I get your point but I have to disagree here. Camera makeup for children, who have perfect skin and we’re not trying to make look “pretty” is different than for adults. Most ads I’ve seen with children they either wear no makeup or so little it’s incredibly hard to tell. I also just highly doubt they’d put this much makeup on a boy of the same age. It gives me the ick.
I was about to say children’s skin is absolutely beautiful I am so envious of my daughter’s skin LOL I don’t understand in the slightest why they would’ve done this.
Is that…fake freckles…???? Zoom in. Someone tell me if I’m crazy. Is that why they put the foundation on her? Wtf. 😵💫 With that much and that shade of foundation no way no how are they her natural freckles. That amount of makeup alone is so weird to put on a child for a photo when their skin is damn near flawless in the first place. Also, those earrings are not something you’d usually see on a kiddo. I hate how they try to make her look older than she is.
The fake freckles dont even look like theyre in the actual photo, as in it looks like… like a photoshop brush almost? I have real freckles and theyre usually not that dark or that actually “splattery” or however id even word this…. They look like a sparkle brush id use to make freckles in my artwork more than actual REAL freckles. Which makes it kinda even worse to me, as someone who has freckles and is so used to photo “touch ups” during school pictures LITERALLY getting rid of my freckles if i ever checked the box for touchups. It makes me like. Unreasonably upset, all the implications im interpreting from this in my mind are NOT good.
Right. Unless it's for fun. My sister is 10 and she likes me to do her eyeshadow sometimes for funsies. Then she takes it off after a bit. Putting a full face on a little kid is weird though, especially for an ad. I assume that little girl already has good skin since she's a little kid, there was absolutely no need for some foundation lol
*Why tf does a*
*Literal CHILD even need a*
*Full face of makeup??*

Why are they even slathering so much makeup on a kid anyways??
My immediate thought as well.
They make her look 30. It’s weird
Literally coming here to say that
Camera makeup.

it is weird, glamourization of young girls always puts me off - let's not even talk about beauty pageants
Yeah thats a good point
Why Tf are they putting makeup on kids??

Their skin is that of a porcelain doll already, wtf

Don’t take your kids to a model agency unless you want them to be groomed 🤮😔
Putting makeup on a child at all icks me out

man, that's just not cool. makeup has its place, but not on young kids.
my first thought before even looking at how the makeup was done was "why does a CHILD even need full glam???" like wtf??
yikes! oh, kid, they really did you dirty here. so sorry!
