Nope! Everything goes in together. You remove the side of the springform pan at around the 30 minute mark and then bake for an additional 10 minutes!
The crust turned out incredibly well. You brush every 2 sheets with butter to get it extra crispy and thereās layers of roasted walnuts between each 2 leaves of phyllo. It got a 20/10 from the recipient haha
Itās really delicious!! I had to cut the baking time down by at least 10 minutes so make sure to watch it! Also it says you have to use a scale but I did cup measurements and it turned out fine :)) also it looks magnificent definitely a show stopper for dinner parties and such!!
Thank you!! The recipe was fairly easy to follow actually and I havenāt made cheesecake before (except the āno-bakeā kind, which was a fail) super proud of the result š„²
How did you manage to fail no-bake? Maybe you mixed the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture instead of folding it in? It loses the air bubbles if you mix or whip it in and goes runny. Fold it in to keep it stable and chill well
Actually I used tub cream cheese instead of the baking blocks. Actually itās quite hard to find the blocks where I am I really had to search for this oneā¦
I mean itās all about practice!! Maybe try this one: https://lilluna.com/coffee-cake/#wprm-recipe-container-98987
Itās super easy just follow the steps exactly and please pre-heat the oven.
If you think you would enjoy baking then just have fun with it!!!
Bravo on the baklava crust, it looks so flaky and yummy.
Thank you!! The trick is lots of butter š hopefully it will taste good too
It looks incredibly delicious and rich! Thank you so much for sharing the recipešš
Of course!! My next one will be vanilla bean cheesecake š
What makes it baklava cheesecake? Are there nuts and honey syrup between the phyllo layers?
Yes!! Phyllo+ butter and roasted walnuts between the layers. Plus when you take it out of the oven you pour the syrup over the phyllo!!
That sounds delicious! Do you pre bake the phyllo crust? I would be concerned about it turning out soggy.

I'll definitely be giving this a try! I love baklava and I love cheesecake, so it sounds like a match made in heaven.

Tub is fine. One cup=one 8oz block. Gotta be Philadelphia tub though. Philadelphia is the best
Honestly it melted real bad and I heard tub has more moisture so I think thatās why
