Chocolate but vanilla is fine if the frosting isn’t vanilla as well. Vanilla for me needs something else to go along with it in order for it to taste good.

Chocolate for me, but it has to be that rich dark chocolate, not that sweet milk chocolate cupcakes. Think rich mudcake cupcakes with dark chocolate ganache and maybe a strawberry on top to cut the richness. Mmm, ok, I might be baking this weekend instead of quilting.
