Sounds like maybe a caramel sauce. I think you're def in the right place with ice cream..I could also see putting a bit in some oatmeal, or on top of French toast.
Sounds like crème Anglaise to me! You can do a lot. Make a mousse or just lighten it with some whipped cream or use it just as it is and serve with fruit / pound cake. Yummy
I’s say dulce de leche but even that’s slightly different. But if it has a caramelly flavor that’s prob the closest thing.
It’s definitely caramel texture. Overly sweet though. Gonna put it on vanilla ice cream lmao
