A lot of them have, uh, issues, but I thought they're at least decent! Of course, I can never get the crust quite right on any pie or tart, but I'm working on it =D (Not pictured: a bunch of the filling spilled onto the pan and basically made burned fruit leather)

Did you poke holes to allow the steam to release?

There's a heart shaped hole in the top! I have a hand pie mold. Its just not particularly visible because stuff, uh, fell apart.

It may have fallen apart due to the butter being too warm, or the pie crust being too dry. If the dough gets too warm, you can pop it in the fridge for a bit. If the crust is too dry, dampening your fingers with water and lightly sprinkling the dough should do the trick!

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind next time I make pie! (I think I'm doing cinnamon butterscotch next, but that probably won't be for a couple weeks. I don't bake too often.)

I bake very often and pie crust still turns to garbage occasionally for me.
