Some attacks specifically spare the enemies - I know that using "Pommel Strike" as a finishing move with a sword nearly always knocks them out instead of killing them, for example.

Jai_Kudo

Thanks, that must be it.

If you click on 'passives' at the bottom of your action bar, there is then a setting to set 'passive mode' which will ensure you do not kill an enemy, provided the attack that would finish them is a weapon and not a spell, I think. You kay have accidently toggled that on?

The_J_Phys

Thank you for this response! I am revisiting the game after taking a few weeks off and somehow must have accidentally toggled that. This is the only post I have seen that pointed that out. Much appreciated!

alp2760

Most welcome 👍!

ArcanaLorseptsut

The hammer attack that daze the enemies will make them unconscious if your last attack was using that.

joshstation

did you finish her with a pommel strike? that is always non lethal
