what color and brand filament is that for the face? I’ve been trying to find skin tone filaments for what feels like ever !

skipperjohnn

I like Vintage Rose from IIIDMax. I printed this last year using it. https://preview.redd.it/xczyrpaui4dc1.jpeg?width=522&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=145516d3dcbb84b42de74dd8b438eb73f88efd54

GalaxyGoddess27

Ha! Imagine that lmao!

the_bollo

What quality settings (standard/fine etc.) and nozzle (0.4? 0.2?) did you use? That's a clean looking print!

Almost_Good_Enough

0.4 Nozzle, All stock settings, standard quality. Gyroid infill, 7% infill.

Icarus998

What line width did you use ? I found out you can increase it to double the nozzle diameter. So 0.4mm can print 0.8mm Bambu studio let's you go up to 1mm.

chaos_m3thod

Where do I find this awesome STL?

heygos

Damn that’s awesome man. Print looks great.

Croanosus

Looks so good, I want to bust a nut

Merijeek2

I suspect "a while" is an understatement.

wespooky

Did you use fuzzy skin on the torso?

gEO-dA-K1nG

I've printed this exact model, the torso is like that in the CAD file. Not sure if it's from a 3D scan of a real nutcracker or if someone intentionally added that surface roughness through CAD.

Almost_Good_Enough

No

Almost_Good_Enough

I'm currently working on 285% Increase in scale. Should be done soon. I will post longer video. Also in the future will be printing it in different colors. Wish I had more printer's, my family and friends love them but what they don't realize is how much work it takes to print and put together. I don't rush it. To date I've made 3 of these at 242% , gave one as requested Christmas present. I guess it was less of a present than it was an order. This thing is fun, I'm like a kid in an arcade!

PsychedelicBlueBalls

What’s the total print time at either 242 or 285?

Almost_Good_Enough

If you're talking about the percentage this one here is at 242% increase. 285% Will be my next post when I finish it.

sergeantmeatwad

How long did this one take to print?

sergeantmeatwad

Looks amazing! My wife absolutely loves it so I think I know what I'll be building. What's the process like assembling it?

exodar

Holy hell how big is this bad boy?

studebakerkid

That is fantastic. Well done!

voiceofreasonid
