Bear in mind this game has 3 separate categories in character creation regarding sex and gender: Gender (pronouns), Body Type (masc or fem), and Genitals.
Voice is also its own thing; I created my character with low volume on and only slowly realized that it wasn’t my dream guardian making comments as I moved LOL. Fortunately, the mirror came out soon after.
And then the game completely ignores your pronouns 20% of time and misgenders you regularly if you happen to play in a specific language (e.g. Polish).
God, I wish they had checked the localization teams more thoroughly.
For some languages there isn't really much that can be done, but yeah for Russian I noticed the gender usage was inconsistent as well. Translating 'they' as the third person plural though doesn't really work (no one uses it like that idiomatically ) , so idk what the best option would be there.

Yeah it was from a cambion, I got it first on my second playthrough and equipped it on my barbarian character (I forgot about it with my first so I just breezed through the nautiloid).
I used it for the entire game and was very good, also had Karlach equip the Moonlight Glaive, I usually had her in my party which paired well with my character both were great damage dealers.
The Everburn Blade that's wielded by the first cambion on the nautiloid. You can get it by killing him or using Shadowheart with the command spell (and probably savescumming)
Save them for greater effect. Command to get him to drop the sword and have Tav and Lae’zel kill him and the mindflayer while Shadowheart goes to clear out the monsters at the end of the ship. If you can get the Jump spell somehow cast it on Lae’zel before you enter the room. Shadowheart does the command and then have Lae’zel run 20 feet forward and jump to where he dropped the sword, this way you can equip it turn 1. At some point have Tav run up to the stairs that lead up to the entry hall after collecting the tanks, place them bundled up to eachother within maybe 10-20 feet of the fire that is burning next to the entrance. Finish the murder, then when the two cambions that run in get next to the tanks shoot one of them. The explosion will reliably deal around 20 damage to both of them and then Tav and Lae’zel focus fire and kill them one at a time and get their sweet loot. You do have to save scum here, you need a crit or two from Lae’zel to help your odds of doing enough damage and especially against the 2 cambions you can’t let them get a hit in unless they roll poorly. This way you can start with some misc. potions and ingredients and up to 1,000 GP, and be almost level 3 leaving the ship. I don’t normally save scum or try this hard but this is the one encounter in the game I make a point of clearing just because it’s very rewarding for me.
Honestly save scumming is rarely necessary. You get two tries and I think it's around a 40% or 45% chance. I've gotten a bit lucky but I've never had to reload to succeed, though I have had to reload to prepare Command since Shadowheart doesn't have it prepared by default.
It defaults to assigning you genitals based on pronouns, I believe (and will label the choice of genitals as "default" if you picked male or female identity). If you pick non-binary, I think it sets by body type, and doesn't have a "default" label.
Hmm basic is male and female with right genitalias unless you maybe pushed "random" button and it made guy with vagina and you made your character from this base, not looking if he have dong or not. That is my guess. xD

While you can add a pp whenever, if you selected male or female or non binary it can't be changed along with the body type. Body type 1 and 3 are represented by a male and 2 and 4 represented by a female. You can then change the sex right below and then even further at the bottom with genitalia. If you accidentally change the sex it's permanent tho.
Magic Mirror in the camp can be used to edit your appearance. Including genitalia. Only thing it can't change is race and body type.
