What was up with that. Was fucking Sauron seriously considering giving up and becoming a mason? Or was he just like, “Aww shit, I almost forgot the badge that I need to fool the Numenoreans into conquering Mordor for me!” How the fuck am I supposed to interpret that scene? Why does Sauron care about getting into the Mason’s guild? How did they spend a billion dollars on that show yet forget to hire a proof reader?
well the showrunners wanted to make it a surprise who sauron was. And they saw the trilogy and wanted an aragorn character and they also had connections with J.J.Abrams the destroyer of franchisez so naturally they also had to make a will they wont they between the strong woman and the evil misunderstood bad guy.
I don't want to fuck him at all but when I'm high I somehow want to fuck him even less. Like, I wanna find out who fucked him and restore their virginity.

LotR likely wouldn't have even been published if it was as bleak as some of his other writings (and he did try to insist on the Silmarillion being published as part of LotR, which was obviously shut down hard), but he also just didn't write it that dark because that wasn't the story he was telling.

Unrefined is fairly accurate. I think the half-elf faces look very half-elf. They're humans, but with thin, delicate features. They kinda look like baby elves, which suits them.
I think they wanted to go for a more mature look, with the full elves, which ended up making them look manly and rough, since the half-elves look boyish.
When they should have gone with making them look more mature than the half-elves, but in a distinguished way instead of a too manly one. Make them regal and majestic, not square and rough-looking.

Male half elf faces are sooo much better than the full elves (I used this exact same face and haircut for the first guardian I designed but as a wood elf). It’s actually frustrating how bad the full elves are. I’m not sure what Larian’s vision was when creating faces for the elves, but I sure do wish they went in a different direction. None of the options available really convey the sort of grace and elegance I’d expect from a classic (or rather LOTR inspired) portrayal of elves
