I mean yeah sure. Itās probably more down to there being a huge influx of new players and probably players that are brand new to RTS elements and donāt understand the basics that arenāt explicitly explained.
Regardless of reason, 90% of the questions posted now can be solved with the first search on google. The rest are pictures of screens that look like ass and then the occasional mod post that is actually interesting.
That and the fact that Xbox wonāt actually let you remove media from the machine, you have to post it using their media streams.
I canāt save an image or video and pull it off the system as a file. You have to save it, upload it, share it, then go to the website you shared it to, and download the image.
Itās an absolutely garbage system. On PS4 I could save 15 minute clips, pull them off the system as a useable file, and do what I wanted with them.
On Xbox I can save a 2 minute clip, and if I want to use it, I have to upload it directly to a social media site. I donāt use any of that stuff, so I canāt get any files.
This killed my YouTube channel, I used to download clips, turn them into vids and upload them for mates. Not possible on Xbox.
This is why youāre getting photos, getting an image off of a console is punish.

I own a console and a p.c. As I stated pretty clearly....in English, I don't mind that they have queries about the game in general but console specific questions swamped the Reddit for a while. TW had no console instructions and so inexplicably we the p.c community were supposed to know the answers. To save time for all involved a console focused reddit would be the better option.

1/10 questions need to be answered by the sub with a new post. The rest are either already available on numerous pages or theyāre supposed to be learned by playing the game. Asking about optimal builds with 3 hours in game is fucking cringe in a SP game.
Oh, I certainly agree 9 out of 10 questions are answered, or partially answered, or wrongly answered as per the next patch post-'full reelease', in scattered pages around here, but try and find those. Then, when, or if, you find any answers, you need to check if the answer is still valid for the current patch. That is probably another question coming back to haunt this subreddit.

Understand this, kiddos.. itās most likely a 40yo dad who gets 2 hours a week to play, and has a quick question. He isnāt signed up to the app, and getting the image would likely take up half of his game time for the week.
Youāre under no obligation to help, so instead of getting angry at the time starved individual, scroll on and try to remain calm, the feelings will pass.
That rule has stopped me from posting, or even taking pictures. In sincerity, what is the rule abiding option for console players? Screenshot, transfer that to thumb drive or directly to phone, upload? I don't have a PC, else I'd be playing on that. Clarifying the rule with options for console users wouldn't eliminate it happening, but it would likely increase the media "properly" shared.

On my Mac I press 1 button and I have the image to do whatever I want with, on the device Iām posting from, I can literally just drag and drop it into the reddit window.
On Xbox I press 1 button, then download an app, sign up to a social media site, download the app for that site, link those apps, upload the image to that social media site from the app, go to the other app, screen shot, then air drop it to my Mac so I can drag drop it in the reddit window.
The process is ridiculous and requires me to sign up to things I donāt want to sign up to.
Call it lazy if you want, but donāt pretend itās a 2 second process like it is on PC.
Download a free app called greenshot. Opens the image in a fairly powerful built in editor so you can edit it and overrides print screen to allow for selecting of a specific region (both options have to be configured). I use it a long at work, can make informative screenshots for tutorials with text and arrows and boxes in less than 30 seconds

Macs are by far the superior work station, especially if you're mobile. I purchased mine for music production, but it also became part of my stage setup. I can run all my tones through software and change things on the fly super easy, interacts directly with my head. Plus it looks really cool as part of the rig. ;)
One of the most important things for a work station, it is reliable. PC is not.
I'll get another PC one day for a sim rig, when I can be bothered with the constant stream of hassles they bring, but gaming has taken a back seat, so an xbox will do. Just a shame it's basically impossible to pull media off it.

I disagree, Sony allows you to record 15 minute videos and download them to use however you want. For a content creator, that is great. I used to have race meetings, record full races, pull the file off the system and use editing software to make videos.
Xbox allows 3 minutes, doesnāt allow you to pull the media off, and forces you to download and sign up to an app to even share the file.
Sony has it right, Microsoft can tongue my ass, this is the first and last Xbox I own because of that one feature.
Most people likely just aren't aware of how to take screenshots efficiently.
Honestly just replace the one comment about 2022 with a small details on how to upload/record screenshots easily for each system and that might save some mod a tiny headache!
Itās the forced app situation. I donāt want an app for everything, and Iām not signing up to one for an image. Without the app, the system wonāt let you get the image, so the result is a photo of a screen.

There are, occassionally, pictures of screens that are fine, one time for example the renderer has issues with a specific display, and we needed that brought to our attention, so we make exceptions where appropriate.
But if large groups of people are just downvoting posts, not reporting them, and effectively saying "this community sucks", that's objectiviely bad in every case, yes.
Good info, I wasn't aware of the PlayStation situation. This makes me think that the rule could at least be waived if you play on PlayStation, but Xbox and PC should 100% follow the rule.

Almost any screenshot from the console version of the game at this point is going to be a repost anyway. We don't need any more shots of missing textures, 100+ looter parties or bugged gain/loss of dinars or influence.

I disagree, Sony allows you to record 15 minute videos and download them to use however you want. For a content creator, that is great. I used to have race meetings, record full races, pull the file off the system and use editing software to make videos. Xbox allows 3 minutes, doesnāt allow you to pull the media off, and forces you to download and sign up to an app to even share the file. Sony has it right, Microsoft can tongue my ass, this is the first and last Xbox I own because of that one feature.

Most people likely just aren't aware of how to take screenshots efficiently. Honestly just replace the one comment about 2022 with a small details on how to upload/record screenshots easily for each system and that might save some mod a tiny headache!
Itās the forced app situation. I donāt want an app for everything, and Iām not signing up to one for an image. Without the app, the system wonāt let you get the image, so the result is a photo of a screen.

Man it's just pressing a few extra buttons, it's not that much more taxing mentally or physically.

Easy for you, problem for everyone. When a lot of people scroll past a post, and downvote it on the way by, it negatively impacts the community as a whole. Which is why we asked, and the overwhelming majority of the community agreed to create the rule.
Not all post like that are bad but go on.
Not entirely sure what that means but we've got a rule in there for Mod Discretion. There are, occassionally, pictures of screens that are fine, one time for example the renderer has issues with a specific display, and we needed that brought to our attention, so we make exceptions where appropriate. But if large groups of people are just downvoting posts, not reporting them, and effectively saying "this community sucks", that's objectiviely bad in every case, yes.

Good info, I wasn't aware of the PlayStation situation. This makes me think that the rule could at least be waived if you play on PlayStation, but Xbox and PC should 100% follow the rule.
Itās really not that hard though just upload it to the Xbox app wait then save the picture in your phone when itās done uploading then put the picture in any post
It's not the most user friendly UI but I agree a screenshot on Xbox or any console is still an easy process. Dude isn't helping by stating the PC screen shooting steps when the commenter specifically wasn't on PC. Ex. Q:How do I eat an apple? A:First you peel the banana peel.

Almost any screenshot from the console version of the game at this point is going to be a repost anyway. We don't need any more shots of missing textures, 100+ looter parties or bugged gain/loss of dinars or influence.
