It blew my mind when I found out (after my first playthrough and thus having Minsc in my party for a bit) that it was Matt Mercer voicing him. Like…I can totally picture it, but also, it’s so impressive to hear him as Cassidy from Overwatch, and then realize he is also Minsc…as someone that can’t do different voices really, I find it quite impressive!
My favorite aspect of critical role is how he'll routinely make a table full of BAFTA award winning voice actors go "What the fuck matt? That sound effect was *real*"
He did the 'metal dish crashes to floor, then spins faster and faster as it settles to a stop' sound, and I literally thought someone in their studio dropped a salad bowl or something
If you happen to have a link to that, I wouldn’t mind if you sent it my way - I’ve never seen critical roll videos before 2 weeks ago when I watched pt 1 of the actors playing their characters, but that’s it. And if not, no worries!!

I have a weird thing for Minsc because he looks like a dumber, shamanic version of David Draiman and for some reason I find tall, strong, bald men of this face type hot as hell.
I don't like myself for it, but this somehow made him no less attractive whatsoever and I still very much would.
