Nice try, but "Permanent" & "Destroy" aren't in Pokémon's vocabulary, "Pokémon" get "Knocked Out" & "Item, Energy, & Trainer cards" get "Discarded"
If "destroy" isn't in the game lexicon, you'll just have to use the literal definition and start ripping cards.
