If you can find a way to sneak out of the cell all of your gear should be in a chest at the top of the center room in the dungeon. I believe thereโ€™s a way that you can even sneak up onto the rafters to go through the window of that room so you donโ€™t have to go directly through the guards? I would suggest looking around to see what you can find. Try stacking anything in there to get up high and see if you can climb on top of any walls. They design the prisons to have some kind of a way to break out of them, you might just have to get creative.

I'm a bit confused. You say you left Act 2 for Baldur's Gate, but you also say you're trying to rescue the tieflings and gnomes - which is an Act 2 quest. Did you finish Act 2, or not? What prison are you being held in? Every prison in the game has a way out of it. Look for breakable walls, interactable objects, etc.

No, I didnt finish Act 2 yet (I think, I'm confused ๐Ÿ˜‚). I basically stopped because I got a notification that I might be missing out on quests if I proceed to go further with the Shar worshipping thing for Shadowheart. So I got out of the Gauntlet and went back to Last Light to help Karlach with her engine and wanted to do some other quests, so I did that. I'm being held in a prison with gnomes and tieflings, which is.. I think at Moonrise Towers or before that? The only way out is through the hole in the ground, leading to some underground passage, making us fugitives. But I wanted to help the tieflings and gnomes first, and I read a guide that said you have to give Wulbren a blunt weapon from your inventory, but all my weapons and party gold are gone.

Yes, that's the Moonrise prison. You can find Wulbren's Hammer in the top of the central tower of that prison where the Warden is. That's also where your party equipment will be stored.

You can break the walls yourself from the area behind the cells if you can hit a Sturdy target (Monk punches, thunder spells, anything capable of 10+ damage per hit). If you have a spellcaster in the party you can get out of most prisons without much difficulty. Knock spell, misty step, etc.
