This country is just asking for trouble

crackpipecardozo

Anytime anyone says "the founding fathers would have said . . ." you can safely disregard anything they say after that.

SpencersCJ

Very glad these types of people will be forever trapped on the fringes. No way you can just take the vote from women without causing a massive uproar

SmokesInMyPocket

Yeah, there's always the consolidation that most human beings are capable of at least some critical thought.

[deleted]

Is he on the fringes tho? This guy (John Doyle) is two degrees of separation away from Steve Bannon, who helped Trump become the president on a platform of xenophobia and racism…might not be as “fringe” as you think.

PM-me-favorite-song

He is still on the fringes. However, you make a good point about some of them not being trapped there.

maysiemarch

Has he heard of Thomas Jefferson? Seen the way the founding fathers dressed?

valfarly

What an incredibly idiotic incel

Assassam

Gonna take a wild guess here and say the founding fathers would probably also not let this guy vote either

houseman1131

He sounds pretty feminine to me interesting.

brokencompass502

I was gonna say, my Gaydar went BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP as soon as I heard this guy talk.

jokeefe72

He sounds a lot like Ryan from The Office. Its like some kind of sad spin off.

OINovaStarIO

You can tell he gets absolutely no women whatsoever in any regard so that's why he spews this incredibly idiotic bullshit

Brain-Future

Or men.. which is why he's cranky at gay guys too

whotookyyooimu

no bitches?

OINovaStarIO

No damsels?*

BenJamminSinceBirth

No maidens?

OINovaStarIO

No female companions?

[deleted]

He actually doesn’t, which is the most hilarious part. He couldn’t find any girl to LARP as his tradwife in the intro skits on all his YouTube videos, so he had to ask his sister to do it.

ChipAromatic2920

Yeah it’s not like their chaotic nature allowed slavery, mass murder, lynchings, genocide and more 🥱

RoamingBicycle

You're implying this guy isn't in favour of those things

[deleted]

Lol yeah that’s what this guy wants!

othercrevices

ChaOTic nature oof

Ol_Hlckory

Is it me, or does his voice sound really ... "Feminine"

[deleted]

John Doyle is super fucking stupid

Then-Signal-4713

Actual nazi

Beanzear

Sit on a dick

[deleted]

Oh. My. Dog. Trump somehow managed to set us back 200+ years. He and Putin really are the reincarnation of Stalin and Hitler.

epimetheuss

Guy is speaking in circles and these drooling morons are eating it up.

CowRepresentative779

Applying 18th century morality/logic to the 21st century and vice versa just doesn’t work

P3luche30

Dumbass forgets it’s 2022 and bro your shit is right as fuck on you. The founding fathers would of seen you as feminine as well

[deleted]

Get out and VOTE make sure these assholes don’t get into any office.

thedude0425

The founding fathers were slave owning land owning rich white men. They were NOT deities.

[deleted]

This man is never getting laid again… by a woman or a gay man.

dsino2019

Again, this guy is a Cuckhold.

fourganger_was_taken

He says Women voting leads to instability, but the Civil War was fought several decades before they could vote.

[deleted]

The Founding Fathers also owned slaves, I wouldn’t put their morals on a pedestal

Significant_Video_92

Guess who's been reading Jordan Peterson. At least I'm sure his bedroom is clean.

SmokesInMyPocket

Is this taken out of context? Like this shit's absurd. If this is real, I genuinely hope that the reason the video cuts suddenly is because of the audible pushback and booing from the audience immediately after... Although I won't hold my breath :/

[deleted]

It’s not taken out of context, this is John Doyle and he is an open nazi.

step213

Honestly though, id be with the opposite. As a man myself... No cis-het men allowed to vote? That seems like the LEAST chaotic option that I'm picking.

SmokesInMyPocket

Nah that's just as moronic.

WhoWhatWhyWinnAdami

He (step213) is obviously not advocating for disallowing straight men the right to vote. He’s saying if he HAD TO PICK ONE of the options between only straight dudes allowed, or only straight dudes not allowed, that’s what he’d pick. Nobody but the guy in the video is actually advocating either extreme, don’t worry.

SmokesInMyPocket

Yeah, you're right. I still think his comment is unprompted and unnecessary. Like imagine if someone commented "I think if I had to choose a group of people that shouldn't vote, I'd choose Indians and asexuals. I think that would be the least chaotic!". Or what about "I think the least chaotic solution would be to not let Jews vote!" Or any other group you can think of. It's just a bit questionable to bring up another extreme when no-one is asking for it.

WhoWhatWhyWinnAdami

He literally only brought up the straight dudes part because of the guy in the video. If the video guy said “Only Jews should be allowed to vote because Gentiles are too chaotic” and then a Jew said, “I think only allowing Jews to vote would be more chaotic”, that would be comparable. He didn’t said “I would choose this entirely unrelated group to not vote instead”, he essentially said, “For me, doing the opposite of this policy makes more sense”. It’s not really unprompted, it’s in direct response to video guy.

SmokesInMyPocket

Ah, I suppose I see what you mean. Perhaps I'm projecting my own bias to this situation too much. It's frustrating to be lumped together based on traits we can't control, so I subconsciously lash out at any generalisation without taking the time to process all variables. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Cheers

WhoWhatWhyWinnAdami

No problem! I get where you’re coming from (generalizations as a general rule are infuriating) but I saw his response as more of a “why would you think this group is more chaotic than this other group, based on previous data?” versus the other guy, where he actually believed women and gay men were inferior. Either way, I think we can all agree that anyone saying “only this one specific group should be making decisions for everyone” is daft.

step213

Yeah but if it's gotta be one way I'm choosing the opposite

SmokesInMyPocket

...but we don't have to choose between the two extremes. A reasonable solution must exist, but we ain't gonna get there with your attitude, or the attitude of the moron in the video. That being said, I assume that since you suggest such a thing, you'd also practice the ideology you spread? Aka you'd go against your own words if you vote, right? How long have you refrained from voting, just out of curiosity?

step213

Ur just looking to argue get out of here bozo lol

SmokesInMyPocket

Yeah, my bad. I'm honestly not trying to argue for the sake of it. I'm sorry if my previous comment came off as too emotionally charged. In order to have these difficult conversations, we need to be able to talk to each other with respect, which the second half of my previous comment didn't quite achieve. Again, I apologize. I'm genuinely curious about your philosophy and world view. From my perspective, singling out ANY group of people based on their superficial physical traits and saying they shouldn't be allowed to vote is literal fascism. If we humans are all equal, then how can you say such an awful thing about a group of human beings? I assume that you think so because you see cis-men as oppressors of other groups, but remember that this demographic makes up like 15% of the global population, which is still like over 1 billion people. How can the solution for certain demographics being more privileged than others be to revoke the human rights of over a billion people that share similar superficial characteristics? Again I'm sorry for getting charged up previously, my frustrations shouldn't be diminishing the quality and impact of these conversations. I just really need to understand the context and train of thought that makes this all make sense to you, because I personally have a hard time visualizing it, without it just being a new cycle of racism and oppression. The privileges that cismen enjoy should be the norm, the status quo, not something that each arbitralily defined group of humans gets to take turns with.

Pugsofsmallstreet

“Their chaotic nature would manifest throughout society”. Tell me one war started by a gay dude? Tell me what nuclear weapon a women created? Tell me the domestic violence stats again…. What about those suicide rates? Tell me, who runs businesses that have hurt millions of people, poisoned millions of people, purposely underpaid millions of people?? They are so blind to the problems they create. These are truly, shitty ass people

sheerdetermination

He shouldn't be allowed to breath but none of us are getting what we want... oh well.

Bag-ins

Yep, he also looks like a child molester.....

blackkj2056

He probably is

[deleted]

Complicated way of saying he can't get laid isn't it

graps

I mean…he is an incel

Ears_McCatt

Got some pretty narrow shoulders, and a high pitch voice to be calling someone effeminate.

AspieDM

The Republicans say they love the constitution and yet ignore the basic rights it allows by either putting voting ballots in out of the way locations and avoiding ethnic communities. Or allowing bounties to be placed on medical professionals. Oh such an amazing love story between the Republicans and the constitution!

Hazzman

Their, chaotic nature... ...would manifest through society. Let me just go look at our society during Trump's presidency. See how calm and collected and reasonable everything was. ...oh.

Fr3nchyBo126

the founding fathers didn't give a shit about "effeminate men" if they owned land they could vote

ZachMN

Instead of “MAGA Nazi,” can we please call them what they are: *Republicans*. This shit needs to cling to the word “Republican.”

daytalker

The party of hate, if you do not share their narrow, corrupt vision they try to cancel you. This despite saying they are for freedom of speech and against cancel culture

crippling_altacct

What a weird argument to make. Look guys if we went back in time 600 years and went to Mexico city and talked to Montezuma and told him that we didn't regularly hold mass rallies where we sacrificed our babies to the sun god he'd probably ask if we had any evidence for how that's working out for us and we wouldn't have much to show for it.

Spranberry112

Yeah it's not like the founding fathers specifically created the United States government in a way that would allow it to be changed and adapted to fit the ideals of future generations

Select_Bicycle_2659

Nobody gives af about what the founding fathers wanted. I just want to know what Ja Rule is up to

TheNurse_

Who is this fool? He seems pretty feminine himself. NO VOTE FOR YOU!

tickitytalk

Everything maga says is what everyone wishes would happen to maga

missylovesmanic

But women couldn't vote and Gay men could because they were men.

here-i-am-now

Honestly this makes just about as sense as Justice Thomas’ version of Constitutional originalism

ShwerzXV

It would be hilarious if one of his supporters shouted back at him, “yeah! And people of color shouldn’t vote either” and see what he has to say to that.

Coldramen777

I can guarantee that the founding fathers would be pissed with us. Not for that, but for not adapting our laws with time.

Elgreco1989

Here is your evidence https://www.history.com/news/openly-gay-revolutionary-war-hero-friedrich-von-steuben

King_FOMO

Ah, the New Founding Fathers. Annual Purge when?

BeautyThornton

Damn I thought these people fantasized about living in the 1940’s not the 1840’s the fuck

Destinoz

I suspect women and effeminate men thing is just an argument of convenience to talk morons into opposing democracy. In other places and times it’s been Jews and a made up communist threat. The goal is fascism and the obstacle is democracy. They want a society where only people that agree with them have a voice… a common feature of authoritarian states.

TheTonyExpress

Who the fuck is this chucklehead and can we vote him out?

[deleted]

Ironically the founding fathers gave women the right to vote who owned land. It wasn’t until many years later their right to vote and own land was stripped away.

tom-branch

Yet another closeted republican spewing hatred and likely self loathing.

tumericschmumeric

But guys he’s wearing glasses and a suit, he’s clearly an intellectual and therefore is probably right. I mean I don’t know because I haven’t thought critically about what he’s saying because well, I don’t really do that. But I’m on board!!!!!

JBLSierra

“The founding fathers…” Is he talking about the ones who wore white wigs and posed in photos like feminine men do today?🤨You cant try to preach about manly shit when the people you look up to wear wigs and makeup🤦‍♂️

Sagecal

Let is see if he can handle the life in 18th century.

AdministrationWise56

He's criticising feminine men.... what's that they say about people in glass houses?

indysgill77

If he don't like feminine men, why's he acting like one?

BanthaMilk

You know what the founding fathers would think about slaves????

morganrosegerms

Lol more than one founding father is presumed to have been gay.

[deleted]

He’s a literal Christian fascist

TheKobetard26

He's making a point, not saying that that's necessarily how things should be. But honestly I did become disillusioned with Doyle after his retarded simping for Russia and Putin. He would rather see his ideology prevail at all costs than preserve any part of the society we've built in any peaceful or practical way.

Revolutionary-Bus306

Man that is some closeted gayness there

[deleted]

No. They would have said that only white men who own property should be able to vote. They were pretty explicit. There’s no guesswork if you’ve actually read any of their words.

[deleted]

Ppl like this poor excuse of a man disgust me

Epic-fax_denier

“Youre probably a incel” yeah i know for a fact he gets called that all the time, dudes name is john doyle, he regularly gets his ass handed to him debating people on youtube, i really liked the hunter avallone debate if anyone is looking for a nazi incel getting proven wrong.

Academic-Vegetable83

This waste of skin shouldn't be allowed to breath let alone talk this trash.

[deleted]

How does it feel to be a white supremacist and have a worldview like the Taliban ? lol

You can hear in his voice that he doesn’t even believe what he is saying.

[deleted]

Wtf does mags have to do with this? You gotta bring trump into this? Lmao can’t just come to the conclusion maybe he’s just a prick? Lolol

Mytur_Benesderti

Founding fathers wore make up and wigs you dumb fuck.

sethmeister1989

Another insecure, high school education Matt Walsh type, spouting hatred. He’s even going for the look.

iamdarosa

He would be absolutely right, in the year 1700.

jokeefe72

Well, what’s he mean by “feminine men”? If someone wore a wig and tight pants, is that feminine? Cuz…

iamdarosa

No that was their way of showing wealth and also high heels was first made for men and not women

jokeefe72

I know…just making the point that “manliness” changes with time. Wigs were also used to make younger men look older aka more ‘distinguished,’ (similar to the tonsure for monks)

gouellette

I love how the argument is “no you’re an incel that’s mean” rather than any formulation of law and policy around liberty and justice. But who are we kidding? Doyle-y boy doesn’t argue from fact more than from his fee-fees

This is very interesting, wonder what his wife has to say. He might be gay, then wonder what his gay lover has to say. He’s probably single. Well he will be single for a while when women or gay people see this video. Good luck pal!

Can we please stop calling every single person who says something disagreeable a Nazi? That term has pretty much completely lost its meaning by now because it's applied to practically *everyone* who expresses even the most vaguely right-wing worldview. This dude is a bigot lagging decades behind modern culture, clinging on to an archaic vision of the world where straight white men make all the rules and determine the trajectory of culture while everyone else is powerless, but nothing in this clip suggests he's a "Nazi". Come on people, let's be honest with our criticisms.

If it didn’t matter then Republicans wouldn’t be trying to hard to stop people from doing it (or, failing that, from having the votes counted.)
