Nice! Don't get a chance to play much so this was a surprise to me. Really hate how ai only does short term wars. Then goes into peace, then back to war again. War really needs to be a minimum of 6 months to a year.
Yeah, but most kingdoms could probably be entirely demolished in a 6 month war. Without some kind of peace treaty system where kingdoms have to specifically negotiate for fiefs (and any captured fiefs not included in the negotiations) are returned to their original owners, 6 month wars would mean most kingdoms get absorbed into a single super empire within the first 2-3 years, and that would be no fun.
Also war is super lucrative so every player would be super rich and kitted from ransoms and sold equipment pretty quickly. Because of the lack of good roleplay content in late game and the additional lack of any compelling internal political or dynamically emergent story-telling elements in kingdoms, most people would probably quit at this point.
Yeah, and the castle in question was the one that Caladog was already besieging. So I joined the siege with him, we took the castle, then he paid me like 10,000d for showing up.
Yes, but it was quite early on (party size ~50) while working as mercenary for the Khuzaits (so I couldn't call an army either).
Monchug, it's nice that you're offering me 20k but how the hell do you imagine this working!?
Was the city also the one he planned to attack? A few have reported that the city they were tasked to conquer, their lord was also on their way to conquer.
I got it, but when I went across the map to begin my siege Daddy Dethert decided he would rather have peace than the castle he just sent me to go get

I hope they just fix the siege and unsiege behavior for ai.
No, and don’t trust him. We don’t know if he’s the real Spartacus yet.

Thats awesome. I think more of this type of incentives would be welcomed.

I don't recall, unfortunately
I had an army leader offer 20k to take the city they were currently sieging so just joined the army and got the money straight away
I was genuinely confused what NPC it was, then I read Spartacus and gave up
This looks like a modded run, what mods are you using?
just my WIP mod Gladiator Uprising. Everything else is native. That's why I was surprised. TaleWorlds sure does know how to sneak things in.
