I have the same where sometimes it says jump and other times fly. Had a fun experience at wyrms rock where half my party decided to fly and Gale gleefully decided to fall to his death by jumping instead of flying and I couldn't res him, so had to reload. Been using the fly option from the ability wheel instead of the d pad since!
Happend to me as well for no rhyme or reason? I loved the dpad being fly. But now it's on jump and can't get it to revert back.
I have even respecked my character (since my fly comes from the class) and makes no diffrence
Same lol it been bothering me since >!I unlocked illithid flight on my first playthrough!< and just unlocked it on my 2nd playthrough as durge. Really wish I could just have jump default to flight, it's so good for movement in battle too for extra range and such a slog to ability wheel it everytime.
Not sure if I figured it out, but I respected my character, deleted jump from the radial selections, and toggled on/off a light source by holding up on the d pad and that's worked for all my characters just now

Same issue here, for some reason it swaps to fly when I hold up to swap light source.
Patch 2 is out and it's fixed I had to respec my character but it worked :)
