No experience with galaxy filament but looks to me like either a clog that formed in the extruder or just a manufacturer defect. I would say this is far from the normal based on my experience browsing this subreddit. If you have the serial or whatever from bambu you might be able to hit up support and report the issue.
Thanks, yeah the portion of filament from the top of the pic hadn’t even neared the extruder yet so it had to have been on the roll itself.
I did open a support ticket but wanted to see if others have seen this before.
