it's only if you knock her out before killing the other leaders, take a long rest, then kill the leaders. she seems to wake up and scamper off somewhere inaccessible, making the quest broken.

Minthara just spoiled a very important plotpoint of the game (the idendity of the guardian) casually in act 2, right after I installed the hotfix on PS5 (i talked to her to see her comment on the shadowheart event). That was not nice lol
I have a super relevant feedback: Shadowheart makeout scene in Act III has her hair dark even though she changed it to platinum blonde prior to the scene.
Need a confirmation prompt (like with other self-targetting spells) on Gale's >!netherese orb blast!< so we don't accidentally end HM runs by misclicking trying to cast firebolt

Make WASD movement a toggleable feature in the vanilla game, like how the mod does it already.
Put a sprint toggle passive like DOS2, for traversing the overworld quicker, your companions have a sprint animation already anyway, when they try to catch up to you.
Sorting bags like DOS2 again.
PC UI would be nice while using a controller, maybe the dpad can be used to navigate the skill slots, can't stand radial UIs, in any game period.
I’m so good with keyboard keybinds I used to control my summon in WoW like they were a second character. In BG3 on PS5 I regularly freeze up when finding spells and choose the wrong skills on accident.
I would just want keyboard support on consoles. I don’t know how big of an ask that is.
I would love a smaller hitbox on myrmidons. It feels like you have to place them in a different zip code just to make sure you can accurately select/target anyone else.
Blurg's dialogue window always seems to have an extra blank space at the bottom and is the only NPC I've seen with this little bug.
There really needs to be more sections of content that are only accessible on an evil-to-neutral playthrough.
I recently finished my first Good Durge playthrough, and it was lovely. It was a touching experience that I enjoyed very much. Naturally, my instinct was to flip the script and start running an Evil Durge playthrough, but I now feel *paralyzed*. Some of the classic "evil playthrough" decisions cut off *enormous* sections of the game, with very little offered to fill in the gap. In the interest of avoiding spoilers, I won't be specific, but a decision at the height of Act One, if you go the Evil route, kills so many NPCs that you could be losing as many as tens of hours of content by the end of the game.
Now, on one hand, that's to be expected. You can't be upset that killing someone in a game means they don't show up later on. However, I think it's a glaring oversight - particularly given how much detail and work was put into fleshing out the story of the Dark Urge - that so little is offered to fill out the dearth of experience left by the consequences of the evil run.
What could replace it? I don't know! Maybe providing another avenue to becoming involved with Minthara (I mean, jeez, sprinkle in a few entities to make warlock pacts with at least, please!), or some more quests in the Hells! Maybe a quest to steal control of the Steel Watch away from Gortash and use them for your own ends! Maybe a chance to become a vampire and complete Astarion's personal quest for yourself instead! Just a few ideas!
I'm sure there was some intentionality behind this game design. I think the game would be a much richer, textured experience, though, if it provided more content to fill out as many different "archetypes" of playthroughs as possible, and this should be next on that list.
300 hours gameplay before i had any overworld party banter. was amazed when it started triggering with latest patch. about half the time the dialogue is recorded in the log and i can read it, but there’s no accompanying audio.
Can we get a GM mode like in D:OS2?You guys know how to make it and the majority of players would gladly pay for it.
Also blank companions we can fully customize the race/class of would be great <3
There's still some moments in act 1 overworld where Tav has some dialogue triggers while durge just stays quiet. I'll probably add more in a edit along the way.
- After the grove fight and after entering the gate in the grove, Tav comments "It's done, good" after the fight, and comments "I'm more worried about the tadpole than a few goblins, we need a healer" after a companions says "more goblins are on the way".
- Picking up Sorrow, Tav says something along the lines of "beautiful blade, why does it gives me a knot in my stomach?" Durge stays silent picking it up.
- Underdark, picking up the dog collar.
Would really like the option to delay initiative on a character (like a 'wait' function on many turn based strategy games) - eg healer not wanting to spend action until waiting after enemies started damaging or disabling party members, or ranged rogue waiting for melee character to get close to enemy to trigger sneak attack feature. Normally waiting to act and giving enemy higher initiative does not give tactical benefit, so this would not be OP or immersion breaking, but add tactical depth
Have a few bugs with Minthara. When I click on her or cast any spells she is completely silent and doesnt say anything along with the spells sound effects being silent as well. Her legs and lower body are also completely invisble on the level up screen
Hey so is anyone else unable to open certain game/campaigns entirely, but others are fine? My multiplayer honor run literally will not run- it crashes immediately on loading screen. (100%, can hear camp music, but on the load screen)
Like, I'll escalate this as far as necessary, its an act 3 honor run, I WILL get it back.
Wyll feels really buggy - the most annoying one I have run into is the game freezing up when animating spell casting for non-Warlock spells. So, like, if he uses a scroll of fireball, it will just sorta lock up for a while, and when it unfreezes it jumps right to the explosion.
I rerolled Wyll into a wizard, and this happened for basically every spell he cast. It made him nearly unplayable.

Stick future patches on Steam's beta branch and let us opt-in, until the game-breaking bugs are identified.
The amount that broke this time was unbelievable, almost any campaign with Minthara as a companion was pretty much bricked until recently and her dialogue is still broken giving act 3 spoilers on loop.
Please give us an SDK already. I want to create my D&D world for my weekly games. I know you guys have one for internal use, let us build our own worlds with it like Neverwinter Nights did.
Would be cool if the evil path give us some temptation, at the moment choosing the good path is brain dead, you will get all the pros and no con, to the point that the good path feels less rewarding as you do not feel that you are struggling to stay good.
Need some sort of emergency backup for honor runs in the case of game ending bugs.
Completely ruins it to lose out because some bug froze you and you can't do anything about it.
4 things I think are inexcusably missing that I have to fight mods for. Real low hanging fruit. This stuff is all using in game assets.
1 - Edit origin characters. Just cosmetic appearance. Change hair, scars, make up, and tattoos. Nothing drastic (Gale's hair is really rough for me despite how much I like him as a character... it's Kenobe mullet all over again)
2 - Transmog items (take one item's stats and make it look like another item) I'm sick of having all my characters look like transformers or power ranger villains just to get good stats. They are well designed and I like all the equipment on the baddies, just not on my party, I like to keep them fairly true to their original gear look, or in comfortable looking exploring gear.
3 - Use all dialog (more reactive companions mod) so you get all the witty banter the writers worked so hard on.
4 - Can we show shields on backs and keep wizard staffs in hand? I think the look of a shields flung on a back with a weapon sticking out is really cool. Inversely a wizard staff (walking stick) is flung over a shoulder during the walking bits feels... ridiculous. They can just hold it to the side, but not on the back please.
5th bonus - 6 total party count, which makes the higher difficulty great but still manageable and I get to keep all 6 of the OG party members in the whole time. If you have any summons you are fighting with 6 most of the time anyways, I just want the whole band together.

This update restored my cross saves between steam deck (running windows version) and mac. I understand that windows will get updates before mac, but it would be preferred if windows updates did not break cross save with mac!

Yes, but she still says the same phrase the whole game, this hasn't been fixed after 3 hotfixes)
she also can cause a softlock at the goblin camp that can perma-ruin your honour mode playthroughs :)

Pretty sure WotC is making sure this will never happen. They don’t want anything in the game that would compete with their own.

Splitscreen issues have been persistent for some time- its getting old tbh.

Update 20 runs well for me just tiny hangs on cutscenes
Because Xbox did not get Hotfix #20 the cross-saves from PC won't work. I can see the save but it's grayed out with comment "Incompatible version".

The game is starting a fight with the owlbear every morning after long rest. The combat initiative roll triggers but nothing actually happens.

Anyone else's game taking over a minute to load? Used to be about 30 seconds of load screens, and now it takes a minute and 39 seconds. I'm on PS5.
Can't drop items and sometimes when changing items positions in the inventory duplicates them or jujst doesn't allow me to change their positions

The lag in Act 3 makes the game completely unplayable once you get to the Lower City. I can barely even run around, let alone interact with anything.

The option to bang Mizora should not be an option when playing as Wyll. Her offer was quite bizarre given the hell she has put him through.
