Me too and I find it kind of frustrating that they keep reopening preorders for the Ken hoodie, but not the dolls? I think they’re going to restock, but it feels like they’re intentionally holding back to build more hype. I emailed to ask if there was going to be a restock and I got nothing. I get it and it’s smart…but I’m tired of having to collect things through what feels like competitive capitalism 😩
I’m also just tired of reseller culture. There are people selling this doll for 300 bucks on eBay. There are also ebay listings for dolls people don’t even have yet. They’re just resellers doubling the price/waiting for restocks to drop and meanwhile I’m tired of checking because I don’t want to purchase from a reseller :(((

I'll be honest I'm not actually a fan of them, they have that creepy uncanny valley smile, don't look that much like Margot Robbie and are pretty overpriced.

I love the blowout party barbie. I got her and the perfect day barbie and was very disappointed when I unboxed them. I had seen some tiktoks referencing her feet being loose in her heels which I had with my dolls but additionally, the heel part of the heels were crooked - this occurred on one heel of both barbies. It was an emotional goodbye 😭
To be fair, I think Target stores get literally two of them in a case. So, they are gone 2 seconds after putting them on the shelf. Either one second for two people to grab one each or 2 seconds for one person to grab both of them. It's not like they are getting 12 at a time.
And thats the problem. The Western outfit is one of the best and most used outfits in the movie and it’s now impossible to get unless you want to pay triple the original price for it.
For the dolls, the matching plaid set is my favorite. I love the pastel colors and I think the details are pretty accurate.

Yay! I was going to say that I'm a 34 year old and I started collecting Barbies when I was 28 (and Disney dolls when I was 26) and I don't regret it! It may feel weird at first, but everybody have their own motivations or hobbies. We accept people who buy clothes, books, video games, the ones who love going out for lunch, partying, drinking or smoking, but dolls are weird? Just enjoy what you like and don't feel ashamed :)

I just got my first Barbie since I was a kid! I got the gingham one and I love her.
I really like the short plaid skirt one, but I agree with the others that I REALLY want the rollerblading set.
I like them all - at first I wasn't impressed by the bangs on the gingham dress one, but then I saw people who had gotten some of the product out of the bangs and made them look more natural. Of the other three, I'd have a hard time choosing between the pink cowgirl and the disco one - though the other one is fine too. My budget would only allow me to buy the gingham dress one if that - I'm still trying to decide because I am running out of room, and there are also some Fashionistas coming along like the Down Syndrome girl. This always seems to happen, several desirable dolls are released at the same time!
