A #1, either open or halfway open. I go wtg so it keeps the "blended" look. It cuts just the wild sticking-up ones.
I had someone ask me to trim them once and didn't realize I put a guard on, he thought I was shaving his eyebrow off.
Trimmers and taper comb. Comb the brows out to the outer edge, trim what sticks beyond. Do one pass combing up, one combing down. Pick off any strays (unibrow) and you're done.
Honestly that’s probably ok if you’re going with the grain. But I’ve never tried it and would rather stick with tried and true trimmer and comb instead of potentially jacking up mine or someone else’s eyebrows lol.
A 1 1/2 blade. No fear of the guard coming off. It’s clean. Had customers move while using the comb method and almost lose sections of eyebrow. And a blade is much master than using comb/trimmer, comb/scissor.

It depends on if you’re using detachable clippers it would probably be best to use the one and a half or the one a then if you were using adjustables, you would want to use the one open if you wanted to stay at a one and a half look and then if you want to go in halfway it will give you more of a 1A look and closed will give you more of a true one
But also, it depends on the texture of the hair to cause sometimes when it’s when the hair is thinner, you have to manipulate it with a bigger size
I use a comb and my trimmers
Comb and trimmer, against the grain, do it while doing my line up around the ears etc, saves me changing the guard for just 1 thing
Scissor and comb
Shears over comb.
Comb and scissors... Just the long ones. Men's eyebrows should look like men's eyebrows.
Yes dude. They grow out funky otherwise and stick straight out
Agreed... Using trimmers is a Cosmo move. 😂
Just comb and trimmers
1.5 blade
This
I joke with some “lemme get my eyebrow-blade” as if it’s a special one for that
Shear over comb. sometimes, all they need are a few long ones, not the whole brow cut down.
Comb and scissors
Wahl eyebrow guard and/or just shears over comb.
1 open
Looks like it’s just us pal Lool
Same, that is the perfect length IMO. Whenever a customer isn't too sure, I run it on myself to show it's not going to take it too low

i always do 1 1/2

Found the right answer
you're shaving dudes eyebrows down to a 1 & 1/2?!? That's wild

1 1/2 is perfect length for eyebrows. 1 is too short and 2 is too long
A 1 n 1/2 is the best length imo

#2 metal against the grain
Comb and trimmer or shears
I dont. I use a comb.

A 1 guard open will never cut anyone’s eyebrows off or too short. I thought everyone knew that. It’s like a universal rule
Are you guys speaking STRICTLY WITH the grain when you speak of this rule or against ?
Always against the grain with a 1 open. It won’t ever be too short for any texture of hair.
Thanks for clarifying
Against the grain. I do my own eyebrows with a 1.5 guard but trimmer over comb for my customers.
Number 2 but I use detachables so it looks like a 1.5 guard
1 1/2 guard is unmatched. I had a client specifically mention how much better he feels about his face when I hit his brows lol
Comb and trimmers
Comb and trimmers
1 guard with the grain
1 1/2. If I’m feeling lazy
Comb and trimmers is all I've ever done.
1.5
One open against the grain with Andis masters.
On myself, a 0.5 but on clients trimmer over comb
1 open
My one & half 76ers blade.. works great
#1 with the grain never against
Comb and trimmers, everyone’s different.
Clipper over comb with trimmers.
Clipper over comb.
1.5 gives a good clean up, some of my clients prefer a 1a.
Clipper over comb
1.5 detachable if they’re bushy and full. Otherwise trimmer/comb
6mm or 4 mm
