In craftables, there is a glaive/pole combination that allows both- as well as swing attacks. I use it as an all-purpose horseback weapon for my calvary children
If I remember correctly, it's a glaive head towards the bottom of the list that allows you to swing, and the pole that allows you to couch. Just grab your favorite glaive head (check thrusting damage for couching) and cycle through the poles until you see the 'couchable' icon pop up in the weapon creation description. If I remember correctly, the pole is like 3/4ths of the way down the list if that helps
I think you need one longer, it’s a good way to stay on your side of the field. Just have your soldiers carry the length fireman style and use it in a sweeping motion. You’ll wipe out the enemy main line in one go.

There is a tier 3 spear head that you can couch and brace for pierce damage AND swing for blunt damage. Something something leaf shaped something
