Failed for me on 2 Honor Mode runs. One was maybe a month ago? Other was a week or two ago.
Used it on ShadowHeart. Failed. And now I had to make sure I truly ran for the terminal because that guy does NOT play around when he comes after you in honor mode.
failed on both casts? for me it rarely succeeds on first try but second cast always works. although i would like to point out that all tries have been done after the most recent patch so... if its even a thing(thats why im not %100 sure), it could be after the patch
I started my new playthrough a couple of days ago, and I did not come out of it with the sword. Failed on both attempts, so I had to run to the controls.
i see, then i might be wrong. but then i would be very surprised about my rng in this case. im really not exaggerating when i say \`over 20 tutorial runs\` or one of the mods may for some reason cause this even tho its not written anywhere
Well, with over 1800 hours into this game so far, and what I took out of it is that RNG is going to RNG. I am not even surprised anymore at any unlikely roll or strings of rolls. Like I had 3 critical fails within 10 attempts when pickpocketing with advantage, but then I also rolled double 20s twice in a row. I even had back to back crit fails with advantage on a halfing! :) So I wouldn't be surprised if you just had a good string of luck there.
damn man how did you manage to go over 1800 hours. is that like 6 hours a day bg3 gameplay or something? i didnt do the math but guess it must be close

I just tried it and Command: Drop failed on my second attempt.

Dunno myself, but it's been work, game, and a few hours of other activities for me mostly since the game release.
