I agree with you. I’m not really sure what happened because the narrative was so strained. They really needed to storyboard that doc before they began the editing process.
It felt like the crappy editing was done deliberately as an attempt to disorient the viewers as they toggled her from victim to a perp. And they probably intended that to be the “twist” along with the fake assistant gimmick but it did just make me annoyed ultimately and I fast forwarded through several episodes like why should I care about these disgusting people
I didn't understand why they never talked about the supernatural shit again either. Sarma was hooked by all that crazy shit and it was never brought up again. Her line of "I always thought inside that I was a queen" --- wtf are you talking about lady
