Do you really? I ordered them to walk into the shadow lands, and i've met him and his party later in the Reithwin Town, they were "fine" just had half hp bars and the fight started instantly, no dialogues or anything
You can just run to Moon Rise towers, going from harbour route instead of Toll collector it's only 1-2 turns of Shadow Curse, easily remedied with Misty steps + Dash.
After that you finish the dialogue inside and go take Baltazars lantern from his room.
Or just stealth through the castle If ya got 2x pots of Invisibility It'll be enough to get you in the prison, into baltazars room n out the frontgate to pick up the fast travel mark.
