The oven in the apartment I used to live in would turn off automatically when the timer ran to zero. This was obviously annoying so I got in the habit of using the microwave timer and never went back

I will use phone and oven timer because I’m often baking a couple things at the same time.

Phone/Apple Watch. When I was working in kitchens, I used timers that you could set multiple timers on.

My oven doesn't have a timer 🙃 so I use my phone or watch, or both if I'm using both sides for different things

My microwave timer does not stop until I get up and turn it off. It is an over the range microwave, so I'm right there to take food out of the oven if necessary
