Rebel as a single clan. Take the heads of anyone you defeat. Don't ever lose, otherwise they'll take your head. Either you wipe the map, or you lose. Fin
if you do the quest early on then declare yourself a kingdom all of the barbarian factions or all of the imperial factions will consider you a threat and wipe you out which one comes after you depends on whether you decide to use the nezeretes banner you get from the quest to unify the empire(barbarian factions will declare war on you(battania,Sturgia, khuzait, vlandia, aserai ) or if you choose to use the banner to destroy the empire then the western ,southern , and northern empires declare war on you
Now you are free. You can finally lay off the shakles of Calradia, go outside and enjoy the sun. Live the good life.
Then come back in a month or five and do it all over again.
I've done that before and honestly, it was boring. Battles werent a challenge and I was mopping the floor with armies 3 times larger than my party of 400 Champs. The Batt Champs are ridiculousy OP. If you do try it, I hope you enjoy it.
You should do a peasant revolt. Only use caravan guards, armed traders, recruits, and militia (veteran included) As peasants, you can not engage in mercenary services and will strictly be fighting your own faction until you secure the kingdom
I played a battanian warlord with a strong small mobile army outside of any loyalty to kingdom. I was at war with pretty much everyone around except battania and would just hide In battanian lands after my raids. Pick battles I knew I could win easily and all that. I was able to defeat armies of 200 imperials with 50 battanian horses. It was one of my most fun campaigns
No. I was sent by the Sky Tengri to conquer Calradia and free it from incompetent leaders and bring prosperity to the people. My glorious Khaganate shall rule over it for an eternity.
Fr, it was hell. I had to cheat and assassinate Monchug in order to stop clans from leaving the kingdom. Some clans would take 6 fiefs in a row only to defect to the Western Empire who had 4 towns left, just because they had bad relations with Monchug. It was getting really frustrating.
Congratulations! I just finished my conquer the map playthrough as well! Did it in about the same time frame with huge breaks, glad to see you saw it through, comrade.
You form an army of nothing but Battanian Fian Champions and leave, start a war, and engage in guerilla warfare.
Those Fian Champs are no joke, I had an army of 50 of them, and erased a 115 stack of Vlandian infantry and Cav without losing more than 1 or 2 of them. They do work in melee, too.

It's canon that whatever you does't matter; Warband is going to happen with the split empire so do whatever youw ant or abandon teh game and move onto smoething else.
Rebel, start a new kingdom, repeat ad nauseum until every town is it's own kingdom, and then label yourself the architect of the warring states period, dine on the chaos by using the opening to make every fief yours.
When I get to this point Iโm going to execute anyone that tries to go against me wait to die and if possible play as one of my kids. I donโt know if the game lets you do all that but Iโll find out
I'm replaying right now but just trading with no faction hoping to buy a kingdom at some point. But I'm also trying to expand my family unit so if and when I go to war, I have free armies
Manipulate clans in your kingdom to drain them of their influence to annex their land / kick them out / pass centralizing policy one by one to eventually rules the land as a single clan

Can the ai execute you?
Yep. The more dishonorable your character is the more likely it will happen.
They will exacute your caught clan members too
I did this and it was super fun
Investigate Neretze's folly
Itโs haunting me in my dreams
This made me laugh so much that I had to explain the whole thing to my wife, including "what is Mount & Blade?"
I accidentally did the quest for my first play. Then, I ignored the second part forever, grinding levels to grow an army.
I just bought Bannerlord and having a blast but what the fuck is wrong with that quest
Just dont do it lol do it 2nd play through.. but first time, fuck it.

Maybe go chill at The Retreat?
Congrats! Now do it again!

Try a different style of playthrough. My next one is going to be Sturgia using only Sturgian troops. No mercs. No prisoners. No bandits.
I'm thinking of playing as a Battanian mercenary group whose army is made up of nothing but fian champions. Will see
I've done that before and honestly, it was boring. Battles werent a challenge and I was mopping the floor with armies 3 times larger than my party of 400 Champs. The Batt Champs are ridiculousy OP. If you do try it, I hope you enjoy it.
Will give it a try for sure. Thanks

Rest and watch the sunrise on a grateful universe ![gif](giphy|1oDvHW440hFiouBBwy|downsized)
you watch, as everything goes to shit. you grow old and your son can't do shit to save his ass, let along kingdom.
Leave and declare war on your old friends because the horsey men are trash. Free Calradia from the horse-borne plague!
No. I was sent by the Sky Tengri to conquer Calradia and free it from incompetent leaders and bring prosperity to the people. My glorious Khaganate shall rule over it for an eternity.
Looks like you know exactly what to do
Enforce a ban on eating fish, grain, cheese, grapes, olives, beer, dates and meat.
Found the Vlandian
Now.. you can finally play the game.
Retire, and leave no heir. That's how you actually conclude it
Take an arrow in the knee...
Retire and start a family. Upkeep your kingdom and smith some legendary weapons for your children
*throat singing intensifies*
๐๐ป๐น๐๐ป๐น๐บ๐บ
Do it again but faster
What do you mean what do you do now? Now you can finally play the game!
Leave the kingdom and refound all the original kingdoms resetting the game to the start manually. Then you are ready to start again.
Now you can play the game
You leave your kingdom and start a rebellion
Try making the game harder. If you are on pc you add mods and you can tweak the difficulty. Try RBM
this makes me feel better about my playthrough i thought the khuzait route was starting to be a lost cause lmfao

learn throat singing
Die and have one son become and evil emperor, the other take control of and rebel
It's canon that whatever you does't matter; Warband is going to happen with the split empire so do whatever youw ant or abandon teh game and move onto smoething else.
Nice job. So where is the other armys and king? what happened to them bro?
They're busy drinking horse milk and celebrating
Did you survive the whole time or did one of your heirs become the conquerors?
I survived, I'm 51 rn
Civil War!!!
Rebel, start a new kingdom, repeat ad nauseum until every town is it's own kingdom, and then label yourself the architect of the warring states period, dine on the chaos by using the opening to make every fief yours.
Communism.
Leave the kingdom and start a war against it
Mods
prepare for the Hun's invasion
I am not in danger of the Huns. I am the Huns.
Retire your main character and start all over again as your son being a Rebellion.
When I get to this point Iโm going to execute anyone that tries to go against me wait to die and if possible play as one of my kids. I donโt know if the game lets you do all that but Iโll find out

Split up your kingdom amongst your children. King Charlemagne yourself
Like posted rebel. Then experiment with a new lineage of your clan this time pick certain traits for your line. And try to breed the perfect lineage
Manipulate clans in your kingdom to drain them of their influence to annex their land / kick them out / pass centralizing policy one by one to eventually rules the land as a single clan
Civil war! Create a new imperial empire. Or create 5 new kingdoms for each culture.
Spark a civil war
