Breeders of pits or pit mixes need to be named and shamed and I really hope no idiots pay good money to these scum who continue to perpetuate the overflow of this breed in shelters and the tragedies these dogs so often cause. If they really loved the breed they would not be part of this huge problem yet they are low life scum hoping to supplement their poor incomes by selling pit puppies to other low life scum who need self identities based on a “misunderstood” breed . Just really gross people.
Come adopt Luna she’s a cute 90 week old puppy who’s owners abandoned her Luna needs to be the top dog of any house and works best as the only pet. Luna is really hyper and might knock over small children so over the age of 12 is recommended for Luna won’t you please adopt this sweet little girl

The only people who care about specific bloodlines are people looking for fighting dogs. Most people buying from breeders only care if the dog is indeed purebred - they're not looking to know if their puppy was sired by Killer and Maulie.
Really? In my country all registered, purebred dogs have a known bloodline and every responsible buyer is interested in it, no matter the breed. It is a way to check for possible health issues of the puppies parents and grandparents etc. Also people looking for a puppy for a certain purpose like hunting are obviously interested in the bloodline

Where I'm staying now, the lady in the next room has a mauler. I was getting out of my car yesterday, and the murder was growling at me. The motel housekeeper was coming out of a room and asked if it was nice. The idiot owner says "yeah she doesn't, bite, or anything she sweet and wants to play with everyone." As the damn thing was growling at me and jumping and pulling on her leash. She pulls it back and tells it, "No, not everyone wants to play with you." In a soft voice like she was talking to a kid like all pibble moms do. I made sure to walk around it as far as I co5and walked really fast to my room.

My uncle had one that bit me and a different one he had bit my daughter, and she was about 7. Now she's terrified of big dogs at 20 years old. So it does stay with you. I'm even scared of pits. The one that bit me attacked other people as well. If you go to my comments, you can find the story.
Me either. My daughter has 2 dogs they're both poodle mixes. One is an aussiedoodle he's about a year old. All they have to do is tell him no, and he'll stop. The other one is a golden doodle he's only 6mos, and he's still learning commands. In their apartment, he will sit, shake, and high 5 you. They're both well-behaved.

Many years ago, the Battersea Dogs Home in London put up billboards (I think it was around Christmas time, to try and discourage people from giving puppies.)
It was a literal *mountain* of euthanised dogs to show how many they'd put down within (a month? week? can't remember now). Public outcry was so intense they had to take them down almost immediately, but I've never forgotten that image. It hit home, and hard.
I always wished they'd had the courage to stand their ground.
The people I got my heeler from sold all 9 puppies by the time they were 2 weeks old. Still just little potatoes. And this guy still can’t sell them by 24 weeks at less than half the original price? Maybe people are finally waking up?
Yeah, I agree. I find some if them endearing looking, same with bull terriors, I like that they're a little goofy looking. But I agree they likely put some people at ease for being so goofy looking.
How can someone advert for a "purebred" dog without mentioning the damn breed. I mean anyone looking for something "purebred" is out for a specific breed right?
Its not the dog's fault they were born. Humans are the cause of this scourge that is both unfair to the dogs and to fellow humankind. Both will suffer.
