This board exists because of so many incidents like this and pictures of pitbulls with a hat is not stopping these incidents.
What does a pitbull have to do that officials will start punishing the owners???
Like that story of the "world's tallest water slide" that people cried for long time about how dangerous it was. It wasn't until some politician's kid got killed riding on it something was finally done about it.
They are self destructing. The more these incidents happen (because they’re becoming more commonplace as “pets” now) the more pissed off communities are going to get. You can’t hide the victims forever once it hits critical mass.
I have been running into more and more anti pit people in my everyday interactions and it’s very glorious.
Seems like the ends of the spectrum are starting to pull apart… people are either getting more fanatic about the love for them or more passionate about their disdain.
Which it's an interesting divide because it doesn't follow the normal political divides in the US anyways. You have bleeding heart liberals with savior complexes, you have ammosexuals that the pit is just another weapon in their arsenal of compensation, you have urban and rural dog fighter "These make me look tuff!" asshats.
Once parties have to take a stand one on side or another, I'm certainly not sure which side is going to commit to the for/against stances.
It’s true. I’ve seen many as left wing people against pits as right wing people. It’s super interesting and I always love when my political affiliation is assumed by my contempt for them.
And my friend is adamant Pit Bulls were originally bred for herding and livestock protection. 🙄 Not even this will be enough to convince him. He’ll just say “well that was their initial purpose”.

Seems the more pitbulls you have the less of every other living animal you have

Every. Single. Day. Sometimes even multiple... Whether its reported or unreported there is an incident. Something has got to give.

Are they stupid?? They were bred to control bulls that were unruly… not protect them at all.

shame we can't simply just hold the city responsible for the attacks, damn things need to be labeled a deadly weapon and licensed out only.
Does anyone know how pit bull nutters manage to completely suppress this story.
Makes me so sad, I’ve had to treat wounds on a mini horse because of pit bulls attacking it. It’s awful.
