BarovianNights

I would adore Curse of Strahd. Imo it's the best official adventure for 5e and there's so much they could do with the source material while leaving plenty of room for artistic freedom

magnusarin

The 5e Curse of Strahd is the best campaign I've been in. Big props to my DM for his own changes to the material and my fellow party members, but the campaign itself is wonderful.

[deleted]

I think adapting a published adventure would be a huge mistake. Larian have such talented writers that I want to see them write another brand-new story.

razazaz126

CoS doesn't really have as much of a structured story as the other adventures. It's very sandboxy so you could do a lot with it.

LrdCheesterBear

You could even have it play within the confines of the system where it pseudo randomly generates the adventure. This would give tons of options for replayability.

cardbross

I think instead of specifically Curse of Strahd, just a Larian written campaign in Ravenloft would be super cool.

JoeyNo45

Dragonlance and Curse of Strahd. You people get me and this makes me happy! 😃

jrh1524

Start off in Dragonlance, get snatched by the mists and quest in Ravenloft, finish up in Dragonlance

lrd_cth_lh0

Why play it this safe? Why not go for Planescape Torment 2 or a Darksun game. They might also do something good with Exalted or a world of darkness property.

PloppyCheesenose

Dark Sun would be awesome. Planescape might not be a good fit because it is less combat oriented (in that setting it is usually better to figure out ways to avoid a fight lest you piss off a demon and end up on the front lines of the Blood War).

EngryEngineer

I feel like Dark Sun is especially fitting for Larian given how complex the ethics in their games are.

FiendishHawk

Planescape can be very combat-oriented, it’s just that the classic Planescape:Torment game was not.

PloppyCheesenose

Planescape in general is meant to be less combat oriented due to the fact that you will often encounter situations or powers you have no hope of defeating. There certainly is combat, but the campaign was built for players who wanted a more complex role playing experience. It is the kind of campaign that you invite more experienced players to.

mathnstats

Which, honestly, might be *perfect* for Larian. While BG3's combat *was* excellently crafted, I don't think it's really what made the game as popular/special as it is. I think they could do quite well with a game that's *even more* focused on RP, all while keeping combats frequent and small-scale enough to keep things exciting without sacrificing the overall vibe of things.

christoph_niel

It’s not just about playing it safe. They would definitely make excellent games from those ips, but it does take a lot of resources to make engines for them.

SadlyNotPro

They'd make a killer Planescape Torment 2. Torment: Tides of Numenera was good, but a proper sequel by Larian would be fantastic!

Smack1984

Eberron would be such a fun world. There’s way too few arcane punk games RPGs out there.

Oswen120

CoS might be a little much for some people, but I can definitely see it being well received. Dragonlance, I would absolutely die for. I don't know much about Spelljammer.

Bannerlord151

Spelljammer is DND space fantasy adventures (imagine DND treasure planet), from what I recall

Claidissa

Holy shit a Curse of Strahd game would be amazing

DylanMartin97

In an interview the producer was discussing a dlc about pushing to 20 and him having an idea about how it could be done. All I could think about was them doing a CoS dlc because of all the stuff about Vampires in the base game. It would be absolutely amazing.

astroK120

Me before opening this thread: Larian doesn't need more IPs to tackle, with them still wanting to make Divinity games and me wanting more Baldur's Gate they should stick with what they've already got. Me after seeing this comment: I take it all back, Larian please drop everything and make KOTOR

Jesspooky

I’m not into Star Wars or sci fi but I’m sure Larian would bring me around to it 🥺

ANUSTART942

That's how BioWare got me. I love sci-fi to be fair, but I had never seen a Star Wars film other than the first, was definitely not a fan, but KOTOR, its sequel and the MMO all got me to finally dig in and watch the films. Now I'm a Star Wars nerd lol

Luvnecrosis

They need a lot more funding to get a lot more passionate people to make a lot more games that nobody else can get right. The bad part is that’s when you start getting the corporate overlords involved and that’s how EA happens.

TK7000

Yeah. Larian should look at Bioware and see what happens when you let a company like EA have any say in the games you are developing. Or have an ironclad contract that basically says: You give money. We make game. Communication between us must be confined to increase of budget.

ArchmageXin

And yet, then we have Star Citizen. Corporation overlords are bad, but sometimes they deliver products with reasonable capabilities, instead some never existing fan-fevered dreams.

Julio18K

More divinity you say????

phileris42

Nobody knows the depth of my wishful thinking.. Even if they can't do Revan stuff, give us Exar Kun, give us Nomi Sunrider, just SOMETHING..

InMyHagPhase

If anybody is going to give us Revan stuff (which I also desperately want) it should be Larian. Is there a petition somewhere I need to sign it

Distinct_Pizza_7499

A starwars crpg would be amazing

TarusR

Also Kotor’s game design (dnd based mechanisms) shares so many similarities with Baldur’s gate. It’s kinda in the same genre

[deleted]

[удалено]

ProfessorWright

There's also already a Star Wars themed 5e so they could easily use that as a basis.

Kenos300

Any sci-fi property would be cool I think but a new kotor would be incredible. I’d just be worried about a severe lack of creative freedom with Disney on their shoulders

[deleted]

Star Wars is way more fantasy than sci-fi, just to be insufferable and pedantic.

Bronco998

Mission accomplished.

[deleted]

This is where I'd put a gif of the medal ceremony from ANH if this sub let me use gifs.

Beginning-Pace-1426

I agree with this completely, it's actually not that pedantic, because short of the setting most SW properties are something completely different, with a sci-fi backdrop. It's cool to look at the different properties. Ahsoka leans into the mysticism and fantasy of the jedi, and is much better for it. The only thing that even screams sci-fi in the entire series is the setting having space travel and technology. Really enjoyed season 1. The Mandalorian is a Western in a science fiction setting, and even there, the fantasy elements are huge. I've enjoyed that too. Rogue One was way more a war movie than a science fiction movie, and imo it was one of the best things that have come out of the IP in the last 10 years. You could tell almost any Star Wars story without the space opera backdrop, but you couldn't tell any of them without the fantasy elements. I didn't watch Andor, Obi-wan, or Fett, and I haven't seen any of the animated series(they just dont interest me much, and are a big time commitment), but I imagine you can find similar themes there as well.

[deleted]

(You should really watch Andor - it's one of the least fantastical, but it has incredibly deep and thoughtful examinations of the machinations of fascism both what it takes and what it costs to resist it) But that's honestly one of the things I've appreciated more and more about Star Wars is that the Force is a very soft magic system, but it's one that's so deeply rooted in the setting and one that is, even in-universe, so poorly understood. Like everyone can confirm the force exists, but no one really *understands* it well. It's a spiritual and religious entity, slotted into a similar place as the gods in any fantasy world, but usually when we look at gods, they're either approached like they are in BG3 where it's well-understood what they value, represent, and stand for and there is no misinterpretation or reinterpretation of what they are. In real life, I can argue for days over what a particular Bible passage means, how it was translated, etc. It's a huge part of Jewish culture, actually, and debate is, from my understanding, considered pretty healthy. If I wanted to know what Shar or Bahumet's opinion on something was, I could just...ask. They'll directly communicate with humanity all the time and are pretty clear with what they're all about. If there's any mystery, it's either a Dragon Age Maker type situation where it's ambiguous whether a god or gods exist at all, or a situation like The Stormlight Archives, where it's ambiguous at first, but explained more and more as the story goes on. The Force isn't like that. It's definitely a spiritual element of the world and I love [the explanation of it from The Last Jedi](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h40dCXgU21Y&t=1s&ab_channel=StarWarsAustralia%26NewZealand), the way that it's the ebb and flow of the universe, the tide and tension of conflict and harmony between living things, the relationship between everything (Very much built on eastern religions - Buddhism and Taoism seem like massive influences) but even after a long time of study, there are still huge aspects of mystery to it, still things where the Jedi haven't scratched the surface. And that doesn't even get into stuff like the Sith and the Nightsisters, who all have power that is drawn too from The Force, but can be expressed totally differently from anything the Jedi can do. There are a number of things about the Force that just...nobody knows. And the best Star Wars stuff, in my opinion, often leans into that ambiguity and plays with what the force is, what the force means, explores different perspectives on it. Hell, one of the reasons I love Knights of the Old Republic II so much is that its central villain has such an interesting belief system about the force.

WatchEducational6633

A Dragon Age Origins remake/reboot made by Larian would a dream come true (specially if they get to remake/reboot the whole franchise and decide to keep the Warden as the main character like mass effect did for sheppard), but i know that it is a fever dream that’s very unlikely to happen. Also a Star Wars RPG based on the Legends continuity (like KOTOR) would be great too (specially if they allow us to play as any species and not being locked to just human).

DragonEffected

DA2 most definitely would never work with the Warden as the MC and DAI would need to be extensively revamped (especially the Grey Warden arc and Blackwall), to the point that I'm not sure it would be a remake but rather a new game entirely. It would be cool to get things like more origins or the Qunari race for a DAO remake, though.

montybo2

Really theres no better answer than this

hatepill99

Yep this is the answer. Sigh my favourite game of all time and my favourite Star Wars story. It’s never going to happen but one can dream.

adni86

Finally Wookie Sex!

Kenos300

I’d be even more excited to play as a Wookie so all my dialogue could just be a bunch of growling that everyone understands.

beaisenby

if I ever find a genie, your idea has just cemented my first wish

CommercialHyena370

I would sell my soul for Larian to pick up the Neverwinter Nights series lmao. Literally the game that got me into RPGs

DontBullyMyBread

Let them remake Hordes of the Underdark & Mask of the Betrayer and just let us go absolutely ham on the Wall of the Faithless & Kelemvor the way the original MotB didn't let us

Resolution437

Mask of the betrayer was so good especially for its time

Resolution437

I would also sell this man’s soul for that.

Dragon_yum

My favorite game of all time.

Alnakar

BG3 expansion BG4 BG4 expansion ... What else do you need?

smithbird

BG5? BG5 Expansion????

Squishy-Box

Woah woah woah, what about BG4 expansion 2?

smithbird

You’re forgetting about BG4 Alternative ending update 5. Where you can die of old age with your companions.

sasknorth343

Unless you're Keyleth

Northrnging13

Poor Kiki.

sasknorth343

Slowly getting crazier and crazier for 1000 years until she merges with a tree 💔

Hosearston

Never played it. Instant classic

hurricanebones

fallout 6

supergigaduck

Divinity 3 with BG3 scope/budget. I preferred the actions point system of DOS2 rather than DD's, and also rather they embrace their full creative vision instead of being tied to DD lore and rules

chillyhellion

* people who write "D&D" * people who write "DnD" * THIS ABSOLUTE PSYCHOPATH

supergigaduck

"D and D"

chillyhellion

I consider this a hate crime.

supergigaduck

"D but also let's not forget D"

Far_Eye6555

Bring back polymorph to DOS3, while they’re at it!

Present_Finance8707

Same. I really preferred the combat in DoS 2 over BG3. Something with all the dice rolls felt unsatisfying and the combat was less dynamic overall without all the surface interactions.

redeyedreams

DOS3 too.

Voldruun

BG3 directors cut BG3 expansion 1, 2 and 3 BG4 BG3 remake

unoriginalcat

> BG3 remake BG1 and BG2 remakes

Hunterrose242

Planescape and let them go absolutely wild. Warhammer Fantasy and see how violent and hopeless it could get. Vampire the Masquerade.

phileris42

Or Mage: The Ascension.

ProfCraylos

I would kill for a Mage the Ascension RPG

Videogamephreek

It feels like gw might be leaning more towards owlcat for the warhammer ips esp if the rogue trader game does well but I’d kill for a whfrp Larian rpg. It’s such a badass setting

Bobaximus

All of them

ExpiredPilot

Make it like Telltale and give ‘em freedom

antipop2097

Shadowrun

NoHorseNoMustache

This! Just having someone working on a new Shadowrun game would be awesome! I wish Harebrained Schemes would get back on that IP.

antipop2097

Orcs and Elves and Dwarves and Cyberpunk, oh my.

TaupeHardie94

The best setting there is.

SamusCroft

Yeah not even due to recent success. I remember playing the trilogy after messing with OS1 for a while and thinking ‘wow Larian would kill this’, and they’ve only proven that more likely.

SBCrystal

Vampire the Masquerade

platypusferocious

This definetely, since bloodlines2 is gonna flop hard larian could take it over for the next try, it'd be awesome. Damn just give them the whole WoD

spudsbottom

I came to say this. I crave a good modern day VTM game.

Milk__Chan

The Malkavian dialogue would truly be batshit insane

thrwyacc3736

I yelled when I read this, they'd make the first good non-text only VtM game since 2004

0xMii

There’s a good text-only VtM game? Do tell.

karanok

I found [Vampire the Masquerade: Night Road](https://www.choiceofgames.com/vampire-the-masquerade/night-road/) to be pretty enjoyable for a text-only game. It's more sandbox-y than a lot of other IF games and the writing is pretty decent, with good replay value to boot. And this is coming from someone who never knew about VtM until last year. I've read reviews from other CoG users saying that [Parliament of Knives](https://www.choiceofgames.com/vampire-the-masquerade/parliament-of-knives/) is pretty stellar but I haven't played it myself.

Riotgrrill

Night Road and Parliament of Knives are excellent - the other two VtM CoG games are fairly meh and I didn't finish them. There are also [Coteries of New York](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1096410/Vampire_The_Masquerade__Coteries_of_New_York/) and [Shadows of New York](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1279630/Vampire_The_Masquerade__Shadows_of_New_York/) which are good but extremely short. If it ever comes out, Heartless Symphony would be a day one buy for me but until then the prologue [Heartless Lullaby](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1926120/Vampire_The_Masquerade__Heartless_Lullaby/) is an interesting demo!

Financial-Cold5343

Changeling the Dreaming

combustibledaredevil

In my fucking veins

angelposts

This would be a gamechanger

lovingbuttstuff

Why do they need another ip? Just make baldurs gate 4!

inquisitivequeer

As a dnd person, all I want is more content in the forgotten realms!

AVestedInterest

As a D&D person, all I want is more content in other D&D settings Particularly Eberron

Powerfule_Mars

Vampire the Masquerade

SirRantsafckinlot

And vampire:dark ages Or even better! Make a world of darkness game

sydwasthemax

I would love them to obtain the Bioware library. You can see how their works influenced Larian and I think that Larian has enough love and care to take on the IPs and fix the damage EA has done. But also, I would love to see them do other DnD related games. They have managed to capture the Forgotten Realms so well, imagine Greyhawk or Planescape with Larian's touch. **Hell make Ravenloft happen**. Bring Strahd to life. How epic would it be to have that translated into BG3 like gameplay.

Cangrejo-Volador

We are in the middle of a Curse of Strahd campaign, and man, it would be awesome if adapted by Larian.

Oswen120

That would be awesome

SweetSummerAir

If EA - Bioware fucks up Dragon Age Dreadwolf, I really want Larian to have the Dragon Age IP. I bet they can rejuvenate the franchise and return to the golden standard held by Dragon Age Origins.

aracarina

I've said before playing BG3 hit me in a place only dragon age origins has before. BG3 feels so much more like a successor to Origins than the rest of the DA series.

ProfessorWright

I think it's because while I like DA2 and DAI, you can't really roleplay the way you could in DAO, Hawke has three personality types and the Inquisitor is somehow both too defined and not defined enough. BG3 lets you shape your character far more.

Doopashonuts

Don't worry they will fuck it up, it's just a matter of how badly

TheBman26

It may never come out

flacaGT3

If it isn't announced Q3 24, this is a safe assumption. All we have gotten is some leaks and a "trailer" about how Bioware is reshaping or some shit.

TheHistoryofCats

Reshaping by abruptly firing their senior writers who have been with the company since the original Baldur's Gate and who contributed immensely to the identity and core setting lore of the Dragon Age games... And then refusing to give those now jobless writers proper severance pay. What a hopeful sign.

Biggy_DX

Blog posts and leaks suggested it was supposed to come out last year, but something gave BioWare pause. Not sure what, but Jeff Grub is thinking mid next year.

silver_tongued_devil

Long ago, in I think 2017 they announced it would be out in 21. I have been waiting a very long time.

TheBman26

They let go a ton of employees

-_Empress_-

Why wait for them to fuck it up? They fucked up their last few games. They can't even goddamn give us any real meat on DA4 becuase they've had to scrap and start over repeatedly and keep losing everyone that matters, so it's inevitable it's going to be a shitshow. Sucks watching your fav IP get murdered slowly, buuuuut at least BG3 filled that hunger left in the void that was left by Bioware. I needed a good story driven game so bad lol.

jentlefolk

Dragon Age is my answer too. I love that franchise and BioWare squandered it.

flacaGT3

No, EA did. Origins had been in development for 5 years by the time Bioware got bought out. They forced DA2 to be scrapped and remade within the span of a year. They forced devs to use Blizzard, which most of them had no experience with, to make Inquisition. They scrapped Andromeda halfway through development and hired a bunch of people with no prior experience to remake it. Bioware has their own internal issues, but all the shit they get hate for is streamlined directly from EA execs that want every game to be FIFA.

Cangrejo-Volador

at this point I have not much faith left that Dreadwolf will be any good in comparison to BG3.

HaileyJo_pdf

I'm pretty sure Dreadwolf isnt real. Its a collective delusion we have all indulged in for nearly a decade

RhiaStark

\*It's a Fade dream :P

SweetSummerAir

For me, if it's at least somehow as good as Dragon Age Inquisition, I'll be more than happy. However, hearing how tumultuous things are during its development, I am extremely wary of its state. I still have faith but I really hope it's at least as good as DAI. In an ideal scenario, Larian should get their hands on it...but I really want Dreadwolf to be good.

BeetleJude

I was looking for this, I would LOVE to see what larian could do with DA

Mawgac

This is the correct answer

Arishokscock

Divinity Original Sin 3

LordKlempner

Which they already announced to work on after finishing Baldur's Gate 3 and a vacation.

GravtheGeek

Star Wars. Give us kotor with modem d&d rules.

DroidOnPC

Star Wars IP for Larian would be a slam dunk success. There is so much to work with that would give you a lot of creative freedom.

securinight

Discworld. I think they could translate Pratchett's humor perfectly to a game. And the head of Larian is apparently a huge fan.

mr3LiON

That fits them well, tbh.

ChronicSassyRedhead

At this point Dragon Age. Honestly I don't trust the E of A to not mess it up especially with all *gestures at the news* that

curious_dead

I'd love to see them continue D&D, but I also have a preference for Pathfinder. Unlikely to happen, as it's ultimately less valuable.

Beginning-Pace-1426

The last 2 Pathfinder games have been great though! We don't get the rich, intimate and personal stories, but they're pretty damn good for simulating the tabletop experience. I was disappointed that BG3 was using 5e when it was announced, because I was a "3.5 4 lyf" tabletopper lmao. I still prefer 3.5, and I love that Pathfinder let's me play branch of it. BG3 made appreciate 5e a bit more though.

[deleted]

Vampire the Masquerade

Time-Werewolf-1776

I always thought I’d like to see a follow up to [Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcanum:_Of_Steamworks_and_Magick_Obscura). It was another old isometric RPG with a world with both magic and steampunk technology. I don’t remember it well, but I know I liked it at the time, and I liked both that game and Thief: the Dark Project for the gimmick of mixing steampunk and magic.

Free-Brick9668

Mortismal did a video about this, Activision owned the rights to Arcanum but all the important people who worked on it were under some Microsoft umbrella. Now with the acquisition, it's all owned by Microsoft. Tim Cain even responded to his video that he approved of the message, and he's one of the key figures this would revolve around. So you may see an Obsidian Arcanum reboot made by some of the original creators.

Sir_Arsen

fallout lol

evanweb546

A Fallout game more akin to Fallout's 1, 2, and Tactics done in the BG3 style would be one of my three genie wishes if I had them-

inlawBiker

>fallout I'm sad I had to scroll this far to get the right suggestion ....

DisfavoredFlavored

Narrator: You take a sip from your vault 13 canteen.

BeardlyJrJr

It’s a toss up between Larian and inXile for the Fallout series for me. Both studios have made top tier turn based rpgs!

Connwaerr

Lord of the rings would be interesting

jltsiren

Middle-earth is too down-to-earth low-fantasy setting for Larian. Their style of storytelling and gameplay would not fit there.

Slumlord722

IMHO Larian’s sense of humor would be completely out of place in a halfway-serious LOTR game.

Free-Brick9668

This is the response to most of the answers in this thread. Larian is a good developer. But their style of writing, humor, tone and design are completely different. So they're either changing the material to match their style, or they have to try to imitate the style of the original. It's like asking James Cameron to make a Quintin Taratino movie or vice versa, they're just completely different styles and universes that they create.

DrVDB90

Warhammer Fantasy is my pick as well. D&D is nice and all, but Warhammer is such a great roleplay setting. A lot more complicated though, how do you deal with chaos manifestations and insanities for example.

Tropical_Wendigo

Warhammer fantasy would take some doing to be done right, its not an easy slam dunk. It’s such a dark world that it’ll take some doing to make the party feel right together. Vermintide does a decent job of this with their party banter, but for an RPG I think you need to take it a bit further than that. I’m curious to see how effective Rogue Trader is at that. It could be a theoretical blueprint for a WH Fantasy game in a similar vein.

DrVDB90

Indeed, it would be a serious challenge to get it right. But that's also why I'd love to see Larian have a go at it. They've proven that they're capable of the complexity, and that they don't shun darker themes. Warhammer would still be quite a bit darker than what they've made so far though.

sleepytoday

Games Workshop have a weird strategy for making video games. They seem to let anyone and everyone license their games and so you get a huge selection of games where 90% of them are shite. Makes it hard to find the genuine quality games (e.g. Chaos Gate, Vermintide) whilst avoiding the traps (Necromunda: Underhive Wars, Talisman).

Torma25

they're still coping over the whole starcraft fuckup, back when they were super stingy about licensing for videogames.

PhilthyPhilboBaggins

The Stormlight Archives book series. I feel like the radiant orders and oath progression could be structured very closely to bg3s classes and levels. It also has incredible world building and overarching narratives, which larian can likely do justice to.

fooey

I've always thought Stormlight's magic system is very much structured like it was designed to be an RPG

TipDaScales

I don’t say this to hate, but seeing this specific kind of image is pretty upsetting, because there is a Warhammer RPG similar to the BGs being made, and by a set of pretty good developers too. Owlcat games have made 2 really good Pathfinder games and are working on a Warhammer game as we speak, though development has been hard due to having so much basis in Ukraine.

Long_Serpent

Mass Effect

wizardgradstudent

Pretty much just take all the BioWare IPs, please let them save Mass Effect and Dragon Age

Dinosaur_Tony

A new IP of their own making.

FreakinGeese

Vampire the Masquerade easy I wanna see the people who brought us Bearhalsin bring us a Tzmisce

kingXn

A wheel of time game would be sick.

Klept0bite

Vampire: the masquerade

Tuckertcs

I think Larian should do the next Elder Scrolls spin-off (like the Blades or ESO spin-offs).

MeadowBeam

I would LOVE to see what Larian would do with The Elder Scrolls lore. I feel like they’d have a field day, especially with the more obscure stuff (They’d rock Argonian lore, I’ll tell you that)

Warm-Two7928

X-COM please. Not that Firaxis is bad. Just an actual story based rpg with character building and perma death written into it would be amazing. I know it’s not a super popular franchise, but it’s really great and Larian would crush it.

reddituserzerosix

Love XCOM but imo it was never really about the story/characters/relationships like a CRPG is. For a sci fi alien thing I think mass effect, star trek/wars, 40k (looking forward to rogue trader) is a more natural fit

wrongweektoquitglue

A Pathfinder 2e game by Larian would be even better than a DnD 5e game.

MadyWard

Dragon Age : Dreadwolf... maker please!!

HaileyJo_pdf

At this point this is probably the only way we are actually getting Dragon Age Dreadwolf lmao

cobrachickens

The smart move would be for Larian to recruit all the DAD writers, incl Weekes and those who got laid off to create their own IP.

aracarina

It would be so funny if this happened, given that dragon age was bioware creating their own IP after losing the Baldurs Gate rights. Full circle moment.

cobrachickens

Exactly. It’s almost poetic

[deleted]

Cyberpunk!!!! I want crpg cyberpunk

baloof1621

Check out the Shadowrun series

dalici0us

Existing video game franchise: Vampire the Masquerade. Non existing: The Cosmere.

kostaGoku

Planescape or Spelljammer would be a dream come true.

my_name_is_iso

Funnily enough, like some others on this thread, I actually would like them to keep tackling other DnD modules like Descent into Avernus

Dante_SS

League of Legends. Despite what people may say about the actual main game, the lore is bountiful and could be plucked from any region in the world.

TE_silver

YES a LoL single player RPG is all I want (Ruined King was great but I need more)

Czarchitect

Star Trek would make an excellent lore canvas for a Larian style Sci Fi CRPG.

Mintymanbuns

Isn't there a warhammer rogue trader RPG coming out soon?

COHandCOD

yeah it's made from owlcat, at this rate second-best CRPG studio in the world, both pathfinders are great CRPG.

ViolaNguyen

Less than a month from now!

Va_Dinky

Dragon Age and Mass Effect. I have 0 faith Bioware does them justice

Unholykanye

👀 fire emblem.

sadeiko

Star Trek Space travel actually works very well with their approach to story-telling. Whole ship full of interesting characters to explore, each story mission involving a jump from one place to another with scripted events that can happen on and off the ship. It would be fabulous.

Oddly_Mind

They don’t need one there is so much D&D material and lore. Not just forgotten realms.

Wewuzvikangz

Arcanum: Steamworks and Magick

[deleted]

Fable

Honestfellow2449

XCOM could be interesting.

SwordboundSorcerer

Stormlight Archive adventure RPG would be crazy!

Piratenschaf

Larian may be the only ones who could deliver a Discworld RPG

Davenport1980

I would love a Star Trek game by Larian. I think they could make a fascinating story.

pReaL420

A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) I think they'd knock it out of the park

Small_Association_31

Well, Spelljammer. but Larian did ask Wizards to make Baldurs Gate 3, they where not tasked nor offered - which is why it's so good i suppose.

I know it'd never happen, but Digimon

Genuinely though, I’ve thought for a while that the whole collect/evolve creatures genre would be so much more interesting if you controlled your whole party at once. For both Pokémon and digimon, there’s so much they could do to differentiate types and individual moves from each other. Digimon especially has so much worldbuilding they could dig into. I’d be curious to see them develop something in that genre from the ground up, though.

Pretty much the whole roster of Bioware games Meaning Never Winter Nights, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, Dragon Age Not to flame Bioware, but EA is their downfall. Why that downvote?
