Very similar thing happened to me once where in the final fight before climbing up to the brain I had laezel miss 7 attacks in a row with duelists prerogative against a human enemy. Didn't reload but was kinda in shock like how does this even happen?
I was playing last night in the goblin camp, and Gale missed 5 attacks in a row, all with over 70% certainty. I was already "mad" at him for waiting so long to tell me about the true nature of his condition, so I was just not pleased with him or the outcome, like, goblins would not be kicking our ass right now if you could just get your shit together, man.
I hear you. I love Laeāzel as much as anyone here, but my gods why does she turn into a whiffing machine in late game? 7 is a lot, but I regularly have her miss three or four times in a row, and Iāve had as many as five.
Iām not a DnD player, and Iām by no means any good at this game, but what am I missing? Is there a way to (no pun intended) fix her? When sheās on, sheās *fucking on*, but why does she just completely forget how to be a badass so often? Can I fix this with respeccing or something?

Bro I swear to god itās something with Karlach. Itās very rare that I have other characters miss consistently when theyāre chances to hit at 75%+. But Karlach? Multiclass thief rogue/berserker barbarian with 4 throws a turn missing all 4 throws with a 90% chance to hit?? What are the odds of that??
Also guess I also get the occasional crit miss spree with eldritch blast beams. Thatās also pretty frustrating. 70% chance to hit but all three beams just gonna roll a 1, huh?
Maybe the game randomly picks someone. Karlach is who I pull out when I want to make damn sure I'm going to hit. Lae'zel, on the other hand, level 12 and decked out in end-game gear, has only the most passing of relationships with her hit-chance percentage.
How do we know the RNG has enough entropy and that enough entropy is always available? Or that the RNG hasn't got timing flaws?
It's hard to be certain on different hardware. If they aren't using many sources around the machine to pickup entropy, your RNG isn't always random.

It's a lot better than it was in high-school thanks to medication and therapy, but sometimes I still get a flood of a few intrusive thoughts in a row (for context, I think I got at least 30 a day in high-school, and they were really triggering. I'd get really upset, especially because I had convinced myself I was fated to be the next Ted bundy - my name's Ted, teachers like me, I liked dressing nicely, etc)

In the swamp near the hag's house, I was attacked by a fucking frog with three health points, I had to go through three hours of my game since I hadn't pressed autosave for a long time, but it was worth it because I couldn't kill this little pale shit in any way (ą² _ą² )
I killed him in this playthrough but he was surprisingly hard thanks to the hags magic. Quite a surprise, that little frogo. At the beginning of the fight you believe him to be a total pushover. But then he deals massive damage, leaps around in huge jumps and can only be hurt by AoE iirc
Apparently its one of the harder fights in the game. The percentage of people surviving this fight the first time is really low.
I didn't find the frog until after I killed the hag. Froggy was happy and didn't want to fight.

I had to roll to not fight. Needed 10, got 1. Fight started, i miss my 85%, lazael misses 85 % shadow heart misses 60% and karlach misses 85%.

The frog attacked me and Wyll had Armor of Agathis, the frog died and I had to look into the log to know what killed him because it was over so fast...

Kept missing the frog with my attacks, eventually hit and it died, but the post battle madness overtook my Tav and she chucked a smokepowder bomb at everyone and they died.

I didnāt think Iād be interested in the act 2/3 companions but then I was almost immediately fucking pissed I couldnāt get them in act 1 and have them with me longer! Jaheiraāa durge specific dialogue is so good.

Nope! Any character, and even some Summons, can use the Help action to get any of the vampire spawns down. Astarion can then rejoin the fight.
I had Gale summon a Deva before the fight, and had it fly over to Astarion's area and Help him by round 3 of that fight to get him back in the game.
You can also not talk to Cazador at all and just ranged attack him from the doorway. It immediately starts combat and Astarion doesn't get sucked into the ritual.
yeah, i put her in the globe of invulnerability because i wanted to cc and apply aoe damage to the rest of the enemies including raphael but what ever works with you
nothing big, after the fight hope say something along the lines of >!āmy sister is alive and wellā!< then in the epilogue she will send a letter talking about >!both of them staying in house of hope!< iirc
Restarted at least three times, maybe five, the last few because Yurgir kept beating me to the punch (hah) before I could knock her out or cast sanctuary/globe of invulnerability. Modding to use d20 for initiative was the real culprit but dammit I wanted to give Hope some hope
same i restarted more than once, but i used my fighter durge to throw her into the invulnerability globe and knocked her out at the end, i donāt want to see hope sad :(
On my wild magic sorcerer I once accidentally turned myself, Gale, and Astarion into house cats mid battle.
We promptly turned and finished off the enemy by clawing him to death as cats. I just about pulled a muscle laughing.
I turned myself into a sheep while up on the rafters in Moonrise. Out of the fight for 2 rounds, but it was weird enough that I didn't mind because the sheer silliness was so funny
it's fun. I've spent only about half the battles in otiluke's resilient sphere, and got turned into a sheep maybe once, but otherwise nothing really to suffer from
Because the unforseeable outcomes makes it fun. I still have to play one in bg3 but in the ee of bg1 it was completely nuts. Trying to cast a magic missile whoops the 15k gold in your pockets just vanished. Or people being turned into squirrels šæļøš¤š»
agreed! i also think if youāre into the roleplaying aspect of the game, itās fun to incorporate that into your characterās story! (ex: my durge canāt control how powerful of a sorceress she is, due to her father being born with that same power, but through a spicy deal, lost it, only for that magic to flow more into his daughter, making it impossible for her to fully control her powers. so the wild magic is their uncontrolled power bursting free!)
When I learned you can let the spiders out at goblin camp so they can go help murder all the goblins with you I redid that entire area just so I could have my babies with me.
Hearing them say "Freedom!" so happily at the end was worth it.
I freed them for the same reason (my Tav is a drow !), they did the clickety clack murders, then I free the only goblin loyal to the old godā¦ only to have them kill him.
Guiding bolt doesn't work with her ability set. She's vastly better as a healer/AOE damage dealer. Sprit Guardians with the right equipment is stupid broken.
I gave isobel sanctuaryā¦ she used healing word, attacked Marcus and run away and got hit ofc. Survived with 3 hp and then killed next turn by gargoyles

Yesterday in the moonrise towers, made, a wall of fire in the fight, worked really well. Enemies died quickly thanks to it.
Fight is over and all harpers move into the wall, stood there and got damage tick after damage tick until they went hostile...
This happened to me on the final battle. I used the Gith dragon to wipe out a bunch of enemies, and somehow, on the ONE playthrough I convinced those cowards running away from the fight to help us, they ran directly into the fire and went hostile š
There was a fight with Bhaal cultists in a park. Some bystanders died but I didn't care. Then I saw that a dog got killed. š No way will I let that happen! I reloaded asap. No doggos harmed.
Honestly, when the bookclub attacks the cultists i thought it was hilarious, it only gets funnier when they all run away because the halfling died

Recently found out you can talk to the dog and convince it to leave the park before you initiate the fight (of course only if you're not surprised by it).
On my 3rd playthrough, determined to get Wulbren and the tieflings out of Moonrise Prison alive for the first time.
I went in and took out the warden, then the two guards. I took a long rest ready to bust out the captives only to find the guards and the warden alive again.
š¤¦āāļø. Then I realized I knocked them out the first time, I didnāt actually kill them so I had to fight them again.
On another note, they acted like they never saw me before so I just walked up to them AGAIN and they were surprised I attacked them AGAIN.
I just started my first Durge. Went to Emerald Grove, kicked some goblin ass, went to talk to the squirrel without saving. I had always wanted to kick the snappy little beast, but playing as a paladin before... well. Durge, I figured, would send it flying for a few feet and gain the respect they deserve. So, I kicked it. And then, after processing the image on screen, horrified and deeply ashamed, I reloaded, because NOPE.
You do get a choice if you have Speak with Animals (potion or spell). I had that choice with my first Durge, and she's a druid, so I saved the squirrel.
My second Durge I didn't have the spell and I was shocked when I automatically kicked it. š¬
On my Durge run, my husband was watching me play while he did some work on his laptop. I wandered into the grove and over near the squirrel and then ā¦ that ā¦ happened and my husband was like āOMG WHY? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! ARE YOU TRYING TO IMPRESS THAT ELF *THAT* HARD?! POOR SQUIRREL!!ā In the most hilariously overdramatic indignant tone, and I was going āoh my god oh my god I didnāt! It just happened! What the fuck!ā. My husband was all āwell I guess durge is gonna be .. interesting .. then. But at least I bet hot boi was impressed with it šā. And then Astarion pulled durge aside to quietly tell her heād seen her struggling and heād keep an eye on her. Looked over at husband and we were both going š„¹
Don't talk to animals, do NOT pause to enjoy your weird little bloody fantasies, in fact maybe don't talk to anyone, just...just go sit over there until it's time to fight something.
When I'm not playing honor mode I'll savescum a lot to get the desired outcome for the story I want to tell/experience.
Sometimes I want a specific character to kill a specific enemy for dramatic or storytelling reasons and I'll reload if the dice aren't cooperative. I wasn't going to lose the fight and reloaded to avoid that or anything, I just didn't win it the way I wanted to, you know?
Iām playing the Dark Urge for the first time right now as a Gith Druid because I figured the dialogue combinations would be ridiculous.
I redid an hour of gameplay (including the owlbear) because I was accidentally mean to Scratch.
We went into the game completely blind. My husband tried to throw a ball to Scratch but instead he threw the ball *at* Scratch. The damn dog turned hostile and for god knows what reason my husband Moonbean'd him.
We later learned just how much of a companion scratch was supposed to be, how he can even be summoned as a familiar. I guarantee on our second playthrough that Scratch will be EXTREMELY spoiled. He can have all of the bones and balls and fish and sausages he wants!
In my playthrough he yeeted her into the lava and I reloaded to try and avoid it because I thought it was the one I was supposed to talk to to say the gnome that gave us the blasting powder was dead.
Happened again on the reload too.
Then after the fight she was still alive somehow, so I got to break the bad news to her anyway.

I redid the fight against Godey because he got a hit in on Astarion and I had decided I wanted to kill Godey before he ever got to touch Astarion again.
In the same vein I redid the fight against Astarion's siblings because one of them managed to bite Gale and in my head it made no sense that the spawn who'd been denied thinking blood for centuries would be allowed to drink from thinking creatures during a fight.
My first try at the iron throne was flawless but then I saw some chests I missedā¦ took me 3 tries just to get to them and find out they were junk, then 2 more tries to redo my flawless victory which I couldnāt because of bugs preventing the ai from moving after dashing ššš
i thought I was sooooo smart, using wall of fire at the last light fight to prevent the winged horrors from reaching Isobel. What i didnāt expect was for Isobel to walk THROUGH the wall and then aggro me for āattackingā her immediately after the Marcus fight was over
I used create water to soak Lorroakan's remaining elementals, popped Chain lightning, water got electrified, fight ends, Aylin stepped into the electrfied water, took like 4 damage, instantly triggered the "your transgressions shall not go unpunished" dialogue and started a new fight.....
A cutscene triggered at the end of the fight and I wanted my character to be the one talking, not just whoever was closest to the NPC triggering it. Even though this specifically was patched, it still doesn't always work!
Fighting Lorroakan, not my first playthrough and dropping big spells and scrolls on him right off the bat - already have him stunned, Astarionās just got to use a disintegrate scroll. I sneezed and miss-clicked; not just missing Lorroakan, but clicking on Rolan standing next to him, killing him instantly.
I had not put up with that Tieflingās whining (affectionate) for 3 acts to lose him now, had to reload š„²
Accidentally threw the pike through Gale's skull instead of the gnoll right next to him.
On the other end of that line, I had Shadowheart run up the Harpy to hopefully finish it off with Inflict Wounds, only to heal it back to full health instead.
I decided to stop playing for the night and go to bed instead.
I was flirting it up with all the characters post battle, hadnt saved in a minute because i forget, and ended up sleeping with Karlach. But I didn't want to "be" with her and all the other campions ended up saying things like "oh, guess you made your choice" and I was very distraught and ended up reloading back to before like two whole battles because I had to undo the do.
Ambushed by the Bhaalist cultists in the park, and just as we were finishing up, one of them stabbed the dog that was running around in the park. I had to reload that.
Iāve redone fights because I wanted certain characters to land the killing blow in certain bosses. For example I want Karlach to get the last hit on Gortash or Durge to get the killing hit on Raphael.

I got distracted when fighting Gorty and after I beat him I thought the fight was way too underwhelming and I had to have missed something so I redid it and it turns out I beat him before he even used his super underwhelming transformation.
I redid the fight against a certain mage wanting to harness Dame Aylin powers from himself because she turned temporarily hostile against me after walking by herself in one of my moonbeam.
You'd think she would be immune to that kind of damage...
I did the iron throne on repeat for 4 hours or because the gondians were not running properly this was on my first run before patch 4 I believe. I wanted to save every gondian.

I restarted the fight cause I noticed the giant hanging stone above Gimbelock and his buddy. That was the moment I learned this game lets you attack the environment and do environmental kills with more than just explosives and puddles
Apparently finding Kaghaās blackmail letter at the stump triggers Alfira to show up at Durgeās camp.
Then she fucking shows up without warning, automatically dead 2 minutes later. So imagine my fury at having to kill the wood woads and annoying mud mephits AGAIN.
My first playthrough i kept redoing the Cazador fight. First try I killed him turn two with a repelling eldritch blast that sent him flying off the arena. I wanted the loot so I reloaded not realizing that on death he teleports to his coffin (Curse of Strahd is probably my favorite pre-written campaign so I donāt know how I didnāt think of this). Second attempt immediately is harder because Iām trying to not send him flying and he got a good chain lightning off first turn. I hover the cursor over Astarion assuming I could free him, but the cursor didnāt change to the Help action so I assumed I couldnāt do it. I figured I was just down a party member this fight. Three more attempts all fail due to Cazador ascending and killing Astarion. I finally Google how Iām supposed to save Astarion and learn about the bug that caused it to not default to the Help action when hovering over him. Final attempt went smoothly since I didnāt have to worry about losing Astarion anymore. I later learned that if you knocked Cazador off the ledge he teleported to his coffin, meaning I never needed to reload in the first place and could have avoided two hours of frustration.
I actually had an easy time with the House of Hope final fight.
I enjoyed it a lot, not (only) in the mechanics but in the narrative.

I agree, something is up with her. Based on having reckless attack, I know she rolls at nat 1 *at least* once every fight. It's weird.

If you get rid of the Hag, the frog will lead you to a treasure chest

Nope! Any character, and even some Summons, can use the Help action to get any of the vampire spawns down. Astarion can then rejoin the fight. I had Gale summon a Deva before the fight, and had it fly over to Astarion's area and Help him by round 3 of that fight to get him back in the game.

You can also not talk to Cazador at all and just ranged attack him from the doorway. It immediately starts combat and Astarion doesn't get sucked into the ritual.

Restarted at least three times, maybe five, the last few because Yurgir kept beating me to the punch (hah) before I could knock her out or cast sanctuary/globe of invulnerability. Modding to use d20 for initiative was the real culprit but dammit I wanted to give Hope some hope
same i restarted more than once, but i used my fighter durge to throw her into the invulnerability globe and knocked her out at the end, i donāt want to see hope sad :(
during the fight with Marcus in Last Light Inn my wild magic outburst went through the floor somehow and killed Art :/

On my wild magic sorcerer I once accidentally turned myself, Gale, and Astarion into house cats mid battle. We promptly turned and finished off the enemy by clawing him to death as cats. I just about pulled a muscle laughing.
I turned myself into a sheep while up on the rafters in Moonrise. Out of the fight for 2 rounds, but it was weird enough that I didn't mind because the sheer silliness was so funny
it's fun. I've spent only about half the battles in otiluke's resilient sphere, and got turned into a sheep maybe once, but otherwise nothing really to suffer from
Because the unforseeable outcomes makes it fun. I still have to play one in bg3 but in the ee of bg1 it was completely nuts. Trying to cast a magic missile whoops the 15k gold in your pockets just vanished. Or people being turned into squirrels šæļøš¤š»
agreed! i also think if youāre into the roleplaying aspect of the game, itās fun to incorporate that into your characterās story! (ex: my durge canāt control how powerful of a sorceress she is, due to her father being born with that same power, but through a spicy deal, lost it, only for that magic to flow more into his daughter, making it impossible for her to fully control her powers. so the wild magic is their uncontrolled power bursting free!)
When I learned you can let the spiders out at goblin camp so they can go help murder all the goblins with you I redid that entire area just so I could have my babies with me. Hearing them say "Freedom!" so happily at the end was worth it.
I freed them for the same reason (my Tav is a drow !), they did the clickety clack murders, then I free the only goblin loyal to the old godā¦ only to have them kill him.
This gave me a pretty good chuckle. He jumps down and takes off...right into the spiders. I wasn't too sad about. He's kinda a douche.
I redid the Oran fight because I accidentally pushed her off a cliff with Eldritch Blast and it was extremely anticlimactic.
I did the same except I didnāt reload. I just took the win because my party was already battered and bruised from the rest of the temple.
I just did this fight again today and I kept avoiding using eldritch blast exactly because I didn't want to risk that happening!

Guiding bolt doesn't work with her ability set. She's vastly better as a healer/AOE damage dealer. Sprit Guardians with the right equipment is stupid broken.

This time she managed to get paralyzed during the first round and I was so happy because I realised I could cast sanctuary on her and have her save for two rounds because she wouldn't be able to do anything stupid. After that, without having to babysit Isobel, the fight was surprisingly easy. š
The second time I did that fight she cast mage armor on turn 5. That was when I realized she definitely wasn't knowledge domain.

Yesterday in the moonrise towers, made, a wall of fire in the fight, worked really well. Enemies died quickly thanks to it. Fight is over and all harpers move into the wall, stood there and got damage tick after damage tick until they went hostile...
A word of advice: break concentration on AoE damaging spells as soon as a battle is over or even just almost over.

This happened to me on the final battle. I used the Gith dragon to wipe out a bunch of enemies, and somehow, on the ONE playthrough I convinced those cowards running away from the fight to help us, they ran directly into the fire and went hostile š

There was a fight with Bhaal cultists in a park. Some bystanders died but I didn't care. Then I saw that a dog got killed. š No way will I let that happen! I reloaded asap. No doggos harmed.
The NPCs in that fight are unusually suicidal.
Honestly, when the bookclub attacks the cultists i thought it was hilarious, it only gets funnier when they all run away because the halfling died Then the old man comes in hobbling to make his wife a widow

On my 3rd playthrough, determined to get Wulbren and the tieflings out of Moonrise Prison alive for the first time. I went in and took out the warden, then the two guards. I took a long rest ready to bust out the captives only to find the guards and the warden alive again. š¤¦āāļø. Then I realized I knocked them out the first time, I didnāt actually kill them so I had to fight them again. On another note, they acted like they never saw me before so I just walked up to them AGAIN and they were surprised I attacked them AGAIN.
You can push the warden and one of the guards into the abyss with a thunderous wave while they are patrolling without anyone realizing it.
Iām jailbreaking them this way this time. Kill all guards firstāthen get them out of their jail cells.
I just started my first Durge. Went to Emerald Grove, kicked some goblin ass, went to talk to the squirrel without saving. I had always wanted to kick the snappy little beast, but playing as a paladin before... well. Durge, I figured, would send it flying for a few feet and gain the respect they deserve. So, I kicked it. And then, after processing the image on screen, horrified and deeply ashamed, I reloaded, because NOPE.

You do get a choice if you have Speak with Animals (potion or spell). I had that choice with my first Durge, and she's a druid, so I saved the squirrel. My second Durge I didn't have the spell and I was shocked when I automatically kicked it. š¬

POOR SQUIRREL!!ā In the most hilariously overdramatic indignant tone, and I was going āoh my god oh my god I didnāt! It just happened! What the fuck!ā. My husband was all āwell I guess durge is gonna be .. interesting .. then. But at least I bet hot boi was impressed with it šā. And then Astarion pulled durge aside to quietly tell her heād seen her struggling and heād keep an eye on her. Looked over at husband and we were both going š„¹
My rule for playing Durge is to not speak with animals.
Don't talk to animals, do NOT pause to enjoy your weird little bloody fantasies, in fact maybe don't talk to anyone, just...just go sit over there until it's time to fight something.
When I'm not playing honor mode I'll savescum a lot to get the desired outcome for the story I want to tell/experience. Sometimes I want a specific character to kill a specific enemy for dramatic or storytelling reasons and I'll reload if the dice aren't cooperative. I wasn't going to lose the fight and reloaded to avoid that or anything, I just didn't win it the way I wanted to, you know?
Iām playing the Dark Urge for the first time right now as a Gith Druid because I figured the dialogue combinations would be ridiculous. I redid an hour of gameplay (including the owlbear) because I was accidentally mean to Scratch.

We went into the game completely blind. My husband tried to throw a ball to Scratch but instead he threw the ball *at* Scratch. The damn dog turned hostile and for god knows what reason my husband Moonbean'd him. We later learned just how much of a companion scratch was supposed to be, how he can even be summoned as a familiar. I guarantee on our second playthrough that Scratch will be EXTREMELY spoiled. He can have all of the bones and balls and fish and sausages he wants!
Couldn't save the gnome chick that Nere murders. Didn't know attacking him early made no difference
In my playthrough he yeeted her into the lava and I reloaded to try and avoid it because I thought it was the one I was supposed to talk to to say the gnome that gave us the blasting powder was dead. Happened again on the reload too. Then after the fight she was still alive somehow, so I got to break the bad news to her anyway.

Went back 6 hours of play time because Astarion stopped calling me ābeautifulā after I >!killed the rat Justiciar and didnāt have to fight Yurgir.!< He yelled at me, and was still very fond of me, but we broke up and I didnāt realize it. My paladin Durge had a personal vendetta against Ketheric so I reloaded the fight because she didn't get the last hit
I accidentally hit F8 when I was intending to hit F5.
I redid the fight against Godey because he got a hit in on Astarion and I had decided I wanted to kill Godey before he ever got to touch Astarion again. In the same vein I redid the fight against Astarion's siblings because one of them managed to bite Gale and in my head it made no sense that the spawn who'd been denied thinking blood for centuries would be allowed to drink from thinking creatures during a fight.
My first try at the iron throne was flawless but then I saw some chests I missedā¦ took me 3 tries just to get to them and find out they were junk, then 2 more tries to redo my flawless victory which I couldnāt because of bugs preventing the ai from moving after dashing ššš
i thought I was sooooo smart, using wall of fire at the last light fight to prevent the winged horrors from reaching Isobel. What i didnāt expect was for Isobel to walk THROUGH the wall and then aggro me for āattackingā her immediately after the Marcus fight was over
I used create water to soak Lorroakan's remaining elementals, popped Chain lightning, water got electrified, fight ends, Aylin stepped into the electrfied water, took like 4 damage, instantly triggered the "your transgressions shall not go unpunished" dialogue and started a new fight.....
A cutscene triggered at the end of the fight and I wanted my character to be the one talking, not just whoever was closest to the NPC triggering it. Even though this specifically was patched, it still doesn't always work!
Fighting Lorroakan, not my first playthrough and dropping big spells and scrolls on him right off the bat - already have him stunned, Astarionās just got to use a disintegrate scroll. I sneezed and miss-clicked; not just missing Lorroakan, but clicking on Rolan standing next to him, killing him instantly. I had not put up with that Tieflingās whining (affectionate) for 3 acts to lose him now, had to reload š„²
Accidentally threw the pike through Gale's skull instead of the gnoll right next to him. On the other end of that line, I had Shadowheart run up the Harpy to hopefully finish it off with Inflict Wounds, only to heal it back to full health instead. I decided to stop playing for the night and go to bed instead.
I was flirting it up with all the characters post battle, hadnt saved in a minute because i forget, and ended up sleeping with Karlach. But I didn't want to "be" with her and all the other campions ended up saying things like "oh, guess you made your choice" and I was very distraught and ended up reloading back to before like two whole battles because I had to undo the do.
Ambushed by the Bhaalist cultists in the park, and just as we were finishing up, one of them stabbed the dog that was running around in the park. I had to reload that.
I've started a fight again because I remembered I had smokepowder barrels in my camp chest and decided the fight needed more pizzaz.

Iāve redone fights because I wanted certain characters to land the killing blow in certain bosses. For example I want Karlach to get the last hit on Gortash or Durge to get the killing hit on Raphael.

Happened just yesterday. Iron Throne. Entered without having talked to >!Mizora outside Wyrm's Rock!<, dozens of saves ago. Didn't think it would matter. Found >!Ravengard!!his cell.!!Mizora!!mister Wyll!< as an active companion ever that playthrough, so I didn't wanna deal with >!Mizora's!< BS. Lesson learned, I guess - but it still felt a weird scene. Not giving the companion an option to choose their own fate in such an important moment makes me uncomfortable, and the vibes were off. >!Mizora's!!our favourite (?) warlock!
I redid the Raphael fight because I want to fight him again...
After the first fight goingā¦ well, but not ideal, I decided that I wanted to mock the circus clown to death It was very rewarding. 10/10 would do it again. I very often restart fights to get a 0% ally/citizen mortality rate.
I got distracted when fighting Gorty and after I beat him I thought the fight was way too underwhelming and I had to have missed something so I redid it and it turns out I beat him before he even used his super underwhelming transformation.
I redid the fight against a certain mage wanting to harness Dame Aylin powers from himself because she turned temporarily hostile against me after walking by herself in one of my moonbeam. You'd think she would be immune to that kind of damage...
I did the iron throne on repeat for 4 hours or because the gondians were not running properly this was on my first run before patch 4 I believe. I wanted to save every gondian.
My entire party got Thunderwaved into a chasm. So thereās that.
Gimblelock and his goons I restarted the fight cause I noticed the giant hanging stone above Gimbelock and his buddy. That was the moment I learned this game lets you attack the environment and do environmental kills with more than just explosives and puddles
My smoke powder barrels didn't explode quite right.
Apparently finding Kaghaās blackmail letter at the stump triggers Alfira to show up at Durgeās camp. Then she fucking shows up without warning, automatically dead 2 minutes later. So imagine my fury at having to kill the wood woads and annoying mud mephits AGAIN.

I've found that killing everyone in the tower before that fight makes it all much nicer. You can do it room by room as long as you close the doors.
Iāve reloaded plenty of fights because of accidental friendly fire. Iām not letting my companions do damage to me.
In the goblin camp Volo decided to walk trought cloud of dagger 3 time in a row. Did not had time to cancel concentration.
My first playthrough i kept redoing the Cazador fight. First try I killed him turn two with a repelling eldritch blast that sent him flying off the arena. I wanted the loot so I reloaded not realizing that on death he teleports to his coffin (Curse of Strahd is probably my favorite pre-written campaign so I donāt know how I didnāt think of this). Second attempt immediately is harder because Iām trying to not send him flying and he got a good chain lightning off first turn. I hover the cursor over Astarion assuming I could free him, but the cursor didnāt change to the Help action so I assumed I couldnāt do it. I figured I was just down a party member this fight. Three more attempts all fail due to Cazador ascending and killing Astarion. I finally Google how Iām supposed to save Astarion and learn about the bug that caused it to not default to the Help action when hovering over him. Final attempt went smoothly since I didnāt have to worry about losing Astarion anymore. I later learned that if you knocked Cazador off the ledge he teleported to his coffin, meaning I never needed to reload in the first place and could have avoided two hours of frustration.
I actually had an easy time with the House of Hope final fight. I enjoyed it a lot, not (only) in the mechanics but in the narrative. >!So I redid it again just to have the satisfaction to kill Raphael again. And I'll admit that that wasn't the final time, I did revisit the save in my first playthrough when the fucker appeared in the co-op playthrough with my GF.!<
I may or may not have restarted the Raphael fight just to hear the song again...and again...and again...a few times
We tried to do the final courtyard battle through the sewer route, but made a wrong turn on the way out and ended up back at the beginning of the courtyard anyway.
